Cipriani is for sure one of the most rated place in Venice. We went on the restaurant for a lunch, took the vaporeto from Doge’s Palace. Sat by the docks, near the swimming pool. The noise of the water, the coolness of the sea. Beautiful set up. Nice experience. The service was adorable, incredibly kind and made sure we had everything needed. However, and even though dishes were nice and tasty (they are, dont get me wrong), I guess I was expecting more from Cipriani : the menu felt a bit disappointed. Too sophisticated in a point you don’t find yourself craving for one dish or another. They’re all either « basics » (like mozzarella, or risotto), or a bit too much. As it is (very) expensive, I would have liked maybe one or 2 dishes that are made with more common ingredients, less in the cliché, less pretentious in the end. Maybe it misses some balance. Not putting 5 stars on this one because of this. Just my personal experience. Also, the access of the pool was restricted, unless you paid… 600€. Not kidding. I understand they want to keep it to the residents. Just say it’s not possible. Don’t say it is, if you pay 600€. It feels shady.

A spectacularly beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, attentive service and an impressive pool. We loved our stay at the Cipriani! There were oodles of tourists in Venice when we were there in July but this hotel was a little slice of heaven. We loved that it was not in the hustle and bustle. We had drinks one evening at the bar and they have a gentleman there with a hawk who makes sure that the pigeons stay away. I could truly not have been more delighted by this! Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone making the trip to Venice.

I spent 2 nights in this magnificent establishment for a Venetian masquerade ball. Our room had a secluded private garden which felt like being home. Everything from the amenities to the food was incredible. But the members of staff is what makes this place so special, the service is exceptional!! I will also not forget their warmth and kind words. 5 stars all the way.

A very special place. Location is perfect - a hidden sanctuary just five minutes boatride away from St Marks square. The hotel and the rooms have a lot of character. Like a village that has grown over time vs. a new development from scratch. Lots of attention to detail like the incredibly maintained hotel garden where vegetables and herbs grow for the hotel restaurants. Our kids loved the Olympic-size hotel pool, which was never crowded in spite of the hotel being full. Staff at the hotel is extremely forthcoming and friendly and will help unlock all the secrets of Venice. It feels like staying with well connected friends from day one. The breakfast buffet is a bit different with a carefully crafted selection of local and ultra high quality products vs. the typical American-style breakfast spread. All three dining options (Michelin-star, pool-side bistro and Venetian restaurant with a view of St Marks) are beautifully set and offer amazing food based on local ingredients and recipes. One could easily stay at the Cipriani for a week without ever leaving the hotel, but then there's Venice...

The one, the only Belmond Hotel Cipriani, the gem of Venice. Not much to say other than this is and will always be the number one hotel in Venice. Don't miss the enormous pool, Master Chef Riccardo Canella's cooking at the Oro Restaurant or the newly renovated Dogaressa Suite by yours truly.

Great food that tantalized my taste buds. Wonderful people who mad me feel at home. Watching the sun go down with before dinner cocktails was priceless. We will definitely return to Cap Juluca and Cips by Cipriani will be our 1st stop.

Still bathing in the wonderful glow that staying at the Cipriani with my daughter gave me, I cannot rate this hotel highly enough, was made to feel very special the moment we stepped off the speed boat that took us there, shown round hotel by the lovely Louis and then to our room, which was amazing as was the view from the balcony over the lagoon, we dined at Cips, the fabulous food and view of the sun setting over St Marks Sq will be a memory to treasure, thank you to every member of staff that made this stay so very memorable

The experience here is truly unforgettable, we had a slight issue with our luggage ( due to airline ) and the concierge was super accommodating and worked to resolve the issue promptly. You will not be disappointed, everything is in the details.

Absolutely stunning hotel. One of the best hotels I have been to. From the charming and classy rooms, to the extremely attentive staff, the belmond cipriani hotel was a 10 out of 10! I would stay there over the Aman or any other hotel in the area. Their breakfast was out of this world. Make sure to go to breakfast. The spread is incredible. They have such good food and it’s a very large buffet. The best and most elegant I have seen. The staff was fantastic. Always remembered us and took care of our needs. My wife dropped her phone in the canals and the staff made sure to find a diver and get the phone back (and it still works after being under water for hours). Roberto was especially attentive to us with this process and i can’t remember the other members of the staff, but they were all so friendly and helpful. The location: while some may fear it’s not in the main area, They have a boat that goes to and from saint Marco square every 10-15 minutes. It was fantastic and so convenient. The bar by the pool was really really nice and charming. The staff was fantastic and the drinks were so good. The bar was so classy. We only tried some the the small bites at the bar area and they were fantastic. Sadly, we did not eat dinner at the restaurant CHIPS. But based on the breakfast spread, I’m sure it is a fantastic restaurant. I highly recommend this belmond hotel over any hotel in venice (and one of the best hotels I’ve been to while traveling — better than other belmond’s I’ve been to). Bravo!

In da history place!! If you’re an honorable customer then the Cipriani is definitely your place. Real 5 stars 🌟, family secured, food extra if you know 🦞 , cigars and cocktails to share with people cool, sometimes too much bankerstraders, and please … it’s an idea for the Manager: why don’t you change your good old taxi boat by a Pershing or Itamare

I have been coming to this hotel for more than ten years now. My absolute favorite hotel in the world. It's not the building, it's the people. They are amazing. Location wise, you are in Venice, but not in Venice. Peace. Tranquility.

Where to start. Belmond Cipriani understands. They get you. The attention to every detail, to make your very wish come true is their one and only goal. The Cipriani is my ❤️ Home away from home. I will never forget my sundrenched experience. Luca, Gabriel, Sarah - everyone made me feel like a complete princess, resplendent and wonderful and for that I will be eternally grateful. The Merry Widow of Venice The Vedova di Venezia. PS I was lucky enough to be amongst the luck few in the Veuve Clicquot Reims Venice 250 year celebration.
