I mean, it was really well thought through. I loved the Antarctica place. Of course I love ice and snow. But I was very very very impressed. Worth your money

Large, a bit old, unpolished and a bit confusing. If you have kids this should be a cool place to come to. There were some highlights though, like a very large room below zero, another one that imitates the Niger desert. The open spaces are interesting and somewhat artistic. The rest feels dated.

Mind blown!!! Weather museum first of a kind,I have ever visited. Brilliant architecture of the Klimahaus. Coordinated really well during the COVID situation. Highly recommend too visit this place to experience different weather conditions. Especially antarctic and tropical climates. Kids definitely would love it as it has the good collection of aquatic n tropical species as display. Don't miss the session at weather studio. For sure will visit again with family and friends.

Great museum for all ages. You can see and study the human impact on the climate, visit rooms from the Sahara to the Antarctic! Wonderfully laid routes will not let you get lost in such a large building! Very cute animals and reptiles, especially with fish! There is a great opportunity to take the test and get a certificate! I recommend! The ticket price is small but worth it!

Very expensive and boring place. A ticket for an adult costs 22 euros (after 15.00 - 18 euros) It’s full of plastic and very stuffy. There are few living plants and animals. This place gives me the impression of a poor terrarium. There was no new information at the Exhibition for us. It was a pity to waste three hours on this.

(Translated by Google) Otherwise I don't write particularly long reviews but it really has to be here! I was there before Corona and it was great 👍 It all started with the impressive architecture of the building and the great location! After you have found your way through the entrance (the queues are usually long so come early) you can go to the toilet or visit the also nice shop! Then comes the highlight of the museum: The exhibition! This is presented imposingly and the knowledge does not kill you but is gradually revealed (unfortunately not always the case). The exhibition is divided into several areas that can convince everyone! So one experiences e.g. in one climatic zone the scorching heat while you stood shivering a few minutes in the other! It's a lot of fun to see everything! There are enough toilets and cafes / snack bars on the way! I hope you can understand why I like the Klimahaus so much ... Is definitely worth a visit!

The experience was good, but I recommend it only if you have children. I was there with my girlfriend and we had fun, but we expected more excitement. The rooms are pretty small, but full of details and information and voice instructions. A little bit expensive 18 euro for after 15:00 clock and 20 euro for anytime of the day. For children it is 10-12 euro.

(Translated by Google) The whole family really liked the climate house! I basically like the idea of the 8th degree of longitude. I also think the implementation is terrific. I found the two African peoples from Niger and Cameroon in comparison to be particularly exciting, e.g. to see the position of women. The two Christian cultures of Samoa and Alaska were also very different. There was a lot to try out (yodel in a soundproof booth in Switzerland) and experience (in Cameroon in the dark rainforest, the background noise).

Very well thought through and informative exhibition. A must visit... Something comparable at times to the Tate modern. A few of the fixed tour audio descriptions need repairing, but otherwise a super experience. Restaurant is well priced with freshly cooked and prepared food to meet most tastes, facilities (toilets and baby changing rooms) are well maintained and conveniently located. Good access to 90% of all areas to those who can walk or for prams / buggies. Commit yourself fully to the experience (especially your time) and if you like to be informed about the world (and man's affects on it) and you won't be disappointed (though you might be saddened)

(Translated by Google) We were there in autumn 2020: a real disappointment for us (three generations)! Very expensive unjustified price. Not only because of Corona, you wait in front of a room in which a kind of round tour begins, as only a certain number of people can fit into this room. Most of the rooms are boring and decorated in the simplest possible way. Headphones hang in almost every room where things are being told. The climate topic could be made much more interesting, especially for children. Everything looks really exciting on the homepage ... but unfortunately it is not at all. Not recommendable.

Worth a visit for every age! There is a lot to learn about cultures, climate and different people around the globe. If you're on Bremerhaven for a couple of days, its most definitely worth a visit... Only downside is that if you spend too much time in each room, you will most likely spend 3+ hours there and at some point the information becomes too much. Choose a couple places you're interested in and learn about the People, just vibe with the other places and you'll be good to go!

Great place but more than half the things weren't working, or open. We wanted to do the small helicopter ride thing that was open from 12 until 17 and at 16:20 the lady told us it was too late and that she was closing up. The most exciting, sensory experiences were all quite literally turned off or broken. Some of the insects in the cabins were dead and we even spotted some dead fish in the aquariums. Honestly seems like it could be an amazing experience but there was no immersion due do all these factors.

Very interesting exhibition, various sides of different part of the planet, an aquarium with colorful fish, caymans, well organized, friendly staff. There is underground big parking. We payed 5.5 EUR for 4.5 hours. The WC in parking is paid, but it’s free inside museum. There is restaurant with vegan street food, the prices a little bit high for such quality of food. There are the lifts. You can go upstairs on the roof and breath with fresh air.

Very nice museum that is worth your money!!! It’s a museum that is so unique from others. U start in Germany and the museum travels along the world through many many places with climates like desert , tropical forests and cold ice When your in antártica the room has ice on the floor and it feels hot . In Africa there was sand and it felt very hot inside there . This place is fun for adults and especially children. There’s always audioguides and text with information about the place and about the environment in general .

A very interactive and interesting museum which shows different location around the globe which are located on the 8 longitude east. Loved the idea and the fact that there are so many diverse climates depicted , from deserts to Alaska.

Great museum. Went for the afternoon ticket and honestly did feel I'd rushed a bit. One could easily spend upwards of 4 hours there. Connected to the Moin shopping outlet and on the Bremerhaven waterfront it's a great place to visit for sure. Different rooms represent different climates as you travel across the world at 8° East. Lots of fun gimmicks (slides, trampolines, tunnels with glass bug cages and shaky rope bridges over fish) to keep children entertained and interesting facts and life experiences from people throughout the world. Highly reccomend.

I’d definitely recommend visiting this place. It is absolutely stunning and informative. One of the great things is, that it’s not just for kids, but also for a group of adults. Great scenery. I’d recommend taking a few hours (2ish) to really admire every single room :)

Wonderful experience in the heart of Bremerhaven. Lots of walking but leading you through various climates and stories of different regions. So interesting! Lots to take in - definately take a few hours to explore. Highly recommend - thank you for such an amazingly well cared for and well thought out experience!

Great interactive experience for the whole family. You ‘travel’ through different countries and climates and on the way there’s so much to see and to do, a great variety of activities, you can spend a whole afternoon here. Worth every euro.

Idea of the place is wonderful. Unfortunately I was expecting better experience with more interaction and acticity. Moving through rooms are not well organised, I missed going to some rooms as I entered one. Even the top roof, the view was blocked from seeing the town in some direction. Tickets cost 20€ but from 15.00 it is reduced to 18€

Don't miss this beautiful place, my 88yr old mother loved it as did I, and hopefully we will be able to see it again, I would like more time there just to sit and take it all in more.

Very interesting journey over different country's of the earth. The museum was build in a good fashion displaying different country's, there climates, people and customs. It will keep you busy for the afternoon or entire day. It depends how fast you go through it. It even has a track for less abled people, but you miss some things.

This is a very nice place to feel the world from mountains, desert, Antarctica, Alaska, Samoa, Switzerland. When you walk to each section, you feel cold of glacier, Antarctica.very informative with English and Germany. You can feel the human and nature conflict from the story of people. The hardship of life in each place , the unique ethic group.

The museum is brilliant the way they have shown different weather conditions is just amazing, the best place for me was the night star installation. I didnt take many photos as I was busy seeing the museum 😅

The experience was good. It was overall a good experience, while at places I felt English translation was needed. Also you need to have good 4-5 hrs if you have passion to read and experience the life experience of this person

  • 3/5 Simon B. 6 months ago on Google
Nice place with very important messaging. Unfortunately partially broken exhibits. In need of some modernization and refurbishment. Would benefit a lot from different smells in the individual regions. Cow dung in the alps, African spices, salty ocean breeze etc. English subtitles missing for all movies. Horribly confused about the super weird Bible quotes/references/imagery completely unfitting for a science museum otherwise dedicated to factual awareness, not angels. 🤦‍♂️ Animal exhibits could use more space. COVID and general health measures in dire need of improvement ("disinfect your hands here" stations were all empty). The museum felt slightly overcrowded even on a very slow day.

(Translated by Google) During a short stay in Bremerhaven, we also visited the Klimahaus. The climate house offers an interesting journey through the different climatic areas of the earth. The respective scenes are designed appropriately. In many areas you can get information about geography, climate and animals. Corresponding animals can also be found in the respective areas. The whole is structured as a kind of tour, which is easy to follow. If you look at a lot of things well, you will need an afternoon to see them. A visit is worthwhile, as such interactive knowledge houses are relatively rare in cities compared to normal museums.

The Klimahaus Bremerhaven 8 ° Ost is a scientific exhibition house in Bremerhaven. It is located at the Old Harbor and is part of the Havenwelten, its shape resembles a submarine. The exhibition offers the possibility of a virtual journey around the world. The knowledge and experience world of around 18,800m2 takes up the topic of climate and climate change in three exhibition areas. I hope that the infection numbers will soon be history because of vaccines and vaccinations and that you can visit this exhibition house again. My anticipation is definitely there !! . A very interesting and original place to check out. Be ready to be teleported into a microcosm where you will learn more about our Mother Earth and its different behaviors. Klimahaus is located in the heart of Bremerhaven and it´s a gigantic complex, sort of interactive museum, that won't disappoint those who are thirsty of knowledge, that want to know more about our beautiful planet. The entire tour takes about 2 and half/ 3 hours and when it comes the time to leave, you would rather stay because this place is so awesome!
