WOW....is all I can say about this place!!!!! My wife and I were on our way home from watching our son at a Water Polo Tournament. After looking on google for some ideas, we chose to go here. When entering the restaurant, it looked very clean and the person at the front counter looked at us and greeted us right away. The tables were pretty full and there were a few people ordering before us. It didn't take long before our order was taken. Once we ordered, we were told to choose a seat and they would bring it out to us. It was about 5-10 minutes when our food was brought to our table. My wife ordered the Mac Attack Burger and I ordered a Cheeseburger with mayo, ketchup, pickle, and grilled onion. The burgers came out fresh and hot. Both burgers were perfectly cooked (not too pink and not over cooked). The buns were toasted and fresh. We ordered a large order of fries to share and it was plenty for two people. Before leaving, I decided to try one of their iced coffees and it was amazing. This is definitely a must order drink for anyone who is an iced coffee drinker and wants it to taste like chocolate milk. The five stars for this restaurant is much deserved as their prices are very very reasonable, the food is delicious, and the staff is very attentive and welcoming. Thank you for the amazing early dinner!!

Starting from the cheerful greeting you hear as soon as you cross the door, the staff is friendly and kind. The food is amazing and the portions are really generous! Everything is clean and made fresh! The milkshakes are awesome and decorated in a really creative way, and there’s a wide variety of options besides the great burgers! Like appetizers, salads, wraps, wings and kid’s menu. They also offer vegetarian options. Definitely a must go in Vernon Hills!

Holy LARGE fries! 😂🍟 Great to see a burger place at this location, it has always been a struggle for places to last in this little plaza. Burger and fries were very good 😊👍 So many burgers to choose from. Definitely a place I will return to. ( Yes they have other things 😳😅)

Not sure if this is a new spot, but great little find just next to the Vernon Hills 9-hole course. We were craving a good burger and fries, no crinkle cut stuff, and happened upon this place. First thing that brought us in - the reasonable prices for a handmade burger. It is crazy that most restaurants charge $15-20 for a burger. But this place, the most expensive one on the menu is less than $11.00 The large fries could feed a small family. They are so generous with the amount given, so be prepared to take home leftovers. The burgers were really nice, not overly seasoned or salty, which we appreciate, dressed really well with veggies, and a super soft bun. The only thing I will avoid next time is the pickles - they are sweet, which for me doesn’t work with a burger, so mine were lovingly donated to my husband. The staff were really friendly and helpful as well. I hope they are well taken care of (salary wise) by the owner of this place, as they are a key reason people will return here. We’ll definitely be back!

Stopped here for the first time to celebrate. Interesting and reasonably priced food choices - Mac & cheese burger and Cookie Monster shake. Very friendly and helpful service. Large portions.

The food here is amazing! Their burgers are huge and delicious. The serving sizes of both the burger and the fries were huge. The staff there are friendly and kind. The service was quick too. Looking forward to coming back here again soon!!

Best Delicious And Unique Burgers and Hotdogs in Town. Amazing customer service that goes the extra mile. The milkshakes are perfect. Meals are served on stone plates and lots of spacious tables and booth seating. Parking is limited and careful because it's a one-way style drive parking. It's a bit out of the way, but it's also out of this world fantastic. I highly recommend it. The same name as the one in Grayslake, but different owner.

Excellent food and customer service! I ordered a black widow and it was freshly made and yummy! The shake as well was delicious and I love that they have creative flavors every so often. Unlike any other burger place, Twisted Burger’s burgers are huge and tasty; definitely recommend it!

The burgers tasted amazing! The interior is very nice. You can see the burgers on the grill! The staff were very friendly. It was moderately busy when I came but they do offer takeout. I had a shake as well and was surprised by the amount of flavors! I ended up getting a Superman shake and it was great! I will have to come back and try the wings sometime!

I had the twisted burger in McHenry years ago so I knew what to expect. This one is way better than that one. Best burger I have had in a long time.

OMG I just had my first salad from Twisted Burger, and it was amazing! I ordered the Southwest Salad; it was a hardy portion filled with fresh veggies, avocado, and chicken. The tortilla strips added that crunch that I love with all my salads. I wish it was closer to my area; I would be ordering every week.

Hidden treasure — the perfect example of the delicious food in a “hole in the wall” settings. The food was premium, serving sizes were huge (lots of fries!) and the prices were very resistant to Bidenomics — good food at a great price. I had the Captain America. It comes with a delicious beer batter fried onion ring and the meat was cooked perfect. Wife had a burger on lettuce, and kids enjoyed the kids meal — chicken fingers, burgers and hotdog. Cashier was friendly, attentive and prompt. We didn’t try anything, but the posters advertised tempting milkshakes and other deserts we’ll have to try another day!!

I ordered the Cali chicken sandwich and it was amazing. Better than CFA in my opinion, and I’ve had lots of it lol. Everything tasted fresh and hot off the grill. The fries were nice and hot, but a little empty to be honest. I can’t wait to go back and try something new!

Absolutely amazing food. The burgers were incredible, the mozzarella stick, onion rings and fries were also delicious. And don’t forget to try the shakes. Welcome to Vernon Hills!! Our family will be regulars. Keep up the great work!! I highly recommend this establishment.

Very friendly staff and the food is amazing. My boyfriend and I ordered several items to try; a chicago style hotdog, onion rings, fries, chicken wings, a diablo burger and a farmyard burger. I loved my burger which was the diablo burger, although they didn’t ask temperature preference it was cooked perfectly. Wings and onion rings were perfectly cooked as well. fries were okay. Oh and I cant forget the shakes! they are PERFECT!

Twisted Burger feels like the classic burger diner in an almost rural suburban community from the movies. The interior is slightly modernized but you can almost see the age once you sat in for a bit. From the menu, they have a fair amount of burgers, the theme being a grilled pepper on your usual toppings. I had the Mac attack and a portion of the garlic parmesan fries. Service was quick for a lightly filled building. The building itself could house approximately 25~45, and had our order of 4 sandwiches and large fries finished in 12 minutes. For the price and portions you receive from this restaurant, I'd treat this like a knockoff Kuma's corner, Fuddruckers, or even a Culver's. The burgers are massive and some burgers are unique, but the flavor just wasn't there. I honestly thought I would like mac & cheese in a burger, but I guess it's not for me. I had some hope for the fries, but I'm not entirely for them either. (Probably forgot to season..) Anyways, this seems like a great alternative to the more well known burger places out there. Check it out when the parking lot isn't filled up.

Killer milk shake. Massive burger (the picture doesn't do it justice). The bun was sort of lackluster, but wasn't bad, but I can't fault the restaurant on serving a burger that was too big for me to eat - it was a decent burger. The fries were alright (garlic/parm), tasty, but not enough substance. Definitely a great shake though. A little pricey. $$ WARNING ⚠️: if you are squeamish, do not read the update. After 3 trips to the restroom in under 2 hours, I think they need to change the fry oil or something else, because the food left my body as quickly as it entered. Granted, I do not usually eat greasy food, but this must have been far beyond what my body is capable of handling. Keeping 2 stars because that milk shake was pretty good.
