Bar

😐 One big glass of aperol there costs 12 euro. The problem is that they don’t ask you if you want the big one. Kinda a tourist trap I have to say. But other than that the view is really nice so the outdoor space worths it. People often mention drinks, euro, Rialto, view, location, service, glass, aperol, price, drink,

Extremely overpriced, 8€ for a small beer, 15€ for a big beer or an aperol spritz. On the receipt you only get the final price without the breakdown. Service non existant. 1 star only for the location

9th September 2023 - A very convenient location just next door to our hotel. Option of indoor or outdoor seating and we actually enjoyed this location twice during our visit to Venice. At the footing of the Rialto Bridge steps. We enjoyed a platter with some drinks here and it was both tasty and refreshing. The service was quick and friendly.

This place doesn't have a sign so visitors won't find it on google. €3 espresso. You're essentially paying for the view! The guy was mad I didn't have cash while other places happily accept. Unappreciated attitude.

Absolutely shocking! 73Euros for a few drinks and three nibbles on a sharing platter. The biggest load of frauds on the grand canal, avoid at all costs!! If I could, I would give it 0 stars. I was with my family, including two children when this happened, which made it worse, these people are ripping off families . When it came to pricing it up the big, bald waiter just made up the prices, €15 for one beer, €15 for a Venitian red spritzer, €25 for a platter of 12 pieces between four people. The waiter, the cook, and some of the local cronies laughed when I went up and had to pay the bill. Please avoid this place!

This is our best Bar in Venice, we go every time here to get a Spritz Aperol and a toast. The best view of the Rialto Bridge.

This is ridiculous. One big glass of aperol is 12 euro. Apparently once you got the ‘big’ glass, the price is higher. But nobody asks beforehand if we want to have ‘regular’ or a big glass. This is a pure tourist trap.

Don't STOP HERE. This is a tourist rip off. Which is such a shame as it's not necessary. I wish we'd read other reviews before stopping. Yes you pay €12 for a glass of prosecco. Although that annoyed me what I found really sad was once the waiter realised we were tourists the service was totally different. No nuts with the drink and just rude. Sad.😟

A great location to have a cappuccino and a bite in the morning. You can enjoy the view and the morning rush at Rialto bridge and Grant Canal. Quick service but no menu with prices. The historic photographs at the walls inside have some interest.

Way too expensive. I mean I understand expensive but this is rediculous. 48 euro for 4 aperol sprizt. Big glass is 12 euro, but I drank also in other place normal glass for 3.5 euro so this is way more than double

The only thing saving it is location. The waiters are rude and useless and they are theives on the bill. Charged me €30 for 2 aperol spritz and 2 greasy snacks. On the charge they did not even descriminate what was the consumption so they could charge whatever they wanted. When paying they cancelled the first charge, though I'm sure it passed, and charged again. Now I'm waiting to see if I actually paid €60 or the €30. Either was I felt robbed. NEVER GOING BACK AND NEVER RECOMMENDING.

Seems to be a tourist trap and most probably it is or can be, but I had two nice experiences here in the last couple of days. The location is great. The staff was nice with me both times. Yesterday I had an aperol spritz at this place. This morning I had my morning cappucino and croissant along the Canal Grande. Also locals go there which is always a good sign. Recommended.

This was one of our favorite spots in Venice when we went there a few weeks ago, and the Limoncello Spritz was our go-to drink. Small place, but we always managed to find sears inside. If you don't mind all the smoking, then just sit or stand outside to enjoy your drinks. There's only one waiter, but it doesn't matter because he is very fast and efficient! Unfortunately, we never got his name, but thank you very much!!! The place was so great, that one of the nights we were there we had a quick conversation with the table next to us with 3 Irishman, and they ended up paying for our tab!! I guess that was their way of giving us a wedding anniversary gift!!! Overall, great spot to have drinks and enjoy the view of the Rialto Bridge.

Convenient location? Yes. However, awful experience in terms of what we paid and what we got. Be careful, they don’t give you a menu which ultimately result in drinks with a high price compared to other beautiful places in the area. In a first impression, the place looks simple but prices are not. So I would recommend you to go to a much nicer place in Rialto with canal view, you will pay something similar even less for drinks and food will have more quality.

2 stars because gentleman serving/owning the place definitely tried to rip us off. He tried to take our order as if we knew what they served so had to ask for a drinks menu - all spritzes were 8 euro. We ordered 3 and by the time we asked for the bill, he said the total was 36 euro. When questioned, he said it was because all the spritzes were ‘big’ glasses therefore 12 euro each. We ordered what was on the menu - there was no option for a big or small nor did he give us the option. We pushed back and said this was not what we ordered, he was quick to give in and said he’d do it for 27 euro (although should have 24, we could not be bothered arguing further). Drinks were fine and obviously location by the Rialto is nice however, definitely be cautious! We can see why the rating of this place is so low. Don’t bother.

If you get the table near the window or the outside one - could be very enjoyable experience. We had aperol spritz - was expensive 12€ comparing with the price in another places being around half the price. For this price I would expect better snacks than peanuts but better than nothing 😂 Service was ok

terrible drink prices - you get the price on your face, e.g. acerol 12 €, wine 10 € - avoid this place because there are many more bars around with normal prices

My favourite place to drink a huge Spritz in the evening and look at the river. With some luck you will get a place outside and are able to watch the life happening around you. Nice service, reasonable prices and you get free nuts with your drinks in the night.

€10 for 2 lattes? Is a kind of a joke, tourist trap, and a lesson, ask for price before you order as they will charge u whatever they want

Found this spot on a rainy day. Sat down for a few glasses of wine and enjoyed the atmosphere next to Rialto Bridge. Not overly expensive. Had a great experience.

Lovely area to have a drink right by the Rialto Bridge & Canal. However, very expensive drinks. €12 per drink slightly excessive. Proper tourist trap here. Could only give 3* service wasn't great.

Bad service, not friendly and only takes cash. Even the food and drinks they service are a waste of money, as we ordered two glasses of Prosecco and both had no bubbles. So, don’t go here.

5 euro a cup of cappuccino, way too expensive. Avoid drink or dine here.

Great but very expensive (12€ each) aperol in dirty glass with beautiful view for sunset near Canale Grande

Very nice and tasty food. Also nice presentation. Location fantastic. But the waiters was fighting about their overtime beside us. That was destroying the whole charm and atmosphere of that evening. We try to finish our food fast and move on.

Been really good, best coffee we've had in Venice and we're coffee snobs. Best Aperol Spritz too and great bubbly Rose. Been our return Goto in Venice and more than reasonably priced.

If you can spare a couple of hours in busy Venice and you enjoy people watching, this is the place to go. Situated right next to the busy Rialto bridge, its perfect! This is the only place you can sit and enjoy a drink without being forced to eat (to get the best seat) at the Rialto Bridge. From water taxi's to gondolas, people posing to curious people, this was an entertaining afternoon.

I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel next door 3 days ago. This place was the perfect spot to just chill even if you are solo. The food and drinks were good, the staff and especially the bartender were very friendly.
