Nice place to relax in the heart of the town. Fountains ( when working ) are a pleasure to watch. Needs more light at night. Non expensive pubs around. You may drink beer and enjoy the atmosphere. Suitable for all ages. Very friendly for kids as well. Nice playing ground for them.

It's a good park. Quite calm and quiet for it's positioning in the middle of the city. Could use some more benches although not many people seem to be visiting daily. Has a few small tavernas in the outskirts, water area, flower garden. Everything you need to get away from the city for a bit.

A lovely open space, kept clean and with a wide mix of tree species. There is a big water feature, chess boards, the Rotary Club have planted beautiful gardens, and it's a nice place for spending time with the family.

A lovely park situated in the heart of Tarnovo. Complete with a playground for children and a few charming spots to relax, it's an ideal destination for a pleasant afternoon outing followed by a delightful dinner.

Park is a nice place in the town's central area. Water cascade and the fountains are a good feature to cool off during the summer. There is some decline in tree and vegetation maintenance in the past years. Hope this will change soon by electing a new mayor. A bit overcrowded, but this is expected - the town does not have enough green spaces or the size of the parks is not enough.

Nice fountain with dandelions and a grasshopper on one of them. But we were unable to translate "marno" from Bulgarian :(

Great urban park, with lots of places to eat, drink coffee or beer in the evening. It also has a nice outdoor theatre, playground and restaurants.

A surprisingly nice development amongst the very demanding terrain of old Turnovo. It is a serene place to sit and watch the colors of the trees, the birds, the locals, and listen to the running water of the fountains.

Top of the pop. Old people playing chess. Uncanny cold wind in the middle. Bands play sometimes and home to the summer theater

Not the biggest park in the world but really well maintained and some really nice cafes there. A great place to stop for refreshments.

I need to say that I was born in Veliko Tarnovo. Marno pole is not the biggest park in town but holds a special place in my heart. The fountains keep you cool during the hot summer days and the lights are beautiful in the night. It holds the international dance festival and summer movie projections during summer. There are a few cafes in the park and a bouncy castle for the children. Also a children playground. A perfect place to read a book, have a beer with friends or to take your child.
