Very crowded in good weather, rocky beach and muddy water. They do have a good snack and ice cream shack.

Plenty of parking, good little kiosk that has hot and cold drinks and very friendly owners. The water is safe and it’s really easy to get to. Lovely for walking either along the foreshore or in the forest. Great panoramic views of the inlet; if you’re staying at legoland or similar and want a bit of chill after all the action, come here and relax. Excellent crab fishing too off the jetty.

Bring the kids. They can fish for crabs from the pier (Bring a string tied to a clothes' hanging clip) You can also swim in the summer. They have an ice cream shop and a great walking trail.
