Fantastic Tapas Bar near Viana’s main square. I had the best Chorizo I’ve ever had. Roasted at the table in FireWater which is set alight in a dish. Wow! Amazing! All the other tapas had were brilliant too. And the building is so interesting and old. Great lighting and atmosphere. Superb and unique artwork on the walls that you can buy. I Can’t say enough good things about this place!

Outstanding experience! We were lucky enough to be there on a Saturday night with incredible live music. The food and cocktails were superb. The care and skill that go into each drink was evident. Be sure to plan a night here if you are visiting Viana do Costelo.

I've been looking forward to going and was very pleased with everything, it's definitely a must go here in Viana do Castelo!

Unfortunately we had little time to enjoy this quiet place in the center with excellent cuisine and very attentive service. We tried at least tapas "Alheira spheres with passion fruit creme" ("esferas de alheira com creme de maracujá") and a few glasses of white and red wine and everything was great. Thanks!

Apr 2023 have visited Palco do Picadeiro once again and as expected I was not disappointed. I had the best burger I ever had, I had the "Burger à caçador" from start to finish 1 have enjoyec every single bite. For a starter I've had the "Contas de Viana" wich, Will soon be, for sure an iconic delicacy for city of Viana do Castelo, it is a must have for each visit. The environment is cosy and full of art and decor which makes you feel in a very cosy, relaxing space The music is great and the quality of the drinks are amazing I had the chance to try one of the new cocktails "244" amazing flavour and misture :). Beutfull cocktail though

We had an extraordinary experience at Palco do Picadeiro. Enchanting atmosphere, good music and historical space creates the perfect ambience to enjoy creative, tasty tapas while sharing a bottle (or two) of local wine. Highly recommended.

Freshest mojito I ever had. Great atmosphere. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place that’s open a bit longer than usual places in town.

A quality duo live musicians performing covers set the mood and the bartenders put care into the cocktails. The food was delicious and we would go back for the passionfruit and balsamic dip alone - it's divine!
