Erin and her clinic are an absolute god send! I found lice on one of my girls and due to PTSD from when I was a child, I freaked! I remembered seeing her car driving around and I immediately called her. She got me in same day, checked my family of five, and all 3 of my kids had it! Even my son with no symptoms and super short hair! She reassured me, educated our family, and my kids absolutely loved her! They keep asking to go back to the hair salon. :) Erin even text the next day as a follow up. She is as sweet as can be and eased all my fears and nerves of the situation. I couldn’t recommend her and her services anymore. I left feeling confident that the problem was gone and fixed and we could go on enjoying the holidays. Thank you Erin!

When my daughter had lice the first time, I spent hours and hours treating her at home. I vowed to never do that again! When she got lice again I called the clinic and got they got us in right away. They were very nice, understanding, professional and extremely knowledgeable. In about an hour my daughter was lice free and I had piece of mind. Plus I didn't have to spend hours treating her at home. Months later lice happened yet again! I called the clinic at 8:00 at night and they were able to get her in the next day. I had the exact same experience that I had the first time. Nothing but good things to say about the entire staff. The clinic is clean and the prices are affordable. Lice happens and honestly it is so much easier to go to the clinic and have it treated then to do it on your own.

I HIGHLY recommend coming here to get treated if you suspect your child has lice. I called in the middle of the night in a panic and they called me back right in the morning and scheduled me to come in a few hourd later. It was quick, painless and my daughter walked away lice free. Everyone was so nice and so informative. I learned everything I needed to know about lice. If you’re doubting to call, please call! My daughter and I were told one afternoon by our hair stylist that we had lice for the first time ever in our lives! My daughter is 18 and I’m a little older 😂. I had no idea what to do so I went to Ulta and bought a lice kit, lice shampoo and conditioner. When I got home I started watching YouTube videos to try to learn what to do. After searching for information I came across Lice Clinics of America videos and realized quickly that I wished I was lucky enough to live near one of those magical places. My daughter did a quick search and found the Vernon Hills location! I called and spoke to Nick the owner, who said he could see us both right away. All of my problems ended right there in that clinic. Upon arrival Nick calmed us down, especially my daughter, by giving us all of the facts about lice that no one knows and he never made us feel like we were lepers. He debunked all of the myths I had heard. He even told us some interesting stories about how he came to own his clinic. At one point I felt like I was just at a hair salon chatting with my stylist and not having tiny parasites carefully removed from my scalp 😂. Nick handled my daughter so well that her initial anxiety dropped to zero. The misinformed hairstylist we had been at earlier told her that she needed to go to the doctor and we needed to wrap up everything in the house in plastic bags for two weeks that my daughter had ever touched. Not true. I can’t even tell you how long we were at the clinic I’m sure it was a while but it flew by because he distracted us so well. Initially, Nick combed our hair with a lice comb to confirm, and to demonstrate that we did indeed have lice and nits. Next he proceeded to use this hot air device that he puts all over your head for 30 seconds per section, which I understand dehydrates and kills the nits and lice. Next he sprayed a leave in conditioner in our hair and carefully combed out the nits and lice . After that, he applied an oil on our scalps that we went home with. The oil can be shampoo’d out 10 minutes after application. Nick also demonstrated by pouring this oil onto a lice that he removed from my daughters head and placed in a petri dish, and we saw it die within a few seconds under a microscope. It was kind of cool. This ended up being a pleasant experience and we have remained lice free since we saw him last, a week and a half ago. This clinic deserves more than five stars.

If you or your child gets lice, just go here. Don’t try any at home remedies or shampoos, just call and make an appointment. My daughter had gotten lice from daycare, so I went online and requested and appointment, and within 30 minutes Erin called me to answer my questions and schedule. And the lice is GONE. Absolutely amazing. The customer service before, during, and after the appointment was phenomenal! I had no idea places like this existed, and I am overjoyed I found them!

First time goin in. Tbh I didn’t know “Lice Clinic” was a thing! We have our 8 year old and she was full of eggs. I had tried so many things that I was so close to just shave her head. But!! Thankfully, my husband found the clinic on line. We made an appointment, and boom 💥 we got seen. The gentleman who was at the clinic was very nice and he was helping us with info. I regret trying any treatment before coming here! I had tried the at home treatment for my daughters and myself and spent hours every day combing hair, just for the lice to return the next morning and to get a chemical burn on my hands from the treatment. I found the Lice Clinic online and was able to get in same day. My daughters were able to return to school the next day. The nurse wasn't able to find any eggs in her hair. I would recommend this place to anyone as soon as you discover lice, and will definitely be back if it makes its way back to our house ever.

Nobody wants to deal with lice but if you have it, don't hesitate to go straight here! I was so impressed by the laid back but professional approach to this uncomfortable situation. This husband/wife team answered all my questions and put me at ease. Would not hesitate to go back but hoping I'm only going to be referring them instead!

I did not know this place exists till i was told by a fellow mom when my child had lice. I called and was able to speak to someone right away and get an appointment quickly! The staff I worked with while there was very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable! They made it painless and easy! They made my little girl feel comfortable! We have used Lice Treatment Centers of America twice and they are fantastic at what they do and are so friendly! Most importantly, Lice free 100% after one visit and reasonably priced! They definitely help decrease the stress of my kids getting lice in the future.

We had a slight scare and were worried that my daughter had lice. Did the at home treatment for her as well as ourselves but were still left uneasy that we could possibly have lice in our hair. We went online and looked for a lice clinic nearby. Found this location had 5 star reviews and immediately went online to book an appointment. After filling out our info, I was contacted within 5-10 minutes by a nice lady who graciously scheduled our appointment for the next morning. Fast forward to the day of the appointment and we were greeted by Nick (owner). Nick was friendly and very informative. You could tell he has a passion and knowledge for his business. Nick screened us all, made us feel comfortable throughout the process and gave us tips for lice prevention. By visiting Nick’s business, we were able to have a sense of ease that we had no lice. His prices are fair for the service you receive. I HIGHLY recommend this location (he also owns the Spring Grove location) and will come back if needed in the future! Thanks Nick!

As far as lice treatment can go, this place is great! After treating at home for multiple days and losing lots of sleep, I used the website to request an appointment and Erin called me within 10 minutes to get in the schedule later that same day. I really appreciated that a staff member worked diligently to ensure my entire family was checked, even coming in early the next morning to see my son. I was able to pay with HSA card, too. Now, a week later, we are still lice-free, and plan to stay that way!

I would like to thank Erin the owner for answering all my questions and accommodating to my schedule. However I would also like to highlight Amber our technician for the service that was provided. Amber was amazing, the first time we went she was incredibly understanding and assured us everything was going to be okay. We went for a second time to make my daughter was clean and it was no different, Amber completely understood I wanted to make sure my daughter was lice free. I hope to never be in that same situation, but if I am I will head your way without trying a million over the counter treatments that don't work. I’m sure all the technicians are great but Amber went above and beyond! Thank you!

No-one likes to experience or admit to having lice in the family, but things like this are a fact of life. I am going to summarize my review as follows: “This place is AMAZING. Don’t waste your time doing anything else and just go here to get the lice taken care of.” Now more details: We suspected one of our kids to have lice and didn’t know where to start. We scheduled an appointment on their website that night and they contacted us first thing the next morning and got us right in the same morning. We took the family for everyone to get checked out. The place is clean, modern, and kid orientated. The staff is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and excellent with children. Don’t waste your time with at home remedies. This place took care of the issue in an hour, guarantees their work, and provides lots of factual informative information. I can’t praise this place enough for turning an embarrassing unknown abyss into a simple service visit. Don’t think twice, just make an appointment and go.
