Friendly service. Great food. Nice atmosphere. Not too noisy, can have a conversation and visit with people while enjoying a great meal. Reasonable prices. Definitely a do again restaurant. 2nd visit- trout, pork stake, chocolate Death. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Crowded but could still have a conversation with my wife.

We are new to living in Vernal and slowly getting around to all the different restaurants in town. This is one I would go to again and had great food. Not only that the ambiance was very "Vernal". If you are a tourist visiting this is a great choice with options for everyone. They also have a fantastic souvenir shop that is better than the dinosaur museums or the heritage museum in town in my opinion. If you want a fun, nice, authentic Vernal dining experience I don't think you can find better in town.

Picked this restaurant because of the reviews. Hubby had 12 oz hamburger steak with homemade mashed potatoes and gravy and veggies. I had the trout and fries. Everything was delicious except the trout was dry. They offered to get me something else, and I declined. They took the fish off of my bill. Our meals came with a cup of soup (veggie was overflowing with veggies and cream chicken soup. The cream chicken couldn't be better. Highly recommend), salad, and scones (scones were hot and delicious).service was superb and the restaurant was very clean. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Prices were very reasonable

The food was so good! And the service was amazing. The chocolate death dessert was one of the best desserts we have had in a while! Loved it. Definitely would go back.

Went in on a Saturday night. This place is BUSY so just be prepared but it is well worth the wait. As it was only a party of two went my boyfriend and I went in we were seated within 5 minutes. The staff was SUPER nice and the food was AMAZING! It is very reasonably priced and tasted GREAT! The scones were nice and fresh too! The gift shop has some great suveniors and a variety of knick knacks! Great place to stop in while you are in town!

They have great reviews but I thought it was pretty mediocre. I went with the Navajo taco the scone was excellent but the rest needed extra salsa and sour cream and that made it fairly good. It took a while to get seated or even acknowledge. They don’t serve alcoholic beverages in case you were looking to enjoy one with your dinner. Over all I might come back to try the prime rib but honestly I’m not a fan of the atmosphere here. for someone like me that’s had a long day and just wants to relax and have a nice dinner and a drink it’s not my first choice to come back to. If you have four or more kids this is probably a good place for you. The prices are very reasonable.

First off, the apple pie and scone didn’t even make it in the photos because they were inhaled.. that good! The Reuben sandwich with the fries and mushroom soup was also very good. I was in town visiting for work and wanted to experience something local.. I 100% recommend this place. Even the server, Hannah, was on time and very friendly. Will be coming back for sure and bringing my colleagues along.

7 of us came to see the play across the street, and this was so convenient. We were seated promptly. The waitress was very patient to take our orders as there was so many delicious meals to choose from. I ordered the veal cutlets. ( haven't seen them on a menu for years.) So I had to order them. I was not disappointed. There was 2 nice size pieces with yellow and orange carrots cooked to perfection. I chose mashed potatoes and the potato soup as my sides. It was so good and filling that I actually had leftovers for lunch the next day. Every one else had anything from salad to burger, each meal was enjoyable. Out waitress was very attentive throughout the meal. The price was very affordable for each of us. The gift shop had jars of different flavored candies , to t-shirts with Dinosaurs. ( The area is known for Dinosaur bones found locally). Also candles, stuffed animal. The restrooms are located at the back of the gift shop. Each is large enough to accommodate a wheelchair easily.

Very cozy inside with beautiful Christmas decorations while we watched the snow through the large front window!! Atmosphere was happy and jolly. The food was good and reasonably priced! It was a very pleasant and comfortable late lunch!

Food is great, decent prices, great atmosphere. Good service. The only thing that missed the mark was the server not clearing plates from the table making it kinda tight and cramped. Otherwise definitely worth the stop.

Lives up to its claim of delicious home-style food at reasonable prices. Family oriented place with friendly server. No WiFi. Tables are in a huge eating hall with some echo, but noise was not too bad.

What a nightmare restaurant experience! The advertised special was "Prime Rib." We go in and are told only well done is available. The blond waitress with the braces was mean, and the rest of the staff reminded me of the teenagers in the book "Lord of the Flies" The hostess asked me how was my dining experience, and I said, "Not good at all," and all she did was look at her co-worker and didn't respond; she just took my money. I will never return, and I do not recommend 711 Ranch House!

Dropped in on a whim. Food was decent. Service was really slow, and it honestly wasn't very busy. It took over a half hour to get my burger. Burger was pretty small, a little bit of flavor, but I was expecting more. More flavor and more size. The cheeseburger soup sounded interesting, gave it a try, and honestly...it was just okay. A little bit of ground beef in a bowl of cream of chicken. Didn't have any real flavor and didn't stand out. Not a bad place, prices are fair, but just don't expect to leave feeling full or satiated.

Lots of room, plenty of help. Abundant parking (in back) and a neat little gift shop. Food price was decent, plenty of it. We did not leave hungry! Photo is prime rib special.

We visit Vernal once a year and try to find new local places to eat and support small businesses. This was our first visit to 7-11, not to be confused with 7-eleven convenient stores. The setup is similar to a cracker barrel with a gift shop at the entrance and restaurant to the side. Service was friendly and food was served hot and promptly enough. I would eat here again. Scones are delicious and 2 for $2!

Always a fun experience to go here, staff is always friendly and go above and beyond and the food is just as good!

Great atmosphere and a cute shop. I ordered vegetable beef soup, and it had 3 tiny pieces of beef, lots of carrots, and barley. Good flavor but was far from what was expected. When brought to the attention of the server, she said, "ih, she must not have added much beef this time " offered a different item, however, I was nearly done eating. Scone was nothing special like the menu suggested. Servers were rarely seen and did not come to check on us until we were almost done. Check brought without asking if we wanted anything additional. Won't bother returning on our next visit to town.

Great comfort food spot! I had the chicken fried steak and it's was cooked well and had great flavor in it. Plenty of sides to go with it too. Employees were nice and prompt. Definitly will be back!

My girlfriend talked this place up. We went there tonight and neither of us were impressed from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Our waitress was rude, you could tell she didn't want to be there and our food was cold. We had barely got our food and she was at our table asking of we wanted dessert or if we needed boxes. She then gave us our ticket and left. We felt so uncomfortable we didn't even finish our meal and left. The only nice thing about tonight was the lady that checked us out. My girlfriend is very upset because she really enjoys that restaurant and it was not a pleasant experience at all tonight

The food was excellent here. Give this place a chance. I think they are trying to figure it all out and may be short handed. The waitresses and cashier were all very sweet, friendly, and eager to please. Perfect for families. Laid back atmosphere and plenty of seating.

The chicken fried steak was tender with yummy gravy. While the homemade scones were delicious. Great prices, fast service.

The food was really good. The staff is friendly, however, our waitress was not that great at serving.
