The location is horrible and dark you can see groups of people speaking a language that is not Italian it feels unsafe and scary. There is nothing near the hotel, not even the bus has a stop when returning from Venice I do not recommend going out at night The hotel is gloomy and dull, the staff treats you as if they were doing you a favor, they don't even greet you when you show up in the morning Or come back in the afternoon. Every day is common to see only one person attending the guests Day one waited for more than 10 minutes to be attended and this lady at the reception kept looking back, obviously desperate to finish me off, cutting me off, it felt rude. The day I arrived at the hotel I asked one of the people at the reception for an opinion to go to the train station, she told me that it was very far and that she could call me a taxi for €30, which I considered expensive, I had paid €10 for coming from the station to the hotel. I asked her to tell me how to get to the station no matter how far it was, she told me to leaves the hotel and always walks to the left mistake big mistake ! After walking for 20 minutes there was no way to go on. 2nd day, I asked another girl at the reception for help, her name is Laura or Lara I wanted to buy tickets for the bus. After she did everything on my phone I never received the tickets and when I asked her what else I could do she called another person who suggested me to go to buy them at a place 15-20 minutes from the hotel. The TERRIBLE rooms Water leak in the bathroom, the floor all stained, the shower door does not open properly. The side lamps don't work. The hair dryer shuts off every 5 minutes. The bathroom door doesn't close properly and doesn't open fully either. The breakfast is basic and if something runs out they don't replace it. They do not have natural water in bottles. The last day they didn't even bother to sit me at me at a table and we had to set the tables ourselves while 4 employees were talking at the door. The housekeeper is rude, she doesn't even say hello. The reception bathroom is all stained The seats that are in the canal are dirty. I am very sorry I spent my last days in Italy in this hotel. Just deplorable and depressing. Management should train better the staff this is an hospitality business, guests should feel welcome and this was far away from it.

Definitely recommend this hotel. Staff are very respectful and service is great. Rooms are quite nice and offer excellent air conditioning. The 43 bus that connects to venice is across the street and the T1 train to venice is a 12 minute walk. As well, the pendeva brewery, 2 minutes away offers some excellent food & drinks.

I was staying at the hotel for 3 nights, paying almost $200 a night. I forgot my mask in the room and went to the front desk to ask for a mask Instead of going all the way back to my room. I was told that they have no masks although all the staff are wearing one so I am sure they had a supply just didn't want to bother give one. I went to the other building front desk and she gave me a mask with no problem.

Staff is very nice but AC doesn’t work. They can control the AC from the front desk and even after talking to them, it was really hot in the room and couldn’t sleep well even after a cold shower. Rooms are spacious and clean, and there are food options nearby as well as supermarkets.

I had a three night stay at this hotel and had an enjoyable experience. The hotel is in a good location, it is a 5 minute walk from the tram network that runs straight to the old city of Venice. Despite encountering some issues with my room, the staff were very accommodating and solved my issues immediately. The morning breakfast was good and the local area was quiet.

Excellent whether staying for business or vacation. The room was Spacious , Clean and comfortable with a view to the lagoon. Breakfast was decent and cosy area. Quiet and comfortable. Nearby stores 5 to 10 minutes walk. 20 to 25 minutes walk to downtown. You can catch the public bus (stops 1 minute from the hotel ) to reach Venice tourist old city . Highly recommended

Very good hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are fantastic with high ceilings and the breakfast is more than varied. The only downside was the shower water. It went from cold to hot and back to cold without touching the faucet. Staff is working on it, so it will probably get fixed. The location is fantastic. A three minute walk to the bus stop followed by a ten minute drive to the center of Venice for only €3,- The front desk will inform you about the bus schedule. The hotel can also provide. Private shuttle.

Very modern (for the Venice area) hotel next to the convention center. My only complaint which I reported but was not dealt with for our 3 night stay was the mal-functioning air conditioning control unit, flashed a bright light into the room all night. We put a bag over it so as to not disturb. Breakfast was well presented and varied.

I give two stars, as the room is large and the breakfast is nice. Beside this, this hotel is in the middle of an industrial commercial area, far from Venice and far from the airport. Old fashion style, furnitures look like from the 80s and are in bad shape (see photo’s) In addition, I had the bad luck to have a room on the Main Street, with a broken window; as it could not close properly, I have been “enjoying” the noise of the traffic, late evening and early morning… 1 night at just below €200, I believe there is something wrong!

The hotel is about 25 mins walk from the Venice mestre station and roughly 20 mins via public transit, which sometimes doesn’t even arrive. The staff were friendly. The room was spacious but surprisingly dim and stuffy. The shower did not have enough water pressure. The entirety of the room seems pretty outdated. Breakfast was good though. Overall, it’s hard to believe it’s a 4 star hotel.

This hotel is the best so far if i compare it with others i stayed in Italy (Pisa & Rome). The service was good. Breakfast was very good with good number of options. I liked the rooms as well. There is sitting area outside the hotel. Its quiet and you can relax.

Theresa in breakfast service was outstanding: She performed beyond all expectations and made our day - everyday! Grazie mile! Location is great to experience Venice and rooms are quiet. Our room exceeded our expectations by size and installations.

The hotel is beautiful and extremely big. Lavish rooms and receptions. Great amenities, except a super slow wifi. Wifi only worked in the hotel lobby, it was super duper slow in the room. Room had a tiny refrigerator with water bottles in it. For a room that accommodated two people there was only one power socket that was working. We had two laptops and two phones to charge, we had to take out the refrigerator connection and plug in our mobile chargers. It looked like it was great boast and little host. Bathroom and toilet supplies were really nice. We didn’t include breakfast as we had to leave early morning, location is nice. Just 20 min from Marco Polo airport and 10 min walking from the Stazione.

It's around 15 min of walking distance from the train station. Rooms are big, bed is comfortable, but it lacks of amenities. Also, there was water leaking from the ceiling in the room the whole night. Staff at the reception was nice, they did everything what they were able to do. It was hard to find the room. I checked in in one part of the building, then they sent me to other building, where I took a key at other reception. That was confusing.

The hotel itself was pretty ok, but the thing that kind of ruined it for me was the terrible shower we got. It made you chose either extremely hot or extremely cold, and the pressure was as terrible, there was almost no water coming out of it. The reason I’m so mad about the showers is because when we were in venice for 2 days, we were walking around 40 thousand steps a day, so we had to shower atleast 2 times in one day.

Rooms are large. Stayed with family and with extra space it felt nice. However, the hotel needs some serious maintenance. Rooms are old and floor paraquet is coming off at various places. Bathrooms get flooded after showers. While we went out sight seeing, room was not cleaned up, neither the towels were replaced. Ac takes long time to cool.overall we were a bit disappointed with service.

This room was great, the best we’ve had on our Italian trip. The staff was friendly and the bus stop to take you to Venice island was right in front of the hotel. My only frustration was the poor wifi quality, which made it difficult to map out our days and the AC unit never really cooled down our room

The hotel rooms were clean and more spacious than anticipated (I got the standard room with a double bed). The service was excellent EXCEPT for the check-out process. I want to caveat by saying the receptionists were phenomenal and kind and did the best they could with chaos, but there is no reason a checkout process should ever take 40 minutes to checkout of a hotel and get into a taxi. It's a good thing I scheduled my train and flight far ahead of time, or we would've surely missed our flight. If you're staying here, bite the bullet and check out as early as possible. To the hotel executive management, if this is your regular checkout process at 11am. on Sunday, hire some additional help for those poor receptionists. For the price and proximity to Venice, not a bad stay overall. Side note: Please refill the cleaner in the gym to wipe down equipment and fix the lighting gym bathroom.

The check-in experience was good and the receptionist was very nice. Breakfast really could have been better. They had a weird selection of bread but I liked that they’ve included some local specialties and the coffee was good. Especially the bathrooms could really use some maintenance and as all the other reviews state, you totally flood it when you shower. In our second night we discovered some kind of small ants in our bed. I confronted the receptionist with it and she switched our room and apologized. The bus connection to and from Venice is good. I wouldn’t recommend buying a 24h ticket for public transport as it’s much more expensive than to pay every ride individually. For us it was 1,50€ p.p. to go into the city. All in all not a bad experience but I expected a lot more to be honest. Especially for the price.

Loved the hotel- very friendly and helpful staff! Close to bus stop. Rooms clean but check a/c.. ours did not work. They did provide fans. Would recommend anyway!! Convenient location to restaurants and grocery

The hotel rooms seem to have a lack of maintenance and could really use a refurbishment, especially the bathroom. The beds are very comfortable to sleep in and the rooms are quite big and very spacious. The breakfast was nothing special but it did the job. The location is obviously not in Venice but right outside and relatively easy to access, if you walk around 500 meters, then there’s a bus that goes to Venice in roughly 15 minutes.

The rooms we had was bigger than we expected. It was very nice and clean. The location is very good there is a bus near the hotel to Venice and it was 10 min ride.

It's ok. This hotel has a good location away from all the crowd , noise and smells an tian busy city can have . Only a few minutes away from little plazas full of shops and restaurants . The hotel staff is very friendly and will deliver service as a hotel should . The rooms are spacious for EU accomodations - the only problem i found was the room outlets don't work , the refrigerator and AC were also busted , making me open the window and finding myself at 2am fighting mosquitoes . The hotel restaurant does deserve an applause . The food is so delicious you want to eat all 7 course meals Italians eat - but again, the region of benetto everywhere you eat is delicious .

Big hotel in Mestre belonging to the well known chain of hotels. Just out of the city, having big rooms and really very big beds but no other amenities as in other hotels of the chain. Still rooms need revamping and we also had some problems with the electrical fuses. Personnel gentle and friendly, but price wise the hotel , for what it offers , is extremely expensive , since in the already high price , breakfast and parking were not included.

I have to say that I expected little bit more from NH Hotel as this hotel chain has a very good reputation. Also, the price was not cheap. The worst thing about my stay was the room temperature. The lowest possible temperature you can set was 25 degrees which was very uncomfortable for me (for someone from middle Europe). I had to sleep with the window open which meant that my room was full of mosquitos. The bed was not comfortable. It was too soft. Other strange thing was the number of light switches where half of them did not work. Was not able to understand how it works. The rooms could be cleaner. I better did not use the glasses in the room as the were dirty. The breakfast was amazing. The staff at hotel reception was also very friendly.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel! Everything to expect from a 4 star hotel. Quiet area with great little local restaurants within walking distance. The hotel wait staff is very pleasant and welcoming. The front desk staff are very courteous, welcoming and ressourful! I wish I can remember all their names ! Laura at the front desk is spectacular! She is efficient, responsif, kind, knowledgeable and on point with her recommendations, extremely smooth and classy. She represents the NH brand very well and I'll argue even elevates it! The bedrooms are clean and comfortable! I wish there was bigger pillows but that is just me being a little capricious. I truly recommend this location especially if you do not wish to be submerged with foreign tourism!

Nice stuff. +- location. it's not 4stars. You hav nothing nothing in mini bar, rooms service are ok, but the rooms are unattended,so... Conference place is disaster,it's like 2 coffee machine for 100ets off people, line line line. No place to eat the lunch, just no space... It was worst conference experience on my 20 last years

Johnny Hamd here, coming to you all from Texas with another g-report! Today I am reviewing the NH Venezia Laguna Palace, at which my partner and I recently stayed. It was a very odd experience, to say the least. The hotel exterior is a very impressive building, large and hulking like a death star, but the interior underwhelms in equal measures and looks like it was designed by a stormtrooper! If you like lots of cold stone finishes, zero artwork on the walls, and cleaning carts left in hallways for days on end, this might be the hotel for you. Also, if you stay here, don't make the mistake of bringing any clothes to iron, lest you be directed to visit the 'ironing room', which is the stuff of night terrors. It is also the one room that hundreds of hotel guests have to use to share the use of a single iron. You know, efficiency. Our room was spacious, which was nice. But it smelled heavily of smoke for the duration of our stay. (We would have changed rooms, but learned from other guests that the whole hotel had just been sprayed for bedbugs, and that this might be the source of the problem. So, we decided more chemicals in the air was better than less!) it was also drab--very likely the ugliest hotel room I've ever been in--and I've stayed in towns as small as Kalamazoo! There was a full kitchenette which, bizarrely, was completely empty. Not even a coffeemaker to be found. Good counter space to leave stuff on, though. So, overall, just an 'okay'. Not a complete tire fire, but not worth a revisit.

We stayed for 3 nights and was really enjoyable. As all the NH hotels, the room was comfortable and well equipped and the staff was kind. It is well located, near good restaurants and in front of a bus stop that takes you to Venice. We would definetely come back!

Great experience overall! The hotel is great, I was actually very impressed by the high quality customer service and guidance provided by Sara and Laura. They went the extra mile and explained me and my family how to move around Venice. The best part is that they are able to talk different languages!

This is our 3rd time in this hotel, we always had very nice experience, but this time was really very bad, they took us to the 2nd tower, which is old and dirty, the towels are dirty and some have holes on it (as the picture below), the carpet and the curtain are dirty, a dead mosquito on the bedsheet (below in the picture) ,although we paid the same price of the new rooms, really disappointing! We arrived at 12:00 in the night, group of 8 people and kids, it was not possible to go and search for another hotel, we called the reception, they apologized and said sorry without changing anything to a better situation! So we started the first day of our vacation in such a bad place!

Visited for a long weekend. Room/ bedding was clean and comfortable. There was a wide variety of options for breakfast. Staff were very friendly. The only negatives were the height of the bathtub, you have to be cautious entering and leaving. The hallway carpeting was musty.

This hotel is a conference centre too and has 2 parts to it; building A and building B. We entered via building A but was told our room is in building B. So we had to walk around the marina to collect our keys from building B. I also wanted to use the gym which unfortunately is in building A. Parking is convenient and underground and has many spaces but again make sure you know which building you are staying at first. Otherwise you'll be walking a lot. Room was clean, bed was comfortable but could do with refurbishment. Shower pressure was weak so was the air con. Could do with being colder and airflow stronger. Would only go as far down as 21 deg C. Breakfast had lots of options and more than enough for a morning meal. No major issues to mention. I would stay here again if i was driving.

Consistent with NH hotels in other Europe cities. Clean, comfortable, well equipped rooms. Only stayed one night so didn't use any facilities but a colleague had breakfast and said put was well priced with good selection. Staff friendly and very helpful.
