This beach is amazing! We got here from Venice on the Lido waterbus (€7 ACTV 75 bus). Then took a 25 minute stroll to the beach. Upon arrival we debated getting an umbrella and sun lounger (cheaper to book online or in person after 2pm). We waited and upon sitting on the beach we didn't even need the lounger and umbrella. The beach is very clean soft sand. The umbrellas and loungers are located quite far back from the water so glad we decided to sit on the sand with our towels closer down. There is shower and toilet facilties but you need to have purchased a lounger or beach hut to use these (I assume you can pay at the reception too if needed). There is a little restaurant you can use, but we brought our own snacks and enjoyed the beach!. There is also a bus service from lido boat Dock to the beach also only 8 minute travel if you prefer (again using the 75 minute €1.50 ticket). Would recommend!

I went to Lido San Nicolò and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. It is a paradise for families and for those who want to be in peace: you are greeted by the chirping of cicadas and you don't have loud music in your ears all day. Very large spaces, cleanliness and services that make it practically a daytime campsite: hot showers, snack bar with pizzeria, shop, restaurant. All at honest prices. The fact that it is frequented by many locals is also a guarantee for me. I had no problems booking online and upon arrival within 5 minutes they gave me the bracelet which gives access to the lido's services. If you want to arrive, even during the day, from Venice, you can take bus A from the vaporetto landing stage and get off in Piazza Ravà: 10 minutes. Otherwise 25 min on foot.

OK beach. Still have to pay 1 euro for the public toilet. Not super clean and sand is a bit dirty looking. Swimming is good though.

Great to get away from the heat in Venice and have a swim but it's nothing extraordinary. The sand makes the water quite cloudy but the temperature is very warm. There are two smaller restaurants with pizzas and pasta on the beach and some bars outside the entrances for a cold drinks and coffee.
