Once we decided on the design the incredibly talented Jewelry Craftsman, Roman, stepped in to provide more details on the proposed design. He created a 3D rendering of my ring so I was able to see exactly what it would look like. When I went to pick it up I was beyond thrilled! It was exactly what they showed me in the 3D drawing and exceeded my expectations on design, quality and detail. I cannot stress enough that the quality of Roman’s workmanship is impeccable. When I noticed a missing diamond on my engagement ring, I was devastated. There was no question in my mind where I would be bringing my ring for repair: Lustig Jewelers. Growing up, my father always purchased jewelry for my mother from Lustig as well as had jewelry repairs done there. They’re always happy to do a quick clean on my wedding rings for free too. And they’ll let me know whether my wedding ring set needs to be more deeply cleaned (which they hold onto for several days and rightly charge for as they come out SO SPARKLY) or if it’s more surface dirt/soap and a quick cleaning is all that they need. Excellent service! The staff here are warm and welcoming . I came in to get my wedding ring set and my husband's ring cleaned and dipped. They took great care of our rings. The work was planned to take possibly 4 business days but was done in 2. Inwill definitely return for future cleaning and repair needs as well as to shop the wide selection.

I went to Lustig for help with jewelry from an estate, watch repair, and also to have my engagement/wedding rings reset. Jill was very helpful in sorting the estate jewelry: which items to keep for sentimental reasons, which were mere costume, which had stones to have appraised, and which pieces had value for their scrap metal. Jill and Roman helped in getting my engagement/wedding rings redone in platinum, and due to a larger arthritic knuckle constructed with a hinge (Cliq) so that it can easily be removed for cleaning. Roman was meticulous about the design and details. They also were able to get my ring done quickly so that I can wear it to a family wedding. Highly recommend owner Dan and staff Jill and Roman! Love my new ring!

I needed a ring resized and needed a trustworthy jeweler to do it. I once got ripped off at another jeweler so I did my homework before entrusting my ring to Lustig. Not only did I need resizing (larger) but there were loose prongs that needed repair. They had me look thru the loop to show me where repair was needed There also were lots of scratches on the band. When I picked up the ring, I was astonished at how good it looked. In fact it looked brand new and fit perfectly. So pleased.!

My family has used Lustig jewelers for years. My mother recently passed away and I have entrusted them in resizing multiple pieces of her jewelry for family members. The quality of their work and their professional manner has always been spot on!

I did considerable research on jewelry stores prior to visiting any stores. My research led me to Lustig. I wanted an establishment I could count on in terms of guidance, trust, service, and quality. The first stop and last stop directed me to Lustig. I met with Dan and immediately was put at ease, and knew I had made the right choice. With a bit of guidance we found the perfect ring. From there the stock diamonds did not fit the size and shape I was looking for. Dan had his suppliers ship in several sample diamonds which he guided as to size and quality. Dan went over each sample explaining the positives of each stone. I made my choice within a couple of days and Roman went to work customizing the ring to hold the type and size of the diamond choose. The results were absolutely perfect. I could not and would not recommend another store for professional service, quality of work, and customer service. They are totally first class. Thank you Dan! I visited the store to replace a spring bar for an older Omega watch I had and was extremely impressed by the care and consideration that went into sourcing and providing this. The staff was friendly, thoughtful and very accommodating. I believe that my direct interaction was with the owner himself and he could not have been more considerate. You would have thought that I was purchasing the Hope Diamond in light of the attention paid me during this very simple transaction. I needed to have my wife’s diamond ring cleaned and dipped in rhodium. I messaged Lustig regarding a quote and received a quick response. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, the staff greeted me, while following COVID safety protocols. The ring was closely reviewed by the jeweler who noticed a potential problem spot and notifies me of any possible issues during the deep cleaning process . About an hour later, I got a call stating that no issues occurred and the ring was looking good. It was ready to be picked up the next day. The ring looked brand new, very clean and sparkly. My wife was very happy with it.

These Jewelers are the best. They are honest and ethical and professional. I remember their quality from when they were located in Chicago, and Hawthorn, and on Rt. 60, their current location. I had watches repaired, a special momento one and another. They were personable and kind, and they checked with me regarding costs. I am not an expert, but I think their quality is equal to or better than the one known for it's blue box.

I wanted a small diamond band ring to match another one I had to wear together on my right hand. The service was great. I found the perfect ring at a very decent price. It was sized and ready sooner than originally promised. I am very pleased. Everyone who works there is friendly and very professional!

My search for an engagement ring began at the Jared down the street from Lustig Jewelers. It was a very negative experience. I felt like their staff barely listened to me or what I wanted out of the ring and gave me a selection of just a few generic ones to choose from. There was a lot of pressure to buy right away and not even attempt to let me shop around. When I left I decided to try Lustig instead and my experience was completely different. Their business feels far less corporate and gives off more of the sense of a family owned business. I was lucky enough to speak to the president of the company himself, Dan Lustig. He took the time to ask me about my fiance, how we met, and what her preferences for jewelry were before recommending me some different rings. I never felt rushed and had the time to look through a number of different styles. When the rings in the store came close but weren't exactly what I was hoping for, Dan even brought out a book of the different styles of bands they had and let me look though it. I found two different ones that I couldn't decide between and he was nice enough to order both so I could see them in person. A week and a half later I came back in and compared the two and fell in love with my final choice. Thanks to the staff at Lustig Jewelers I found a ring that was unique, beautiful, and perfectly matched my fiance's tastes; all at a price lower than what Jared wanted for their more generic selection. My fiance got so many compliments about her ring and it has solidified my feeling that I made the right choice going to Lustig and I highly recommend that anyone else shopping for an engagement ring does too.

My ring needed reconstructing. I consulted with the designer and a CAD drawing of the ring was drawn. I approved it and within a couple of weeks, I had the ring. The result was mind blowing! I have had numerous jewelry repairs done and they have taken the utmost care with everything! I feel like they are my friends. I just bent my wedding ring and they repaired it at no charge and had it back to me the same day. Once again beyond pleased. It looked like new when I got it back as well! I started buying jewelry at Lustig in 2012. Over the years I came to trust Dan so much that even though I was living outside the US, I contacted him to find my wife the perfect diamond ring for our 25th wedding anniversary. Dan worked at length with us on a custom ring over a period of weeks, sending pictures, CADs, and discussing designs. Dan and I were like a team, focused on making sure my wife would be thrilled with the ring, and he’s an expert, really knows his trade. We picked up the custom ring last week, and my wife absolutely loves it. I’m 100% satisfied. We’re now moving out of Illinois for good, but when I need something special for my wife, I’ll always call Dan, no matter where I’m living. Top recommendation for Dan, he’s the best.

The owners and staff took the time to go over our options, meet with a professional designer (Roman who was fantastic), give us quotes, and allow us to choose the route we wanted to take.
