The waiter was well aware she would be having a vegan pizza from next door (I actually don’t know exactly the pizza place as it was behind my seating side) early on in the seating and ordering process of your restaurant. We had asked for permission early on long before our meals arrived. The waiter appeared to have understood she was all vegan and was accommodating. I don’t know what happened in the end. Even when the vegan pizza came your waiter kindly brought out a plate and even assisted with transferring the pizza to her plate. Saw on trip advisor they are just as bad with other customers service charges and bills. Seriously a nice restaurant doesn’t need to play these games.

Food here was amazing, although it was a bit of a quiet night. It's not a cheap restaurant but I highly recommend it. Sadly one of the local rose seller guys kept coming in pestering the tables but the waiters did get rid of him.

Went there for dinner with work colleagues after a conference we were attending. Simply amazing place with really tasty food and nicely decorated dishes. It is a bit expensive but some of the dishes I had (like the risotto with squid ink) was one of the tastiest risotti I have ever had!

It’s technically a 4,5. A very nice Michelin place, great wine list, food was quite good apart from one mistake, they didn’t charge me for it. I did find it the service a bit weird: at first they didn’t want to sit me for no particular reason, that was quite confusing and the staff wasn’t particularly friendly, not sure why as well. Will come back and recommend this place.

Gave us just enough information to make a good choice and know a little about what we were drinking, without any level of pretentiousness. My worst experience in Verona. We stopped at this place after doing the Torre dei Lamberti and the Galleria d'Arte Moderna Achille Forti to have coffee and snacks. Even though the place wasn't busy at all, it took ages to place an order. When we finally got our coffee and snacks the coffee was cold. We then had to wait another 15min to get fresh one but it was still cold. The waiter was super rude and grumpy, it's been a long time since I just wanted to walk out of a place.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had the beef cheek braised in Amarone, which I enjoyed quite a lot. Perhaps the best feature of Caffè Dante, however, is the setting - right inside the Piazza dei Signori. Overlooked by most tourists, as you have to take a narrow alleyway to get to it, the piazza was a little bit magical for us. As we settled in to our meal we began to look around and notice the fabulous history of the buildings and statues, including that of Dante Alighieri himself, standing tall and imposing just a few feet from the outdoor tables. So if you have the pleasure of dining at Caffè Dante Bistrot, be sure to look around you and take in the history, art, and culture that seem to weep from every stone in the beautiful city of Verona.
