We went for dinner and the evening specials were vegetarian items prepared in non veg style. Everything we ordered tasted very good! The quality of the food was good and does not do anything to your stomach (even with 'spicy' dishes). As the place was pretty crowded, the order may take longer. We went on a Sunday night here when the crowd was more. They follow first come first serve and don't take reservations. But then the waiting time wasn't long. Favourites: Mushroom kothu parotta, Madurai kari oothapam (soya based), idli paya

Couple of us had been to this place on an evening. We went to the ground floor Self service area and ordered Aloo Channa Chat and Bhel Puri. Taste was not upto the mark. While the Aloo Channa Chat was kind of ok, the Bhel Puri was disappointing. Service was very good. When we wanted to get Jilebi, the mini was 100 gms. However, they gave some pieces for taste. Staff were very courteous and the ambience was clean.

Never thought i enjoy Vegetarian Food this good. Had attended a friend's baby shower and was uneasy that lunch was going to be Vegetarian :P. But in hunger, the Vegetarian spread tasted so good that after 30 years of having Sambar Rice at home and everywhere, this place had this unique one that left a memory. Kudos to the quality and taste. They had a nice variety of sweets and bakery stuff as well. Ample Car parking. Would have been my destined place if was pure Veg.

Restaurant was highly crowded.. ppl were in the queue to eat here. You should give your names and wait for your turn. Quality of the food is too good. Their karupatti halwa is their signature dessert. I'm not a fan of karupatti so I can't comment on this but you must try.. Good ambience.

Very good ambience and good service done by Mr. Jhabat and team, food quality also excellent. We felt very happy from parking to till the end all services are good. Just some more explanation of food and quantity suggestions need from table service person based on seeing the persons / family size. Overall satisfied.

Dated 13 Nov 23, 5.00pm, Evening Options are very less ., many evening options was not available or they told it will be available only after 6. About the snacks- very less quality and expensive Major issue - One of our order was chilli cheese toast . We were very disappointed with the quality of the food . Sandwich was toasted along with the cheese wrapper . Even after complaining also , thr was no proper response. Management should also focus on quality of food than earning money with brand name . Atmosphere- very much dust and unclean Service- Bad., won’t recommend.

Must try charminar idly and virudunagar parotta. Both were unmatchable in taste. Super delicious. Quite decent in table service. Vfm.

Just worth it. It's amazing. If you want to try something different try Kerala fried Idly and garlic mini podi idly. But everything we tried here was amazing. Desserts are expensive but it's really tempting. Try the sandwiches, they were also great!

Ambience was good. It was a hurry on the outside. Prime location for a restaurant. Need more valets. Food was good - a good family experience. A touch on the spicy side Service was also good. Our table was waited by Shravan Kumar. He was courteous and got all the orders in quick time. Restaurant fills up pretty quickly. We had seats at 6.45 for a early dinner but the restaurant was full at 7 PM. Plan your visit accordingly.

Tried their Wednesday special dishes like 1. Soya kothu Parotta 2.Chettinad idly 3. Paal Kozhukattai 4. Mexican french fries Soya kothu Parotta - Good quantity of soya but very minimal quantity of parota. Tastes chettinad gravy with mild spices. Chettinad idly- Tastes very similar to soya kothu Parotta but more spicy. An average dish Paal Kozhukattai - must try dish, Taste was extraordinary. Good portions of Kozhukattai in the milk. Grated coconut sprinkles over the paal Kozhukattai. Mexican cheese french fries - Dip was good, normal' french fries sauteed with some chilly honey. Over fries they grated some cheese.

This is a vegetarian restaurant. The ambience of the restaurant is pretty good and the service is also nice, the food tastes more like North Indian than South. But that is also kind of good for lunch. It is not only hotel for vegetarian but it also has bakery and sweets. The experience there was pretty nice.

Having had delectable food numerous times over the last 5+ years from the anna nagar and alwarpet branches of Akshayam , I was utterly disappointed by the quality of food , service and hygiene at the Akshayam Velachery branch To begin with, the waiter told us that nothing apart from dosa was available. This was at 5pm in the evening when most people drink tea/coffee. The menu is posted here - its useless going thru the same as only dosa is available. We were seated on the (seemingly airconditioned) first floor which was overrun by flies. The waiters don't pay any attention and you need to call them multiple times to get them to come to the table. The cutlery is not washed properly. The food is extremely salty and spicy and was not edible. I was sick for many days after consuming the food here. Stay away from this place.

Visited twice here, ambience was good. Delivery, food quality and taste were good. Ordered mini idli with ghee saambar, onion rava dosa, aapam with coconut milk, poori and ghee roast. All these were good. Also tasted butterscotch milk shake, the quantity and quality were good. Bit dissapointed with the paneer starter.

This is a go-to place for Vegetarians, especially for the evening south Indian varieties that they serve. I had recently visited this place for breakfast. All the dishes tasted good, but one thing that I faced was they had put lots of fenugreek seeds in Sambar, and I never saw people doing this, which made me eat bitter in each bite of sambar.✌🏼

I used to go here for a budget breakfast or having a health combo, which are very delicious 😋 to start with my mornings. This place is very crowded during the budget breakfast window between 8.30 AM and 9.30 AM, increasing budget mini tiffin costs every two weeks to handle crowds, last paid 65 rupees includes tax. On the other hand, a healthy combo is really a good choice, which contains roasted bread, oats, cucumber 🥒 salad, nuts salad.

Good Restaurant, good sweets and snacks (bit oily) - good bakery stuffs - slightly expensive but it’s worth the money. But I have a concern on their packing - for example - I recently bought a mini Thatai for 60rs - 150gms. They say it will be good for 7 days - then why don’t you give us a nice box to store ? They just give it on a box with one time seal. What’s the idea behind it :) pics attached. Either they should give on cover or box with reusable box.

They have good and different varieties on their menu, food tastes good and great ambiance. It is usually crowded during the weekends. The breakfast combo is a great deal here at just ₹40. They do have sweets and bakery in the ground floor. Update: After multiple visits in the recent time I see their service is not good. On a weekday morning at 9:30am with a mere 15 members overall they could not give prompt attention and the food was served very late and it was cold. It is very disappointing just to refill chutney sambar I had call different guys multiple times.

Tried here for the first time, no complaints with their service or quality of food! Weekends are bit crazy, but they managed it well unlike A2B or Murugan idli shop which we waited for 15 mins in each place before decided to come here. Appreciate the way they managed weekend dinner crowd. We got all our dishes in minutes and everything tasted good! Must visit place for veg lovers!

This is an honest review from a normal family eat-out perspective. Some of the items were very tasty, some were very moderate. Please find below my ratings for each dish we tasted out of 5: 1.Garlic naan (4.5/5) - Unlike other restaurants, we really liked the extra masala on garlic topped up on roti base, it was very yummy. 2.Veg fried rice (3/5) - some overpowering sauce/vinegar was added, didn't like much. 3.Gobi Manchurian Dosa (4.5/5) - Dosa filled with yummy gobi manchurian filling- tasted extremely yummy when tasted alone, didn't go well with chutneys or sambar that was served along with. 4.Pallipalayam parotta (4/5) - Paneer filling was nice, tastes good, served with raitha 5.Aapam with kadalai curry (4/5) - Tasted good, aapams were crispy, channa curry tastes usual 6.Charminar thattu idly (3/5) - Nothing so super except for the fancy name. Dry coarsely ground podi with ref chillis and garlic was topped up upon thattu idly, no oil or ghee was mixed with idly podi though - felt idly was very dry 7.Matar paneer (3/5) - Gravy was very thick in consistency and very sweeter than normal 8.Paneer tikka (3/5) - paneer was soft, green chutney tasted good but the paneer marinade needed further cooking - felt like it was still doughy. 9.chutneys and sambar - Good, but I'd bot say great - I have tasted better ones. Overall I'd say - ambience, food quality and taste were good, variety was also good when compared to other veg restaurants.. but some items tasted normal. Good place for family get together. If u r on a veg day when u cant have nonveg, if u wish to replace nonveg meal then u can definitely go here since variety in vegetarian is good to have..

One of the places in Chennai were one can savour some good North Indian food. The menu is huge.Service is good. Taste and quality of food is commendable. Crowded at night, some waiting time is there. The ground floor is a sweet stall and first floor is a restaurant. The parking space is not that sufficient.

    1. Food quality - 3/5 Usual taste provided by other restaurants. 2. Food menu : 3/5 A2B has a better menu than this. Very less 3. Serving time : 3/5 Simple menu takes 20 mins 4. Hospitality: This hotel is in a prime place, so due to demand, better not to expect

Don't go for the restaurant. It's awful. Ordered cream of mushroom soup, honey chilli paneer and paniyaram. None of it tasted good. Especially the soup it was blad and we had to return it. Paneer starter was too oily. Paniyaram was average. They do have a sweet shop in the ground floor. It was worth the money. Go for the sweets not for any other food.

The best ever veg restaurant u can find in this place and in its category. Preferably try dining in.the food is excellent, the service is grt. Ambience is gud.the sweet shop is also a grt. Must try Mini tiffen Pineapple kesari Coffee Karupati n carrot halwa Steed vazhathandu dosa Mothi laddoo Kaju pan Carrot halwa Elaneer halwa Keema parota The only issue is the place is too crowded and to get parking n Seating is difficult that too in the evening.

We had "Dhivya Bhojanam" today; was extremely satisfied starting from the soup. Enjoyed the soft and fresh Naan with the mushroom kuruma. Next course was the paruppu podi & Ellu podi with rice accompanied by some yummy vendakkai poriyal n cabbage kootu, This followed by some homely sambhar, the highlight of the meal was manathakali vatha kuzhambu! the best ive had in ages, Satisfying meal with pleasant service, lived up to the tag of FGI yam. ice-cream to finish lest i forget

A very good vegetarian restaurant near Velachery Vijaya nagar. Its always boring to choose geetham or A2B restaurant for having the good vegetarian food. So i just wanted to try new restaurant which is more comfort , tasty and also having the different verities of food , snacks and drinks. I found this restaurant when i am walking to grand mall and i wanted to try some drink because its too hot in outside. when i enter this restaurant the ambience is nice and they have varieties of Cakes , Drinks , Sweets and snacks in ground floor and for tiffin , lunch and dinner are dine-in in 1st floor. There is a waiting period if you go in peak hours. The food is good with a lot of menu options. There are some daily special items which must be tried. I recommended to try their badam milk which is so good and tasty. Overall a good restaurant in Velachery.

Too crowded during lunch hour's, better come earlier. The South and North Indian Thali taste decent but nothing special. The soup in South Indian Thali not so good taste, should improved.😀 Paneer Tikka is great taste👍 The staff is good specially when handling one customer who have ego issues and making some silly scenes,.it happened I'm there sitting behind their table 😔 I'm not using the toilet as too crowded and I can't imagine how's the condition there,😂 The sweet and bakery shop at the ground of Floor 😁

We went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. As expected, the place was well crowded. Most of the tables were full. We ordered full meals. The meals were good. The items were as usual like Potato for Poriyal and Bottle guard for kootu. The taste was good. We also ordered Gobi 65 and it was the worst I ever had. So, I returned it immediately. They didn't even care to make another plate. There is a good number of seating capacity. The service was below average. Parking space is available in front.
