I would highly recommend this place. The food is exceptional. We had the pasta pomodoro and gin and tonic. It was delicious, and there were no hidden charges or fees. They also have free WiFi. We were served by Mokbal Hossain, who was an exceptional host with phenomenal customer service. If you are around the area and in Venice, check it out.

We had a great time at Snack Bar Castello! The view of the street is beautiful, and the food was delicious! If we didn't have a water bus to catch, we wouldn't have left so quickly and had a coffee!

Great food and awesome service. They have gluten-free pizza and pasta (extra 1€ for pasta and 2€ for pizza) and they taste very good Ladies were served first, waitress were very friendly and spoke english without any problem.

She's always smiling and is always happy. She asked detailed questions when taking your order to ensure your order is 100% accurate. Her husband is the chef and every meal was perfection! I'm definitely going back to Snack Bar Costello if I ever make it back to Venice.

Really great food and plenty of options. Gluten free pizza was fantastic and there were plenty of options for pizza/pasta in gluten free. Host/waitress was super friendly. Decent prices and nice area. Amazing cocktails and Irish coffee too!

I highly recommend this place to everybody. The pizza tastes delicious, the waitress is very nice and can speak English well. Prices aren't too high compered to other restaurants. It's open until 00:00 which is pretty late compared to other near restaurants

Suitable for vegetarians. Probably the best place we have eaten at in Venice. Many vegetarian options, which is kinda rare in the city, great drinks for reasonable prices. Very nice and friendly staff, that doesn't bother you unless you need them (which is very much appreciated in Venice). The staff even hands out warm blankets when it gets colder in the evening. Amazing place.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise! Delicious Italian comfort food on this chilly Saturday night. Don’t judge a book by its cover… From the outside you would probably not want to stop by, but trust me what’s inside is what counts and this place delivers! Now, I can only speak for what I had but what I had was excellent!

We went in May, We we’re a group of 5. Had 6 meals in Venice and by far this place was the best. Great atmosphere, ate outside. And the food was fantastic.

Really good food and friendly staff! The restaurant has affordable prices. The menu offers gluten free pizza dough and gluten free pasta. They also have a lot of vegetarian options. My boyfriend ate vegan pizza (without cheese) and I ate gluten free pasta with tomato sauce. Everything was really tasty and the waitress was really nice! I recommend this place, it really is a gem.

I have been here several times during my stay because the owner is such a nice lady, you feel so welcome, and the food is great and cheap for the area. We had pizza, sandwiches and Aperol Spritz and it was really good!

This is a great place! The pizza is great, the bruschetta as well, and the many other dishes they offer. You get a bellini from freshly (!) juiced peaches, which was a delight after the so many disappopintments at other places in Venice. Cabernet Sauvignon on the menu is very nice as well. Thanks again to the very friendly lady that hosted us last week, we will be back!

Lovely setting by the Grand Canal and Garibaldi street in Castello. We went here for three consecutive days during our stay in Venice, tried all different dishes, and never disappointed. This is another family-run business and they cook Italian food very well. I would definitely recommend!

Located 15 minutes walk away from S. Marco, Castello Snack Bar is at a beautiful location with a view of water and yet far enough from the more crowded, touristy, locations. The host was extremely nice, the food is very well priced and absolutely delicious! The quality definitely surprised us but we are very happy we took the leap of faith. Recommended!
