Look, you are looking at a review for a Hard Rock Cafe in Venice, Italy. That means you have already gotten over the guilt and biases for choosing to eat at an American chain restaurant when you are in one of the best food countries in the world. You could just want some comfort food from home because you are jetlagged or you could be one of those people (like us) who visit a Hard Rock Cafe wherever you travel. Either way, this is a darn good Hard Rock. It is a bit on the small side so you may want to make a reservation if you plan on eating there during a peak time. You have an amazing view from the second floor of the canals and gondolas, you have decent air conditioning and drinks with ice. You even have a “local” menu so you won’t feel too guilty eating there. Service is predictably good and all the food was cooked well. The rock shop was also well stocked with pins. Do I feel guilty for skipping Italian food for one night? Sure. But will I do it the next time I visit another country. Yes!

Fantastic food, had the messi burger 🍔 and fried chicken burger. Location is great opposite the gondola area. Service was slow and a let down, and waited nearly 10mins to pay the bill.

Very large portions. Food was good very fresh. Service was excellent. Great location although we found it hard to find.

I’m a local and I know it sounds strange but this is one of my favorite places in Venice. Also the only one that’s not rising prices with no reason just to steal money to tourists. I come here often with my friend if we want to enjoy a super good and tasty meal different from the typical cuisine. The location is beautiful with great vibes, the staff is super friendly and kind and the food is delicious. My favorites are the nachos (a must try) and the giant brownie, better if shared! See you again soon!

Lovely place to hangout! Ask for Mason (our server)when there. He was awesome! The music was spot on! Is very close to San Marco square.

Pricier than some of the local Italian restaurants, but we wanted a break from pizza/pasta/panini, so this seemed like a good option. I’m told the burgers were not dry as mentioned in a few reviews. The nachos were plentiful. We did ask for the nachos without beans, but still had beans put on them. You need to pay extra for guacamole. The jalapeños on the nachos are not hot. Service was friendly and prompt. We were seated upstairs. Toilets are located on the ground floor, as is the gift store. No live music like other Hard Rocks.

I went here for a nice burger but sadly I was disappointed. As usual, the atmosphere and the music were great, and my server must have been one of the nicest I have found in Venice. I ordered the double stack double cheeseburger with a beer. The burger looked great, but sadly, the flavour was missing. Tha patties were very dry, and I am convinced they had no salt or pepper on them. All the juice of the burger was found in the bottom bun, which disintegrated instantly. I will be going back next time I'm here, but I will probably stick to just drinks then.

I highly recommend Hard Rock Cafe in Venezia. The food is amazing and Fabio (the waiter) was so thoughtful and kind with us.

Thank you Fady at the Rock Shop for the assertiveness, you were really friendly and helpful. Okay the Bengali and philipino chefs should answer this, even if it is medium rare, at least the butter on the top should melt if the stake is Hot, what I received was utterly cold and had to request d server to change it. I'm glad she did (sorry the name on the bill says Ximena). Guys I spent 55 euros, the least I deserve is hot food. I'm not taking a dig on the chefs nationality here but professionalism comes with discipline and that's lacking. See photos for the proof, first photo is when I got the food and second one is 15 minutes down but the butter is as is. Also, since when we decided to put brocoli as a bunch and not flowerettes with d stake? Also, when I asked for sauce, I'm served with Worcestershire sauce, like really? This proves the chefs have fake degree. Was very disappointed at this. Finally my order was changed to Salmon, which was great but came with a lime that had no juice. Guys, I'm a Hard Core HR fan please get your act together, realise that irrespective of your nationality, you carry the responsibility of an International Brand.

The place is TINY, the tables are so close to each other. I asked two waiters to get a different table because the one behind me was so noisy and I didn’t even have enough space to open my chair and the man with the glasses and beard didn’t even bother in asking the hostess, he said no. It was my birthday and I had the worst dinner ever. I was leaving and then the hostess told me there were two available. Still, one on top of each other. Five tables were free the entire time I was there, FIVE! There’s barely enough room to people to walk. I was accidentally hit twice on the back by people who were walking by my side. Food is not that good, expensive for what you get. WORST Hard Rock experience in my life.

Pretty good. Great view. Great location. Prices were high compared to other places in the area. If you need that burger and beer, it's a safe pick.

I really enjoyed my experience in Venice. The place looks amazing, next to the water, where you can peacefully admire a bunch of gondolas! I have been here in the evening ,almost when they were getting ready to close, about 22.30. They serving was very nice! 😊👍

Hard Rock Cafè never fails to deliver excellent service and prepare great cocktails. Since it’s in the center of Venice, seats are rarely available, but there is a gift shop in which you could spend couple of minutes, if you prefer to wait for someone to leave, and get their seats. Bathrooms are always super clean, which is greatly appreciated, and “make up” for the moderate-expensive prices.

Hard Rock Cafe in Venice can get quite busy. For any party larger than 2 make sure you make a reservation at least a day in advance if you want a decent time, or even a couple days before. As a party of two we were able to be seated right away during peak dinner time near that bar but the upstairs was booked. We ordered burgers and overall they were great and what we expected. Oddly enough we noticed that our soft drinks were VERY sweet, sweeter than usual.

portions are small as you can see the personal aint professional and for a coke and a hamburger are bad and the menu doesnt get respected ad you can see there is no lettuce, no tomato and no onion, the waiters are disrespectful. shameful

This was great, the service was excellent! Had a lovely bottle of prosecco with the meal and all the family was happy. We asked for a glass of water for my son as his chicken burger had a hot sauce and it was the first free water of our two week trip in Italy! My youngest son had the kids chicken tenders and they were a good size meal also when the waiter spotted he had downed his drink fast he gave a free refill which again was the first free refill of our Italian holiday. Honestly highly recommended was probably one of the most expensive meals we had out but paid the bill with a smile on my face.

If you’re looking for the classical hard rock cafe experience, this is the wrong place. the meat they use in the burgers are frozen, and the bread was store-bought. the the lemonades and desserts were actually good.

My heart goes out to the staff. So much stuff is happening. It is a rock cafe, so the sounds obvious. The order was quick, and the sizes of the desert in the picture made me smile. I'm so happy to see a big desert true to price instead of the small rip off ones. 100% recommend to come here. Even for a snack.

I don't like food here. Bear is good as coffee. Stuff is great, perfect, location and atmosphere perfect. Great view. I've watching gondoliers, such a pervers, checking out every single lady who boarded the boat with such a lust. American food is junk. Buona giornata, signorina. 🙏🏻😎

I was a bit disappointed. Don't get me wrong. Hard rock cafe is fun, it's known. But compared to other locations it's a bit off. Prices are very high, and the burgers are dry along with the buns. Nachos were awesome.

The staff are super friendly and welcoming and there are some great views of the gondolas as they pick up and drop off their passengers. From a food perspective it is pretty generic. The kids macaroni was a bit too peppery for our kids and the veggie burger was pretty bland and, well, generic. Coffee was OK but didn't blow our socks off like some of the local cafes which were amazing. The staff were great and our server asked us about intolerance and allergies which has to be one of the first times this has happened so thumbs up for that. If I were to sum it up, it's a bit 'meh'. Good views, position and music. Bland and generic food.

Another visit to a HRC in a different city. Always lovely and food is standard fare, but satisfying. The Apple Cobble was delicious and put a warm feeling in the tummy on a cool night. Customer service was fabulous and will visit again on next trip to Venice.

Big fan of the hard rock cafe’s! This one was very good as well. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. We only got some drinks and chicken wings but the food is always a hit. Would recommend a visit although it’s not very italian.

Definitely not my favorite Hard Rock Café and a restricted menu choice (2021&corona) but we had a nice moment here thanks to a motivated and friendly staff. The food as expected: same quality and taste as in the others HRC's. Even the shop at Rialto is tiny; like most of the shops in Venezia...

So nice we went twice! Located in a great spot near the main square. Staff were super friendly and the food was spot on like all HRC’s!

Very nice ad location, but the food isn’t the best, the meat is very dry and without favor. Obviously who come to eat in the restaurant is there just because is an famous place to visiti and to do the experience, but I went to a lot of Hard Rock Cafe , and this is the worst in my point a view . To close must make sure that all the staff is very gentil and very careful!! Thank you and have a nice day

Get 20% off with the interrail pass! Highly recommend to check it out when you are there. My burger was good, but the meat was a bit too tough. My friend is allergic to soy and meat protein so he got a special salad without chicken and dressing and the nice waiter bent over backwards to check every ingredient. 👍 The apple cobbler for dessert was the best part of the evening, the crust was crunchy and the apples sweet and sour.

We ate here in the evening, the food was good and the service was fast and very friendly. We made a reservation online which worked perfectly. It is more on the expensive side, but so is everything in Venice.

Excellent experience. Had ‘The Big Cheeseburger’ It was excellent. Loved it. The staff were friendly, the sitting area is nice as well. The prices are on the expensive side, but the portions are very good. Enjoyed my time there. Would definitely recommend it to others.

The staffs were friendly and helpful as they wanted to help me with the pin from Rialto stores. Also just like usual, loving the atmosphere! The rock shop is right in the entrance area before heading to dining/bar sections. Unfortunately I didn’t had time to eat but I bought some pins (be aware that one in Rialto Bridge has different pins and closing time are also different to this one - for those people who are planning to visit this two places for pins)

The service was great, the bar attender made cocktails that we asked for that weren't on the menu plus took a group photo for us ❤ The food was amazing and the atmosphere was rockin 🤘 I'd go back 1,000 times over again for the service, food and an atmosphere like that any day; Hard Rock Cafe Venice you delivered :)

Service was very friendly and nice. The Food was ok but nothing special. As to be expected in a HRC. Prices were moderate.

Amazing food, the water is seen from the second floor of the restaurant. Loved it!!!

  • 4/5 Mona B. 2 years ago on Google
Food was great. We had to wait for 30-40 mins before we could get a table which was fine since you can walk around in the square. The service was very rushed, it was hard to catch a server and they often didn't look like had much time for the customer.

Great location, friendly staff and the typical Hard Rock cafe burger. Pints are a little bit expensive but, that's the standard in northern Italy

Nice spot, nice view and good food. The ribs were not fall-off-bone this time but it was all right.
