Honestly this hotel kind of sucks. The desk people were apathetic, and I was never offered help with bags or any early check in whatsoever. I also called ahead to try to get a shuttle and was told that 9:30 was too early for them to some get me. Additionally, every time I was at the front desk it took 5 minutes for them to help me (they usually prioritized talking to another employee or answering the phone instead of helping me). What’s more the shuttle costs 15 Euro to take you less than 2 kilometers. Might as well take a cab for that price. Rooms are also small and you could hear someone sneeze two rooms away. Finally, the hot water is not a consistent temperature so showers are unpleasant at times. Overall, this place is a disappointment and certainly doesn’t meet expectations given its price and 4 star rating. I would recommend staying in the Marriott down the street, there you might at least get an actual 4 star hotel treatment.

I recently stayed at the Venice Resort, which is rated four stars, but I'm quite puzzled by how it earned that rating. My experience with the room was less than satisfactory. The small room had a bed that wasn't sturdy at all, as the mattress frame kept coming off the solid metal platform, causing one corner of the bed to sink in. Furthermore, the front desk representative didn't come across as very friendly during my stay. On a positive note, the hotel is conveniently close to the airport and offers a shuttle service, which is a definite plus for travelers. However, I couldn't help but feel that the Venice Resort is overpriced and overrated when compared to a beachfront view luxury suite hotel room in Lignano. In my opinion, it falls short of the expectations associated with a four-star rating.

Excellent location. 3-4 mins drive to the airport. However, the room was very hot. It said online that there is air conditioning but we were told that it’s turned off in winters. We went in 3rd week in October so it wasn’t really winters. In fact the heating was on which wasn’t easy to turn off. You couldn’t open the window as there were bugs. No elevator to the first floor. You need to carry the bags and no one helped. The lady on night duty was very helpful. She arranged a fan for us and went out of the way to help.

We were pleased with our stay at the Venice Airport Resort, arriving a day early it was close to the airport and we were to meet the bus to Trieste to our cruise ship the next morning. Comfortable room, courteous and helpful staff, breakfast in the morning was super.

Very clean and quiet location near VCE airport. Well appointed room. I had a single with small bed. Front desk was another matter. No one present for check-in. I rang the desk bell repeatedly with no response. Called the hotel phone with no response. Finally, after 30 minutes a fellow arrived quite quite clueless. Upside, their PAID airport shuttle service runs whenever needed.

Venice resort was OK, we only stayed one night before our departure so can't comment too much! Check in was relatively trouble free, another family was checking in before us and felt a little like the management didn't care too much as no one aplogised for the delay and wasn't a 'welcome' like in other resorts. Had a breakfast which was a choice of cold items but also available was scrambled eggs, bacon and toast along with jams and juices, tea and coffee which was nice enough. Note: This is the only food they provide! If you require dinner then there are a few other places up the road that are worth checking out and are very reasonably priced. The double bed we had was large and comfortable on the upper floor and the two teens shared a sofa bed which they said was comfortable enough. Quite a peaceful night's sleep until (we presume) another family were leaving to catch a plane and were quite noisy at 3AM. Not the hotels fault but maybe the rooms walls are a little thin? Our flight wasn't until much later in the evening so we checked out (11am) and were allowed to store our luggage and have full use of the pool for the whole day at no extra cost which was brilliant of them. Also available was a toilet and changing room for us to use and we purchased some fizzy drinks from the bar. When we left to catch the plane, we at first thought we should just walk to the airport (20 mins walk) but decided to take the Venice Resort shuttle bus as it was hot and luggage was heavy. The shuttle bus cost us four 25 Euros which we thought was way too expensive considering it literally too less than 5 minutes and we weren't even dropped off near the airport entrance, just in the middle of the car park, presumably if the vehicle stays in the car park for any longer than a certain time, they will be charged, so we felt very rushed.

Cozy hotel near the airport. We've been given a room with a bathroom for people with wheelchair access needs which I did not expect. When showering, water leaks on every side of the enclosure because there was no shower plate and the rubber edges are old. I particularly asked the hotel through chat (Booking.com) to help us make our stay memorable as this is an anniversary trip. The bathroom ruined it. Breakfast is good and lots of choices but don't be late because there are no more refills after 9am.

Beautiful resort just a couple of minutes from the airport. Great breakfast. The staff is nice and helpful. Unfortunately the single room was not comfortable at all. Incredibly small, with big furniture, felt very claustrophobic. Shower was very tight, I’m not overweight and I could barely fit in it. Unbelievably loud as it is near the metal staircase and could hear people up and down until midnight. Also had to kill a few bugs in the room :/

The Hotel Venice Resort Airport hotel was the perfect way to end our trip. The comfortable beds, good water pressure and reasonable rates were a bonus. We were able to relax and enjoy a day by the private pool. Deena, at the front desk was very professional. We called on short notice to request to come stay an extra night at the resort and she promptly took care of booking us in. She was there to greet us at 11:30pm and was welcome and friendly. The next day we ordered a couple glasses of prosecco on the terrace & she kindly served us, accompanied with some salty snacks. Thank you Hotel Venice and especially Deena for a seamless stay at your resort!

Didn't pick up from the airport as arranged by my travel agent, turkey behind the desk arrogant as, room not ready, no milk for coffee, only 2 coffee sachets, not enough plugs in the room. The good points are pool area nice, outside bar but very limited. Morning staff member behind the desk very polite, nice breakfast.

If you are in need of a place close to the airport this place is close, clean, has an outdoor pool and is within walking distance of the airport if you have no luggage and don't mind walking for 15 minutes. A portion of the walk does not have a sidewalk for 400 meters or so.. 1Km walk in total.

We stayed for one night- the two Italian staff members at the reception were not very interested in being nice or helpful. The room had a weird smell and the ceiling was quite disgusting (dirty, full of dust and some insects). The pool was very nice, however half of the sun beds were broken. The location close to the airport is convenient, but we found it ridiculous how much the hotel charges for airport transfer (1.5km and 3 min ride for 15€). You would expect more from a 4* hotel and the price they charge for a night.

This hotel is very convenient to the airport with 24 hour shuttle service available for a fee. We needed to be picked up at 4:15am, and they were there a few minutes early. The airport is only about a five minute ride away. Our hotel room was spacious and comfortable. There is a nice pool and sitting areas at the hotel. There are also a number of restaurants just a couple of blocks away, easy walking distance.

I think this is one of Venices best kept secrets. Absolutely lovely, peaceful, modern yet posses old world charm. I would go back there anytime.

If you need to stay close to Venice Airport, this is a great choice. Not great value for money, but compared to many of the alternatives the price is acceptable. Walkable from the airport, around 10-15 minutes. Italian breakfast, but have scrambled eggs and bacon for those in heed.

There are 2 blocks. This one is b&b. Near to airport but 40 euro taxi ride into Venice. You can get a bus ticket and most drivers will sell them on the bus, however others refuse and direct you to online site. Go to nearby Best Western hotel who sell tickets and various options. There is no lift so you'll be carrying your cases on your own if you are unlucky and get the worst receptionist I have ever encountered.

Not too bad of a Hotel, really close to the Airport and Roads to get where you need. Rooms are ok and this resort pretty actually. Only one issue with the Shower... Water mix in not syncro, which means that upon taking a hotwater shower cold water is shooting out every 4-5 seconds and then you burn yourself with the hot water... hard to adjust the proper temp. it either HOT or Cold ...

Great hotel if you need to stay near the airport. The rooms are not big but clean. There is no shuttle if you land late at night - It is a porblem to take a taxi for less then 2 kilometres. We had to walk to the hotel.

Maybe I wish I could give 4.5 stars... the breakfast was very nice, staff were all great, everything was so clean and comfortable, pool was beautiful, grounds were lovely. The only things keeping it from being perfect were the shower head which would not stay pointing at one's body and the fact that the dinnertime restaurant was not necessarily available when advertised. If we had known that going in, we could have avoided the loss of 2-3 valuable hours sleep. Otherwise it was wonderful and while 30 minutes away from Venice, so very convenient to the airport.

Very nice airport hotel. I was doubtful about it, and was very pleasantly surprised - its clean, close to the airport, nice pool and decent breakfast. We stayed in the 2- level room that sleeps 4 and it was very good.

We had a great experience staying at the Hotel Venice Resort. Very clean, beautiful high ceilings & romantic shuttered windows. Ask for John (concierge) who is the most interesting & intelligent man, a joy to talk with! He was absolutely friendly and very helpful in regards to navigating Venice. His advice & directions are excellent! Good breakfast in the morning and if you use the shuttle, be sure to be kind to your driver (super nice man!)

The hotel is nice, clean and the staff are friendly. The rooms are basic but do the job. There is a couple restaurants and a pharmacy in the immediate vicinity but nothing else. Venice or any other sights are a good bus / taxi ride away. It is on a busy main road that you can hear in the rooms and you can hear the airport when the flights start at 4am but its not excessively loud. The pool and outdoor areas were clean and well presented. Great WiFi coverage all across the site! Breakfast consists of soft bread rolls & fruit pastries, a yoghurt and a tea or coffee, no meats or anything warm (or cold) Overall - its good for the airport (0.7 miles away) and good for short stays / overnight before traveling to the airport or onto your main destination. I dont think I could do a long stay here, its too far from the main attractions / sights.

excellent experience!! stayed overnight to catch an early morning flight. The staff at the reception desk was very friendly even after our late arrival (at 10 pm) + organized shuttle for us the next morning. They even prepared a full breakfast at 4:30 am!!! highly recommend to everyone! :)

good location close to the airport of you for some reason need to be in this area. Pool area is nice, room is comfortable and clean. bathroom smells moldy and shower was hard to use. breakfast is terrible, and staff was somewhat unhappy to be asked to make cappuccinos for us. on the whole, this is not a 4 star establishment.

The staff was very unfriendly (no greeting, arrogant appearance, passive-aggressive response to questions, ...) There was no toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving kit, shampoo (only bodywash) in the room. The entrance lighting was on all night and shone brightly into the room (curtains far too small). The room was small, the temperature of the shower water changed while showering. The whole experience was not worth 2 stars and especially not 4 stars they advertise. (Also advertising with a pool that is closed most of the year is misleading in my opinion).
