AWESOME little bar! It’s is quite small. There are 3 sitting areas inside where 2-3 people can sit. There is bar outside where you can have as many people as will fit on the street. So, you have a big group, don’t worry you’ll find the space. When we were there it was filled with locals. Which a great sign! They serve mostly wine, but we had Aperol Spritz. It was great. Maybe the best one we had in Venice. We paid 3 EUR for one Aperol which is cheap! They also serve wide variety of snacks. Bartenders are super nice and very helpful! We really liked this pace!

You are obligated to order wine, if not, the owner screamed to you and discriminate you by insulting you that you only order a water. You have to order the food without thinking, otherwise the owner will shout at you and insult you. As the tourists who don’t know how it works there, you are not allowed to ask if there are seats or what are the food because the owner will shout at you. After all these insults, he asked 5 euro for this bottle of water, moreover, he started to evoke to start a fight. I understand that they don’t lack of the customers, and they don’t care about the customer, but it is really a shame to behave like that in a beautiful city, pity for him, a man can not control temper and behavior. In the end I highly recommend Ei refolo, the food is absolutely amazing there, the owner is sooooo friendly, you have to try there! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wow amazing, now the owner put all fault on his clients. I don't know what he is talking about 5 minuts and 10 minutes, in fact from we found a seat and we left I think in total it was 5-7 minutes. Maybe for the owner, we are in the film of "Interstellar", one minute equals seven minutes in his "money making planet" LOL. Why we enter a wine bar? Because we are TOURISTS and we saw you have things to eat and we didn't know you had that discrimination rule. Our friends took the wine and we were thinking to eat some tapas, is that so difficult for you to understand? Follow your logic, if so, why you even open a place like that. So next time, maybe you hang a notice outside written: We don't welcome people who don't drink wine. That will very helpful for the foreigner toursits :)

Our first cicchetti ever in Venice as we were there the first time 5 years ago. So happy to find this place accidentally again. A great place with great wine and great price. I love their Primitivo wine, would like to drink the whole bottle if I could, but it was too late and I was afraid to fall in the canal, so I had to let it be. If you find this place, step in and enjoy the drink there. 😄

Absolutely amazing place, the staff were super super friendly and the owner gave us recommendations! Unfortunately, some places can seem unfriendly or downright hostile to tourists but this place was very welcoming. Price ranged from €2-€6 depending on what you pick. Cicchettis were simarly priced and they were fantastic as well! I am still thinking about the stuffed squid. We easily dropped €70 in this place between two people, best €70 ever spent. The wine menu is a great addition especially for tourists!

Had a great experience here. The owner was lovely and gave some good recommendations. The food was delicious, the octopus was my favourite! Lots of nice wine to choose from! I’d highly recommend stopping by here if you’re in Venice!

Awesome bar! Great selection, tasty snack options, and fair prices. Staff were super nice, the place has a ton of personality, and what I loved the most was the atmosphere - I felt like a local, this is clearly not a touristy place. Would definitely come back if I return to Venice!

Friendly, knowledgeable owner who has a very warm welcome. Talks you through what’s available and has some awesome recommendations if you ask him. The octopus with tomato was absolutely divine and the portions are super generous.

One of the largest selections of wine by the glass I have seen. Almost everything I asked for the lady opened and served. Except for Amarone and Brunello - where I was asked to commit 3 glasses. Small interesting place. Good to just chill out. Sunday afternoon in Venice.

A fantastic little treasure of a place. Friendly and lively but in a good way. Great wine (lots of choice and the house options are as cheap as €2.60 a glass!). Cicchetti options are superb too and wine aplenty too…

If you want a place to hang out with friends after a crazy Venice trip, if you like old rock music and a bartender that has been masterly crafted for the atmosphere, perfect temperature and bubbly prosecco and sometimes a dog, go to this place. We stayed in Venice for 4 days and dropped here three times, and were never disappointed.

Avoid this place!! This place is a scam they charge you more than what you originally ordered. I asked the barman for only one glass and he kept insisting on giving me two even after I told him that I only wanted one. I also asked for some small bites to eat and he insisted that if I wanted to have them I had to sit down and eat them there that I couldn’t have them to take away. Even after all of this I said ok I’ll eat the food here and then take the wine away. He then proceeded to charge me for two glasses of wine. After I finished the food I asked him for a takeaway cup for the other glass of wine and he started shouting and let out a big sigh as if it was his worse convenience. Avoid this place like the plague.

Cicchetti were nice. We got a bottle of red wine (Merlot) and charged us €27. Worked out more per glass (glasses of merlot was €2.60). I know your owner was drunk but don't scam your customers.

Lots of tasty Cicchetti selection plus lots of wine option by the glass at excellent price, ideal to taste several regional wines.

I always come here when I am in Venice. The wines are great. There is always a great welcoming atmosphere. They don't seem to be staying open as late as before, which is disappointing as there are not many bars that open late.

Stopped here as part of our chichetti tour and loved it. Staff directed us to some great wine. Chichetti was middle of the road but they had some unique options. Also the vibe in here was really fun.

This was the ultimate "local" bar. It was small, quaint and so inviting. The wine list was enviable and the staff were extremely knowledgeable. It also had a fabulous valpolicella at €3.50 a glass, unheard of anywhere else. I would highly recommend!!

Great friendly place. The Baccalà alla vicentina was fantastic! It is so nice to find an inexpensive and good (small) meal in Venice. We keep coming back every day since we are staying close by.
