Together with Rialto, the 2 nicest bridges in Venezia. However, the views from the Ponte dell’Accademia were for me much more beautiful, it is also less busy. At night is quite a romantic spot, so don’t miss it.

Venice the old splendor of the Italian Silk route. The chanels and glass artrifacts make this beautifull town an atraction with the famous chanels

We went this bridge for the sun rise and it was spectacular. Except for the cloud cover hahaha. We looked up the Golden hour and then got there like 20 minutes before the sunrise and there wasn't very much traffic on the bridge. After a few minutes they scooted out anyways. We went early October and it's still a very beautiful location even with cloud cover.

Different style bridge with a timber exterior. Nice restaurants near it and the best place to get a gondola ride from as it takes you both in the Grand Canal as well as the quiet small canals which have less traffic.

Nice place to take selfie or good pic of the canal. There’s a water taxi should you want to get somewhere fast.

The beautiful view from the Grand Canal in Venice from one of the biggest bridges in the city. You can stand it the middle of the canal and admire the view of the church, gondolas and every kind of ship. You must visit in day light and evening. To avoid people make sure you go early or late in the evening.

Awesome bridge that directly connects the old town with the harbour. From here also many water taxis go into the city centre.

The place with a fine view to the Canal Grande. A passage to Dorsoduro.

Better than the Rialto for sure. A pleasant climb and it actually has foot traffic and feels like a pedestrian bridge rather than just a tourist attraction. Knocked a star off because there was a huge, ugly banner marring the view.

Although the Rialto bridge is probably more famous, Ponte dell' Accademia is far more entertaining and beautiful. The views of the canal from the bridge are kind of panoramic and incredible! The bridge has stunning views from both sides and is a must for photographers. Don't miss it when in Venice.

Our favourite bridge over the grand canal. Stunning views during the day and even more magical at night

One of the amazing city captures of Venice you can take from the wooden Bridge „Ponte Dell“Accademia“. This wooden bridge is connecting another city island where you can visit an art museum of Peggy Guggenheim.

Bridge offers great view on both sides. But I must warn you, even in November, around afternoon the bridge gets too crowded hand you have to wait for your turn to take a proper shoot. But in the morning, It's fantastic. I had the pleasure to watch the suntise there. Mesmerised.

I went to Venice for a 4 day break, i am disabled and use a mobility scooter. I went Venice with my husband and 2 friends. We were a bit worried about getting around with the scooter but actually we had a wonderful time, my scooter is light weight and foldable. And I had two strong friends. All the water buses aloud me to drive straight on. The taxi boats were not so keen and I was told at the airport that I wasn't aloud on the taxi boat with my scooter. But we managed to get a short road bus to the centre. Then get water buses from there. Ok so I can walk a little bit so when it came to bridges my friends had to carry my scooter over so I would say otherwise I wouldn't have got around very easy, there are alot of bridges. We went island hopping too using the water buses. It was a wonderful place to visit and make memories.

The bridge is spectacular as well as the place. the only one of its kind. the bridge built in wood and reinforced with metal is an important attraction for Venice. and is one of the bridges that crosses the grand canal together with the rialto bridge just further along the shore. we took lots of souvenir photos to carry with us. at dawn and at sunset it gives us enchanting views.

Great views of Ponte dell'Accademia. You have stunning views of La Salute Church from here. It's also conveniently located right beside the vaporetto stop. My photos were taken at different time of the day, first two in midday and next two in late afternoon.

As far as bridges go it's alright. Difficult to get over if you're in a rush, if you're not it's difficult to get pictures without hordes of other tourists in shot. Other than that it's a good meeting place I guess.

We found this place by accident. Side note: when mapping walking directions in Venice, make sure the directions don’t require a ferry. Back to the point, this is a great place to take pictures in Venice.

Venice is so photogenic because of the beautiful clean air. Get there in the early fall , less people and fresh air because the water smells disappear in the cooler weather.

The Ponte dell'Accademia in Venice is that it offers stunning panoramic views of the Grand Canal and the beautiful Venetian architecture that lines its banks. It is a popular spot for visitors to capture breathtaking photographs of the iconic canal and the city's unique charm.

Great view of a part of Venice. Just to make sure to remember your route properly and uses bridges like this as a reference.

Nice vantage point for sunrise and sunset. It’s super busy at those times so plan ahead and you should be fine.

Get here early, or before everyone else does and you have one of the best views of the Grand Canal. Not as great to look at as Rialto Bridge, but far better for everything else. Highly recommend wandering that little but further to stand upon it. Also a good place to catch gondolas from, so that you're not in a gondola snake in the area around St Marks

beautiful sunrise location. though the sun rises behind the buildings, but the colors are nice and the scenery/silhouette is beautiful. both sides of the bridge are picture worthy. get there starting just before the actual sunrise. I’m glad I got up for it. it’s a nice bridge in general with a gorgeous view, much less crowded than Rialto.

Surely nice bridge, but that's it, a nice bridge and super crowded. The view is ok, but I actually preferred smaller streets and smaller bridges with less tourists 😊

Maybe one of the best view points in Venice. Busy bridge like all well known photo spots in Venice. Highly recommend going at night and taking in the grand canal and the amazing city skyline

If you want to reach the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute on foot from St. Mark's Square, you have to cross this bridge. A nice place to take beautiful pictures of the Grand Canal and the Basilica.

Sunset over Canal Grande in Venice. Yes, it's crowded, expensive and hot as hell in summer time, but it's a marvel. Rushing through it in a quick half a day kind of trip is a misunderstanding. But taking a (long) weekend here - perfect! And Ponte dell'Accademia is certainly one of the top spots in town for amazing views :-)

A beautiful place to stop and take pictures of Venice canals. It's a lot less crowded than Rialto and the other major bridges in the area. Easy to climb, wide steps and one of our favorite stops for stunning views.

I went deep on reviews across trip advisor and google, and landed on this and another place. To quote another review, “just stop looking and book this.” In short, because Roberto is a legend who handled everything, in particular with large bags and a car. Thanks for making our two night stay so easy and memorable.

For me this is the most beautiful bridge in Venice!

What a fantastic place to see! This building was the cradle of theatre and music since 1835, burned twice and refurbished twice. If you are into classical music definitely try to get a ticket for a show. I just visited the theatre with an audio guide! Still worth it! Do take an audio guide its included in the price and you will get a full history of the building. Such an incredible piece of architecture!
