There is a really beautiful trail with about 10km where you can explore the surroundings and then get to the waterfall and take a fresh bath and dive into the fresh waters. The waterfall is really beautiful and the lagoon is like a swimming pool, sadly as it has been happening all over the country the local authorities decided to make a road drivable by car almost next to the waterfall. This means that a place that a few time ago was like a paradise now is full of cars and crowded like a beach. Sad how easy is to ruin the essence of nature and who really wants to make a sacrifice to enjoy such a place to give it to people that don't respect it and literally open the door of the car to go to te beach and leave all the trash behind.

We had a wonderful cold water swim here. The scenery is amazing. Locals have told us it is busy in August during vacation season. A short hike upstream takes you to more and perhaps better scenery and pools to swim.

I went there with my family (adults and kids) and it was great for everyone. The landscape is pure nature with lots of trees, plants, rocks and some raspberry trees. You should be extra careful with kids (besides yourself) since some rocks can be very slippery. The path to get there can be done almost everything by car, but honestly, you enjoy better if you go by foot. Once close to the waterfall, I would say the shortest you have to walk is like 50m until you get your feet on water. In August, sunny Sunday, you may find it a bit crowded, but it's still possible to get on the water and have a swim right in the waterfall pool. If you take your lunch, you easily find some plane surfaces where you can store the bags and eat by the natural pool. It's an amazing visit. And with some luck, you may find blue dragonflies.

Be brave and make the drive as far as you can. The road does get a bit bumpy but not too challenging if your brave and sensible. Great spot for swimming in the (very) cool waters. Not too busy either.

Pinchos is a natural waterfall with crystal clear waters! In the summer try to go on week days to avoid the crowds.
