What a pleasant and unique stay! First of all, I have to say that the design of the hotel made by the famous architect Patricia Urquiola is stunning, I love the choice of the furniture, the colors and all details. I had a warm welcoming and felt very comfortable in the environment straight away, the room was beautiful and spot on. Everyone was very friendly and attentive to deliver the best service. Luxury is a matter of details: we were looking for the dining room for breakfast and a very kind hotel porter showed us the way, a few hours later, this gentleman saw us walking towards the exit, came to see us interrupting what he was doing, just to ask how breakfast was, it means that our satisfaction was his first priority, and even at this level, we do not always experience this kind of attention and care. As there was the possibility we had the chance to have a late checkout. Before leaving the “Ca’ di Dio”, we decided to have a drink in the area between the lobby and the restaurant, in my opinion, the most beautiful room in the Hotel. This last experience was the cherry on the cake, Marco, with his incredible enthusiasm and smiley eyes, advised us on the best cocktails and explained everything about the bar concept. On our way out to say goodbye to Venice, Marco brought us, and even our luggage, to the transport in front of the hotel for the last goodbye and see you soon, this gesture was the highlight of our whole stay because we saw it was made with his heart. Working in hospitality is a matter of passion, and we’ve seen it in every employee, which is very rare! The only area where I would focus to make a little improvement is food: room dining is not necessarily in line with the rest of the offer. Concerning breakfast: the presentation of the dishes was not as creative as we would expect and even the offer in general improvable. But after less than a year of opening, things are surely still “in the process”.

The airport to hotel commute was the best we could have imagined: hop on a boat, hop off the boat and walk 20 meters to the hotel. We came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and were amazed by the great service we received: free room upgrade, and even a surprise birthday cake for breakfast! Special thank you to breakfast room waitress Anna who was extremely helpful and welcoming with us during the stay! Will definitely come back.

Spectacular service, beautiful location and grounds. We were surprised by how quiet it was in our room and when we entered the hotel. They’ve done such a great job of creating an oasis away from the hustle on the street out front. Every detail was carefully thought of in the design of the spaces and how the staff interact with guests. We felt so welcomed and cared for from arrival to our 5am departure where they arranged a water taxi to the hotel and sent us away with a breakfast bag of delicious snacks for our journey. We will be back for sure.

Possibly one of the best hotels I have stayed in. We were upgraded to a larger room as soon as we checked in which was a great start to the day, considering everywhere you look in the room is immaculately finished and polished with comfortable fluffy beds and modern luxurious bathrooms. Service all around is exquisite from the wonderful bar where we were greeted and served by Diego with his generous tips and suggestions on the city to the lovely spa! Its a hidden gem in the heart of Venice. I would come back again and again!!!

Very lovely and modern boutique hotel with great service and spacious rooms. The food in both breakfast and a la carte restaurant are delicious. The staff was very helpful especially Anna from breakfast who provided top service to our family. The location is definitely not in the center of things but more than manageable. It's just couple of extra minutes walk to the main attractions compared to the hotels which are near the Piazza San Marco.

We had a wonderful stay at Ca' di Dio. One of our best experience and memories in Italy! The staff are super friendly and helpful. We booked two massage sessions for each of us and it was fantastic. Thanks to the amazing therapist Teodora :) We would definitely stay at Ca' di Dio next time when we visit Venice again!

Wow! I can't believe how lucky we were to book Ca' di Dio for two nights during our stay in Venice. The hotel is brand new and exquisite in every way. Our suite was extremely comfortable and luxurious, with a lovely view of the internal courtyard which was very peaceful. The staff made us feel very looked after and were extremely helpful with helping us make restaurant reservations. There is even a complimentary shuttle boat service to the islands of Murano and Burano which really was the highlight of our stay. If you're looking to make your trip a once in a lifetime experience I highly recommend staying at Ca' di Dio.

We stayed here to celebrate my birthday and attend the Biennale and for both this was a perfect choice—ideally situated to visit all the art (especially so with the heatwave when we visited) and then escape back to relax over drinks at the bar before getting ready for dinner. The staff was friendly, relaxed, professional and thoughtful in all they did during our stay. The location is easy for water taxi access, as well as walks to other parts of Venice, and the hotel itself is gorgeous. We sat happily in the garden for breakfast, in the bar cooling over aperitivo each day and when it finally cooled enough for us to enjoy sitting out front, the view and people-watching are perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more to enjoy our visit to Venice. They made it all easy and lovely. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay and wanted to highly recommend this hotel. If your looking for a beautiful designed hotel with amazing service, this is the place to go! Also, the gin and tonic drinks at the bar are a must!

(Translated by Google) Wonderful experience! Entering immediately you can see the care and refinement of every detail. The cloister is a real gem, an oasis of peace, reserved and welcoming where we enjoyed a delicious cocktail proposed by the staff of the Alchemia Bar. Special thanks to G.M Monsieur Christophe Mercier who, as an excellent host, invited us to visit this beautiful hotel. (Original) Esperienza meravigliosa!

Absolutely stunning hotel. The rooms are so nice and comfortable. Staff are world class and so helpful. We missed a flight and lost our suitcase and they really helped us so much. Could not ask for a better service.

Everything about this place is 5-star: location, comfort, amenities, staff, food… We were there for the New Year’s Eve celebration and couldn’t have chosen a better place. We had a lagoon-view suite and the fireworks at Giudecca by our windows, not to mention the breathing views. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade pastries and fresh products. Staff always attentive to every need you could have. A real gem!

From the moment we were greeted by hotel personnel on the hotel's private dock as we arrived in our water taxi to the moment we left with a hug from the Concierge as we were boarding our water taxi to the airport, our stay at the Ca' di Dio was superb! The staff at this hotel is amazing - everyone was so helpful and went out of their way to make reservations, guide us in our travels & attend to all of our needs. The location is perfect with beautiful views of the Canal Grande with a short walk to San Marco Square (or Vaporetto ride with the pick up spot right out front), the restaurant & bar are both fantastic, the morning breakfasts are amazing and the rooms, hotel lobby & other spaces are beautifully designed & spacious. We felt like royalty during our 6 night stay - it was perfect and made our stay in Venice a wonderful experience!

Great service. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. They definitely go out of their way to make you feel at home. We stayed one night and totally regret not having a chance to enjoy this beautiful hotel. Supposedly it was a home centuries ago, then it became a senior home for the elderly and now, a hotel. They did suck a great job with the decor. Absolutely beautiful.

Hands down the best hotel I have stayed in while in Europe. The hotel is a short walk from all major sites while being far enough away from the crowds to feel quiet and secluded. The rooms are stunning and the views of the city and the lagoon are incredible. Service in the hotel is by far its best feature, staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else while in Venice!

We spent three nights at Ca Di Dio and it was a fabulous overall experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, the location is perfect (in my opinion), i.e. walking distance from many of Venice’s principal attractions but away from the madding crowds. The staff were extremely helpful, and the food was excellent. If you’re looking for understated elegance then this is the place to stay.

The hotel is an excellent place to stay in Venice. Great location - close to major attractions yet also not completely in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Felt like a nice place for us to go and get away after a few hours out and about. Breakfast is fantastic! One recommendation - make the signage better - we had a little difficulty finding the hotel the first time. It also seemed that the Hyatt app (where we booked the hotel) had the location slightly off. Not much - but enough that it made it a bit difficult.

Beautiful hotel with a fantastic view, the staff is so kind, especially Marco that made me feel comfortable and made me try his famous Americano. I loved the room and the bar service in the terrace.

This is the best hotel in which we have ever stayed. The building itself is fabulous, a wondeful base from which to explore Venice. Even more importantly, the staff are uniformly welcoming, gracious, charming, and helpful. Ca' di Dio is clearly an up-market hotel, but all guests are treated with equal attention and courtesy. They are able to help you with restaurant choices and bookings, places to see and how to get there, and generally organise your stay. We could not have asked for more - even the sun was shining! We plan to return as soon as we possibly can and cannot recommend the hotel highly enough.

It’s a beautiful hotel and quiet. I did have water, air conditioning, room service and taxi issues. The water issue was fixed within a few hours and the hotel kindly offered many concessions for the room service issues. But the air conditioning is a problem as it’s does not go below 68 degree Fahrenheit unless reset by front desk (each day of stay). Lastly, as I booked through Expedia not through the site I was reminded more than once. Everyone is very kind though. Extremely. The VERO restaurant is beautiful and an asset to the hotel. .

Our family of 2 adults and 2 children had an absolutely amazing time at Ca Di Dio. It’s the complete package of comfort, beauty and amazing service. The whole hotel is filled with beautiful Murano glass from the lighting to the cups. But what elevated the experience was the fantastic service, esp. from Ivan - he helped us with everything, from logistics to advice on where to shop and where to eat. Thank you so much!!

Amazing 5 night stay in March. All of the staff go above and beyond to be friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are excellent, one of the most comfy beds I've ever slept in. Rooms are nice and spacious and well equipped, and serviced twice a day meaning you always had a nicely made bed and fresh towels The breakfast is also great, so much choice and the food is top quality. If there's something you fancy that's not on the buffet the kitchen will cook it for you. We also ate at Vero restaurant one evening and it was excellent. The fillet steak was one of the best I've ever had, and I spend a lot of time eating steaks so that's high praise from me! Also the (silver) service was excellent as always at Ca di Dio. It was my birthday during our stay and without any prompting from my other half, we returned to the room to find a cake and a happy birthday note from the staff, such a nice touch! 100% a 5 star stay all round, and we will definitely stay here again if we ever return to Venice.

A great place for a pleasant stay in Venice. Especially nice is the hotel garden. Something exceptional. The service is excellent. Many thanks to Ivan for taking care of everything. Breakfast is good. Just a bit unusual not to have cheese and ham for self service and in terms of atmosphere a bit hectic. The hotel restaurant is a good place to have dinner. Great food and very friendly service. All in all I highly recommend the hotel if you are seeking a great hotel with excellent service in a modern and clean environment.

Dear reader, I honestly do not know where to start when it comes down to this lovely Place… saying that it’s great & fantastic, really is an understatement. The moment you walk in the hotel you get this warm, welcoming feeling, which gets even more enhanced once you meet the hotel staff. Everyone is so friendly & kind. Especially the Bar staff, since I’m a bit of a cocktail fanatic, I tend to spend a little while at the bar on a daily basis. These guys at the bar are insane. The drinks are Made with true craftsmanship, and it’s a joy to listen to all their knowledge and love they have for their craft. It’s beautiful! Make sure you ask for either Marco, Diego, Matteo or Davide! They will make already which is a great time at the bar, even better. Especially Marco, He will pretty much refine the whole experience for you, and make you feel like your at home. Also many thanks to Christophe Mercier ( The general manager ) he is a great host and is very engaging with the guests, he doesn’t mind taking the time to have a little chit chat, he is great! Please check out their wonderful restaurant out too! Super delicious food, in a very nice, relaxing setting. All in all, I can go on and on complementing this place, but the best way for you to get even a little glimpse of my review is too go there, and experience it for yourself. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed! Ca di Dio Thanks for everything, can’t wait to see you guys soon again! Kamil Dragland

We loved our honeymoon stay at Ca’ di Dio! As a Hyatt member, we were offered a complimentary room upgrade to a Junior Suite. That’s so rare, because usually space is booked. We enjoyed every aspect of this hotel. The decor, the staff, location, and uniqueness! Also, the bar is stunning with the most talented staff. Marco was our bartender on our first day. Talk about top notch customer service! And Diego joined him for our second day. Thank you both for spoiling us on our special vacation. We recommend this spot to anyone looking for a one of a kind, high class experience in Venice.

Truly a gem. Anyone visiting Venice should enjoy this 5-star hotel. While the hotel opened in 2021 the building was previously for retreats. We had a junior suite with a lagoon view and it was incredible. The bed was so comfy! But the staff was 10x better! They were so kind and very responsive to any request we made. Very clean space too. Felt very comfortable and at home. You can walk to St Mark's center in just 10 minutes. Mateo was an especially great staff member!
