The grand square mall in Velechery is not as big as Phoenix mall or Express Avenue, but still a small little place where one can buy various things from a variety of shops. It would be nice if one can avoid the weekends though.

It was not a busy mall in the city. Shops are still under renovation or new construction. Not many shops are there for various outlets. Major shops available are DMart, croma and the PVR. One of the main attraction is the big trampoline field. Small local vendors are there in the ground floor. So it might not be good to spend lot of time with family. Only specific shopping can be done. Toilets are not in good shape looking age old. Same for the lifts. No food court inside it. Outside mall you can have small outlets for eating and a MacDonald next to it. Parking is charged Rs.50 hourly.

Great place to spend time with your family. Movie experience was good too Only thing I felt was "Parking Scam" too much is taken being it a public place. Almost entire Chennai malls are doing the same. Visiting from Hyderabad where we don't pay for parking if you are buying something more than the parking ticket like watching movie / shopping / having food etc. Sometime around 2015 they used to collect parking fee but after complaints from public government passed an order to all malls in hyderabad not to collect parking fee as it comes under property meant to be constructed for public 🙏 Coming to other things, Trampoline - better to visit only on weekdays. The Grand square Mall which i had visited during Christmas was a small mall when compared to other malls.But their decorations for Christmas was so awesome and colourful.They have a old bookshops which is something new that I found here.The hand made handicraft shops were very good. I enjoyed being at the mall

Small Mall in this vicinity and good place to kill time. No need to walk much and you won't get tired roaming here and there. Eaterys are there but cost is bit high. Theatre is advantage, if you have time, can visit there.

SkyJumper is a trampoline park located in the Grand Square Mall in Velachery, Chennai. It is a great place for kids and adults alike to let loose and have some fun. The park has a variety of trampolines, including a dodgeball court, a foam pit, and a basketball hoop. There is also a ninja obstacle course, a slackline, and a climbing wall. The park is well-maintained and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. They make sure that everyone is following the safety rules and that everyone is having a good time. I went to SkyJumper with my friends and we had a great time.we loved the dodgeball court and the foam pit. I enjoyed the climbing wall and the slackline. We all had a lot of fun and we would definitely go back again

A compact mall with pvr screens in it and some eateries, D-mart and Croma. Parking is small and narrow lying underground, car parking is 50Rs per hour (Jan 2024) which is high. It is useful for the Velachery residents for movies.

Even outside the mall there are chai kings, waffle store and keventers. Parking charges are more, but 100 rs refund provided for people watching in pvr

Quite a medium sized mall well maintained neat and clean.. We visited skyjumper Trampoline park in grand mall... Per hour 600 rupess and some socks with grip charged around 85 rupess.. Kids will enjoy maximum in this park.Full physical exercise... Main places in this mall are Dmart, chroma,max, BBQ and PVR.

Very good place to hang out and have fun. It has many shops to visit and many good restaurants to eat. Initially i thought there won't be any shops inside the mall, but there are many shops here. There is Dmart on the ground and 1st floor, in which we can buy anything at cheaper prices.

Good place for shopping. They have Dmart, old books available for half price, Max etc,. This place is surrounded by lots of restaurants like McD, Domino's, KFC, SEA SHELL, Tosai, Barbeque, Meat and Eat, fast foods and much more.. This is a good place for foodies. I did a lot of shopping and tried a variety of food here like Vada pav, Tosai, MC.d, Momos.. It was raining heavily when returning back. It's better to stay in McD or inside the grand square itself while it's raining.

Hi dear, the place is really good for lovers and time passing people. Outside of the mall we are also able to spend the time there is a space to sit down to relax 😀 too. Toilet cleaner, movie tickets 🎟️ is 200 rs per head but smaller size popcorn 🍿 250rs, medium 350rs and large popcorn 🍿 450 rs🤔 😫😫 JANAN movie 🎥 is good will give 4 star ⭐ We spent 4 hrs parking per hour so the parking alone was 200 rs.😔

Had great experience, went with my kids during Christmas time. It's a family package. Starting from electronics, bags, cosmetics, short eats, clothing, entertainment for kids like battery train rides, etc there at the end we did grocery shopping from Dmart lot of items there for day to day needs. Every minute spent is worth.

Small mall with PVR cinemas.. hotspot located next to McDonald's and opposite to zaitoon. Among other barbecue nation in the city the one located inside grand mall. Barbecue nation is available with good taste and services, experienced 2 times. Can choose this restaurant fr team dinner. ?

Good neighborhood shopping and movie mall. Unplanned commercial shops are big nuisance for traffic , parking, etc.. Govt should give incentives to develop more properties like this mall. Street vendors should be given special concessions in such malls -so they don't set up shops in the middle of road.

You can hang out for some time.... earlier it was empty after opening the DMART it started getting crowded. No food court currently.

Small mall with less option of shopping and parking is little expensive always their is no food court and restaurants have just few entertainment only even once you walking the high price charging will make to walk out of the mall and will avoiding coming back ,this mall recently git life because of .. D mart and PVR cinemas .. rather people will walking to croma in main entrance and walk back...still got Trampoline and sky park in 4 floor will make some attention

I went to watch a movie with my gang. Theatre was good and that was the only fun we had. No good court, no KFC and everything is outside the mall. A small one. Not much fun. Maybe in future if they bring new stores and food court, it will be a hit.

Mall is cozy has a good variety but the parking and alleys to DMart have to be made usable. The alleys stink, the parking ramp down and up are common for two wheelers where the two wheelers zip zap and zoom in between! It simply cannot handle the weekend crowd. Moreover there is absolutely no ventilation in basement parking B1 and B2. I wouldn’t venture again just because of parking!

It's a small mall with PVR cinemas at the top. Shoppers stop is good here. Food court is not great. But you have Barbecue Nation restaurant here. But for these, there's nothing noteworthy.

This place is near Velachery railway station.My daughter used to enjoy whenever she come here as more fun activity for kids are available. During festival season, many stalls will open outside , which will be quiet good.

The mall offers you ample amount of choices in food/ shopping/ entertainment and is quite adequately located. They even host a sunday flea market and you can expect quite a lot of people for shopping. They also have an amazing Outdoor Sports turf on the terrace which is located at an amazing location and gives you a panoramic view of the entire skyline and the city. If you're planning on visiting and playing over there, try booking a slot closer to sunset. That way you get to enjoy the turf under the golden hour which is perfect to click some amazing pictures.

The attender said, due to COVID LOCKDOWN, to attract people, the Parking charges are waived off. The exit is through rear side, opposite to entry road. While exiting, there are no direction board, which confuses. Be careful to take right side road to reach Velachery mainroad. Maintenance is deriorated post Covid. It's a typical mall with necessary amenities. I saw Nalli, Max clothing stores, Mc Donald ice creams, meat and eat, barbeque nation restaurants, Moore market books. There were also a party hall in the 3rd floor which usually used to be a gaming zone. Restrooms were in the first floor. Parking fee for two wheeler is 50 irrespective of the duration.

Myself with my family went to Barbeque nation and the place was very neat and clean and food served was very good and was very tasty and it won't spoil your stomach varietes are good nice place to go with your family

Another mall similar to Phoenix mall is in the anvil. Many shops are still vacant at the moment. Once occupied, it will be another good place in Velachery.

Once a hub of activities, this mall has fallen silent as it's anchor tenants have moved out during the current pandemic. But with new anchor Dmart opening soon, I'm sure the lost glory will be restored.

You will love it.. your kids will love.. except cost a Lil on the higher side but they would have paid much to develop and maintain these kinds of places for kids. And little feel is that they should have a little more games than trampoline alone

A neighbourhood Mall for an impromptu hangout. A couple of good eats. You cannot go on a shopping spree here but you can find some good stuff from the few shops this mall hosts. There is also a second hand book store which has quite a few collection of books - adult and young adult fictions, kids books, picture books, history books.. in Tamil and English. If you need to burn a couple of hours and you live close by this could be the place to go and just.... hang!

Very poorly maintained mall.. Being in one of the prime areas of Chennai, it needs humongous improvement.. The restrooms stink similar to the core.. Kindly look into it immediately.. A betterly maintained part in this mall is PVR Cinemas..

You can visit here for the D mart shopping. D mart shopping complex is good for groceries and houseware items and available at affordable prices. But the clothes items are not as much available. Croma is also available there and some street food is of good quality.

Went to the trampoline park in the mall. Trampoline park was amazing. This is one of the best park I ever visited. Prices vary depending on weekends, weekdays and timings. Lots of shops and there were less crowd when compared to other malls even on weekends

Seems not properly organised. Ground floor is full of crowdy. First floor is more of empty as there is few shops only. Second floor is also less entertainment for kids. Cheeky monkeys play area can be improved in terms of customer management, cleanliness and most of the playing machines are out of order.
