Loved this place. Vising the area for baseball spring training and stumbled upon this restaurant. Ordered a pear martini from bar as we waited for our table. It was excellent! John, the bartender, was so pleasant and friendly. Took very good care of us! We were then seated for dinner and had Christine as our waitress. She was AMAZING! She took such good care us. She was so nice and patient, answered all our questions, and was very attentive! The blue cheese spread was so good. Our appetizers and entrees were delicious. Everything from the food to the service was so good. Amazing restaurant! And the view to the beach was nice. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back whenever in the area. 5 stars!!!!

We stopped in for lunch on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The grouper sandwich was superb. All time top 5 on my list. For dessert, the Pecan pie was absolutely the best. Even though the restaurant was busy, we had tip top service too. I highly recommend.

Historic grill with a view of the Atlantic Ocean! Very busy, but pretty quick to get food. Portions were smaller but delicious! Onion rings can be ordered as a mole, hill or mountain! Lightly breaded crust! Waitress friendly but extremely busy! There was another party that was having a birthday party and the sound was really muffled. For a large restaurant, noise level was minimal.

Food tasted fresh and delicious. The service was excellent and the views were breath taking. I definitely have to recommend to try at least once. Perfect to go with Family and friends! It's handicap accessible and they have plenty of parking.

Always love coming here with the family each time we are down. There is a variety enough to appease each preference in the group. Lots of great ship related nautical items adorn the walls as well as a spectacular view of the ocean.

We had an hour and 45 minute wait for a table cause the restaurant only does reservations for parties of five or more but boy is the food worth the wait. The service is always excellent and I’m never disappointed by the food. Our server was Susie she was a sweetheart ! I highly recommend this restaurant if your in Vero.

Cool place inside, but crowded and super busy at 11:35 AM on a Wednesday with people already waiting in line to be seated. A bit claustrophobic inside in the main dining area so we moved to the lounge area. With not much being offered in the way of appetizers (none), we ordered the home made onion rings instead. It seems they were sitting under a heating lamp for a while and were disappointing in terms of taste and texture. The batter was rather chalky and bland. The peel and eat shrimp were very good, but I was not happy to only get 6 in my half order. $1.5 per shrimp is a bit much. French onion soup was tasty but was not especially hot. I got the impression it was also sitting under a heat lamp for too long. Chicken salad was excellent so we rounded the food rating to 3 stars. Service was good considering the heavy crowd. No outside dining but you can see the ocean from some areas inside. Just ok, I don't think I'll be back.

Consistent, basic, seafood and steak restaurant, a favorite of tourist and locals alike. We had baked shrimp topped with crab, beet & goat cheese salad, shrimp cocktail, crab au gratin. Table next to us had roast duck, ribs and stuffed baked potato that looked appetizing.

Our waitress Kasey was amazing. She definitely made the experience a great one. And I loved the decor it was awesome.

Food wise didnt think it was versatile, kids menu limited, Some entree should be sides like the Mac and cheese.. dishes not very flavorful, particularly the fish, the pecan rice was bland and texture wasn't good ..bit less mushy and finer grain would do best ..similar to wild rice . Service wise, waiter and waitresses were all pleasant , the table gets a bit clustered quickly , so more attention to clearing the table of unwanted items would be great.. for atmosphere , great spot ..didnt get to check out the bar towards the back and I'm thinking it's probably a great area with good view overlooking the ocean..will have to go back to check it out.

I absolutely love this place. It can get a little pricey if you go all out, but there are a lot of choices so you can enjoy this unique place no matter your budget. I’ve only been in Vero a few months and we already have a favorite server there, Nina. She is the best and takes impeccable care of you. Make sure to listen to the specials, that is where the best items are.

Most of my party enjoyed their food very much. Only reason I gave it 3 stars. Do not order the "jumbo" lump crab cake. One of the smallest dishes I have seen in a while. To charge 24$ and call it jumbo is a joke. My drink stayed empty almost the whole time. When I complained about the size of the crab she walked away while I was complaining and didn't offer a solution.

This place is wonderful. We waited at the bar and was called by our server who then came over and took our drinks to the table. I have to say from the time we sat down at the bar till we left we were treated like royalty. Food was amazing! We had the crab dip to start. Then two people got the specials which were really scrumptious. I had the crab au gratin. We all finished everything. But could not think about dessert. Next time I will save room for the dessert.

Great location if you like seafood. The place was very busy and the service was first class. Halloween was the theme as you can see by the window decorations. We had reserved a window table and it was absolutely outstanding watching the pounding waves. Food and beverage was great and dessert was to die for. Looking forward to returning on next trip to FLA East-coast. Wonderful gift shop too

The wait is L O N G G G.... but worth it. Spent an hour in the bar area waiting for table. The Long Islands are very good. When we got to our table we were elated to have a window view/ ocean view, Made the whole dinner wonderful looking at the ocean. NYStrip, beet salad with cream spinach were Excellent. Fried shrimp, Flounder and pork chop were also excellent. Service was very good. Very attentive. A bit pricey. Hard to get out under $100 for two ppl plus drinks another $40. Would definately go back. Don't miss the gift shop next door. Unique gifts. Love love the salt scrub soap in bathrooms. Sold in gift shop.

This place is popular with the locals. We traveled from Lakeland, FL to have our anniversary dinner at the Ocean Grill. Unfortunately, they don't take reservations for parties less than 5 people so we had the get on the walk-in wait list. If you want ocean view seating, you need to be there in line by 4 PM to get seated at 5 PM. The food, service and atmosphere were perfect for our anniversary meal so we did enjoy ourselves in spite of the long wait. However, I'm more patient than most people.

It's a fine dining restaurant, so prices are high. The food was excellent. Service was great and right on the beach, staring at the ocean. Atmosphere is beautiful as the building is all wood and was built in the 1940s. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you haven't been. We go for special occasions. Will definitely be back again.

My all time favorite restaurant, and it's in my hometown. Totally unique and spectacular decor and views of the ocean and beach. Get there early to sit at the bar before the moon comes up. Food has always been perfect, staff terrific and most have been there forever. I try and go every time I am home, always the best meal of the week.

Our server Nina made a birthday celebration very enjoyable for us!! Highly recommend the roast duck and we had the rock crab claws as an appetizer, which were fantastic. Really enjoyed the wedge salad. Don’t skip the house made desserts either! Would skip the grouper. Such a cool and historic atmosphere! Definitely need a reservation on the weekend.

If you like seafood, this is the place to go Lobster was delicious, along with the shrimp cocktail, salads. Also they have amazing desert. Be sure to ask for Norman he made our night special. Explained everything in detail and took care of our every need.

Outstanding crab sandwich and lobster roll. Service was excellent. Drinks were amazing. My daughter and I came for lunch before going to the beach.

Absolutely loved my visit. The service was five star. From the hostess, bartender to the servers. The duck was amazing. The views with the fireplace was worth the cost of admission. The house blue cheese dressing and butter would be good on a shoe. Really enjoyed the time. Food and character of the restaurant is memorable.

You can't tell by the outside the beautiful rustic and cozy decor and feel of the restaurant. Prices were fair and food was good. Service was average. I ordered the crab burger and for dessert pecan pie a la mode.

Food was great!! Service was great! Atmosphere was great!! We did not know that even tho they open at 5pm you can put your name on the list at 4pm for an ocean front table. We got there right at 5pm and there was a line and we were about 4 rows from the windows. Still could see the water tho. The blue cheese spread lived up to the hype, we ordered the beet salad, wedge salad. Fresh catch of the day Mai Mai and broccoli. For dessert a mixed berry cobler. All was fantastic.

A friend brought me here saying they really do the place up for Holidays. So we went to see how the entire restaurant is decorated for Halloween. They do a spectacular job of decorating!!! The food and service are top of line. Food was served in no time , both meals were delicious, & our service gal Nicole went above and beyond waiting on our table. I live a few hrs away, but can't wait to go back to see the place all dazzled up for Christmas!!

We love this place! Whether you sit in the front and watch the ocean or in the back and watch the lights and people the view is splendid. The food is ALWAYS great. We Love 💕 the New England Clam Chowder. Never have we had a bad dish here!

Absolutely amazing! My husband and I ate here on our last night of our honeymoon and it did not disappoint! He got the salmon and I got the New York strip, both were so good we had to share. Most definitely would eat here again!

I was taken here for my birthday and loved it. It was extremely busy, but we were seated right away. It took about an hour before we received our food, but it was expected as it’s peak season and wasn’t a problem. The restaurant was decked out in Halloween decorations, which is actually the main reason why my family took me here. I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere and location of the restaurant in general. You are literally sitting right on the water. Our food was delicious and probably some of the most tender scallops I’ve ever had. And the staff was very friendly and attentive. I will be back for the Christmas display. I highly recommend this restaurant and making reservations in advance.

I took my lady here for her 50th birthday. We were not disappointed. This place had 2 of our favorite things, seafood and Halloween. They decorate the entire place with Halloween for the month of October. (Our favorite holiday.) Recommend stopping by and checking it out.
