I’m personally split on this beautiful restaurant. First let me start with the positives: - Beautiful and spacious restaurant, it feels modern and peaceful, perfect setting for a dinner experience - The service was good, the staff was friendly and knowledeable - I love that they have a partnership with a Champagne house! - Great Wine menu - The food is innovative, fresh and local My issue comes from the overall experience vs price. Some dishes were incredible, some dishes were misses and tried to push the limits too much. Overall though, I loved the food and enjoyed my meal. Here is the issue: they charge Michelin Stars prices and while their food and service are great, we ate at multiple Michelin Star restaurants during our 3 week trip (for either the same amount of money or in some cases less money) that were simply put, better. The consistency of the dishes quality was better, the service was better and the overall logical continuity of the meal was better. My favorite meal of our entire trip was at a Michelin Star restaurant and it was actually cheaper than Dama. If they lowered their prices a little, I would say it’s an amazing restaurant and a great experience. Unfortunately they’re a little too expensive right now.

Last night while on our honeymoon we had the privilege to experience and an amazing performance and art show at the magnificent Dama Restaurant in the beautiful city of Venice. First kudos to The amazing front of the house staff who were truly Broadway performers working in unison to make each guest feel special. One of the best service experience in anywhere. Grazi!! Let’s get to the food. The conductor of this symphony was the chef. And wow did he deliver. His use of the local ingredients from the lagoon really allowed you to experience what life was like many many centuries ago. He didn’t shy away from the tiniest local clams packed with flavor, to the lagoon grown asparagus or the tiny “prawns” called skia to the the almost extinct mussoli “clam like” pasta. His creativity was only matched by the balance of colors, texture and FLAVOR. It’s great to see a young chef not shy away from local ingredients and cook with heart and passion. Kudos to the entire Dama TEAM! Thank you for making our night and honeymoon that extra special!! We will be back. It’s definitely worth the trip to Venice!!

Would have loved to go there since I've read in their reviews they have vegan options. I couldn't find anything in their menu so I stopped by and asked them in person. The person we asked had no clue what the difference between vegan and vegetarian is and offered us dishes with eggs and cheese. After explaining, that we don't eat animal products, that person again offered us vegetarian dishes. No thanks. As a restaurant you should understand what vegan means, especially in 2022.

We had a very nice dinner and we tryed the degustation menu with 5 dishes. We were very impressed about the food, all the dishes except the desert were all based on fish. Very creative and yummy, interesting tastes. I totally recommend this restaurant. Must try!! The ambiance, the service and food was amazing. Thank you for the experience ✅

We had a lovely dinner here a few weeks ago. We opted for the tasting menu and it was a great experience. The food, the wine, and the service were fantastic. We highly recommend it and will be back next time we’re in Venice!

You can taste the stories behind dishes. The colors, the smell and the ways they present each course is amazing! I would visit again if I ever come to Venice! Thank you for the wonderful night, that we will never forget.

Delicious 5-course lunch menu with a wine pairing here while we were visiting Venice. Excellent service and they answered all questions we had about the food and wine. The chef also came out to us after the meal. We loved the amuse bouche and the wooden block presentation too!

Together with my wife we had a great pleasure to celebrate my 50th birthday at the DAMA Restaurant. Our dinner was a series of delightful flavors. The point is, that this team delivers more than you'd expect from a restaurant (even a top one). They play with guests a game based on intelligent associations and unusual surprises. If you want to spend an unforgettable and unique evening in Venice - consider DAMA as the host of such an event.

Delicious, innovative and surprising food. Enjoyed every little detail from the start till the end with constantly hight quality. Very nice, unpretentious but preset service and good atmosphere. Will definitely come back!

We only went for lunch, but really enjoyed it. Delicious risotto and focaccia, and great coffee. Were made to feel very welcome; were given a little treat before our meal, and our host even shooed away seagulls who looked like they were getting close.

Excellent experience where the entire staff was super warm, knowledgeable and attentive (I also watched them seamlessly transition from language to language at different tables!) Flavors were so unique, beautifully presented. The "surprises" were all delightful from the chef. A must-try in Venice.

Opened in 2022 and already a reference in Venetian cuisine. Stellar service, nice ambiance with super inventive dishes…a must stop. Bravo..

Absolutely fabulous food, friendly and attentive waiters and very good value for the high quality and interesting food, very inventive menu from a Michelin starred chef , we will make it a point to return whenever we are in Venice . Before we left the chef Lorenzo came out to ask how we enjoyed the food and to talk about his vision and inspiration, this will be a restaurant to watch!

Normally I do not post reviews, but Dama and its amazing staff gave me what was probably the best overall dining experience of my life so far, so I had to post a review for them. I was visiting Venice on a solo trip for my birthday, and had my birthday dinner at Dama. Despite it being a Saturday night, some last minute cancellations by others meant I basically had the place to myself. I ordered the five course tasting menu with the wine pairing, and let me tell you, it was all phenomenal. All the courses were delicious, and utilized many inventive combinations of flavors and foods that worked perfectly together. All of the staff was very attentive, kind, and knowledgable about the different courses and wines served. It was especially great talking with head chef Lorenzo Cogo, who explained to me each of the dishes and his inspiration for them, which really enhanced my appreciation of the whole dinner. I really cannot say enough praise for the dinner, it was my last night in Venice and I could not have asked for a better end to my trip. During my time in Venice I ate at a different restaurants that was awarded a Michelin Star (which was also a fantastic meal), and I think Dama easily was as good or better than that meal in all respects, and in due time I'm sure that Dama will get a star or more of its own for its delicious and innovative food!
