This is a very lovely park to go for a nice walk or have a picnic. It’s very well kept, there are several monuments, water fountains, statues, paths and benches to take a break on. I would definitely recommend talking a nice stroll in this lovely park.

Ciao, guys! La Bienalle della Venezia was conforming with Covid regulations, the staff was very nice, the place clean, not crowded and nicely & easily organized. Coffee & snack places all around, with affordable prices. I drank crema della caffee as a dalgona frozen coffee and ate a pita sandwhich Romana. The exhibitions are unique and representative to each country, but you have to be knowledgeable. The atmosphere is quiet, relaxing and there are romantic gardens for a quick relaxing moment and a nap in the summer breeze. The ticket for students was 16 euros and we had to show our Green Passes. Enjoy!

Stepped into a world of beauty, though art's not my scene, Yet, this place captured my heart, it was truly serene. Not the biggest fan of architecture, but here's my bet, If that's your love, it's the best you can get. Spent an entire day wandering, still couldn't see it all, The exhibition's vastness held me in thrall. Took a break with a small meal, in the café's cozy nest, The restaurant looked inviting, but it was taking a rest. Although it was closed, didn't dampen our day, The visit was worth it, in every way. A word of advice for a summer time visit, Bring mosquito repellent, or they'll have a feast fit. Came home with ten bites, an unexpected souvenir, Don't let that deter you, just come prepared, have no fear. So when you're scrolling Google Maps, looking for a sight, Remember this place, where every corner brings delight.

Interesting to see what each country has come up with at their stands. It's a bit abstract at times and not for everyone. The buildings themselves look interesting and there is a lot to see. The bathrooms could stand to be improved however.

Highly recommend! Eye opening & inspiring exhibition! Loved the guided tour. It takes time to see everything better to come earlier in the morning and be ready to do some breaks in between. Food & drinks options were very good. Better to order a ticket online 25€. Standing in line may take 30min.

The Giardini della Biennale is a captivating and enchanting place within the context of the Venice Biennale. These beautiful gardens serve as the main exhibition venue for the International Art Exhibition and provide a unique atmosphere for exploring contemporary art. The lush greenery, combined with the various national pavilions and their distinct architectural designs, creates a stimulating environment for art enthusiasts. Walking through the gardens, visitors have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of artistic expressions and cultural perspectives from around the world.

The place to be for modern art. It's only 6 months every two years, but there is so much to see here that it will take you days to go through it. There's no other such vast collection of contemporary art works, anywhere else in the world. And whilst you will not agree with everything there, you will be certain to find some food for your eyes, ears, and thoughts.

Biennale di Venezia at Giardini is one of the best modern art exhibition i have ever visite in the world! Countries have their own buildings as pavilions there, and so many talented artist are represented! It is mind blowing and always surprising! I have been there twice so far and can't wait to visit this place again! Thank you for creating art spaces as Giardini della Biennale 🙏

Giardini della Biennale is an architectural wonder that offers a captivating showcase of diverse countries' unique architectural styles. This enchanting garden, brimming with pavilions from around the world, is beautifully designed and serves as a cultural and artistic haven. Exploring the various pavilions is a delightful journey through global architecture, each structure revealing the essence of its home country. The overall experience is both educational and visually stunning, providing an opportunity to appreciate the rich tapestry of global architectural innovation and design. Giardini della Biennale is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking to broaden their architectural horizons and enjoy a beautifully curated cultural experience.

The Giardini is a delightful venue, with the national pavilions scattered around like follies in an idyllic Venetian backdrop. The entrance to the exhibition is a short walk from the 'Giardini' vaporetto stop. While the design of the pavilions themselves are primarily mid century Modern, the assemblage nevertheless exudes a Venetian sensibility. The entire area is moderately sized - if you are interested in viewing the Biennale exhibitions housed within each pavilion in detail, be prepared to spend the better part of a day at this location. Highlights are the Nordic Pavilion and the Scarpa-designed Venezuelan pavilion.

Biennale is one of most interesting events in Venice. I must admit I didn’t like all the exhibits but it’s always great to see many different examples of art pieces, especially located in such an incredible place. Definitely worth visiting

Architectural Biennale in Venice. The part in the Giardini consists of country exhibitions in their pavillons. Some being very innovative but some like Germany rather frugal (1st picture). Though the Giardini seem somehow nicer than the years before they still need a lot of renovation!

Truly worth a visit. A ticket will get you into this AND the Arsenale. I slightly preferred this exhibition to the one in the Arsenale. The main exhibition (2022) is great, and the country pavilions have a lot to offer too. It's huge, so don't try to see everything - focus on what interests you!

  • 5/5 Sebastian W. 1 year ago on Google
With its pavilion concept, Giardini offers a unique experience. You can "close off" with the individual exhibits when you're done. The idea of miniature museums is superficially represented here. It's always a lot of fun to pilgrimage between countries and stay in the shade. Each time, the rooms are used anew by the artists in their own special way. It is and remains one of the best places for contemporary art. If go way beyond the exhibition there is a small garden where you can buy food and sit down to make a little picnic.

It’s a super beautiful area. The area is full of history with different old, historic and new pavilions. There are sufficient small cafes to get coffee inbetween. The area is well kept and not too expensive for Venice. You can enjoy yourself with art and history and Mediterranean nature. What do you want more?

Love art? Treat yourself to a visit to the Venice Biennale. In 2022 it ran from Apr-Nov - you’ve 2 years to save for the next one in 2024. Giardini is a huge garden full of pavilions housing artists from different countries. Lots of cafe/bar areas and just outside, near the Vaporetto station (water bus) - cafes and viewpoints for the best sunset. There’s more to see at nearby Arsenale and at galleries across Venice.

We went to the ticketed Venice Biennale art exhibits held in the pavilion. The garden is beautiful and a great respite from Venice. Wonderful views along the waterfront. The art exhibits were fun but a little too edgy for my taste. It is fun to ride the vaporetto back since you can get a seat and I recommend line 1 and riding back to the train station so you get a trip through the entire Grand Canal. Be sure to sit on the right if possible for better views of St. Marks.

Venice Bienalle is one of the most eye opening experiences. The work on show is diverse. It takes place between this venue and Arsenale and over the years has presented groundbreaking work from artists all over the world. Fantastic bookshops, cafes and restaurants to stop in- the Bienalle is vast and takes a long time to see. Probably most crowded on weekends but usually very busy.

As always, a great place for architects, artists and art appreciators to showcase their work and get inspired by others. I suggest spending at least 4 hours here to comfortably see all the pavilions. The exhibitions close at 6pm so time you visit accordingly. The central restaurant is reasonably priced and will fuel you to spend more time here.

If you know London, it's like Jubilee Gardens at Embankment. But more tranquil as it's the italian end of the island. But for a good view of San Marco and Giudecca then it's worth the walk. From here you can take a back streets walk to the Arsenale and then back through to Sam Marco itself.
