The breakfast and Phyllis, who prepared and set out the breakfast was five star plus. Excellent choices, well prepared and presented and Phyllis was focused on the guests and their needs. What a delight. 10 out of 10.

Wow. We just checked out and I am so impressed. We were delayed coming in and wound up arriving late in the night, but the front desk was entirely kind to us and helped us get situated. The entire staff from the front desk to the lobby attendants had the absolute best energy and all of them were so wonderful to us. They made our morning. The room was big, clean, and perfect for our needs. Finally, the cheese grits at breakfast were to die for! We travel this route fairly regularly and this will definitely be a place we stay on the way when we can. I was absolutely delighted with our experience.

We stayed here in mid-October on our way to Florida for a beach vacation. Room was clean, spacious and well kept. Continental breakfast was on point. Really the only negative was the pool was so cold that night, even though the outdoor temperature was like 64 degrees, that my wife and I and our kids couldn't swim.

Check in was very easy since I had a reservation. We got to our room and the carpets were wet and there was a musty smell. It felt like they had just cleaned the carpets, so we cranked the room air and went out to dinner and exploring. When we returned back the carpets were significantly drier and the smell was much improved. I really like that they have full size bottles of products like hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner. However since of our items like the lotion were either not refilled or the pump was not functioning. Very small complaints. Staff were very helpful and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was apparent. We ate the hot breakfast and it was really good! Our room came with a card to provide is with complimentary breakfast, but it is normally a small upcharge. Shout out to Mrs Phyllis! We slept comfortably with no disturbances. As a side note, the hot water gets nice and hot very fast! That's something I think is easy to take for granted, but this hotel does VERY well.

We stayed at this location in mid-October. Even though we were using a coupon for a lower rate, Laura at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. Then the best part was meeting the lady who does the breakfast buffet. She welcomed us to the serving area and made us feel like we were in her home--and the food was great! Yes, the rooms are a little dated decor-wise but the overall experience was so much more positive than any of the newer hotels where we usually stay.

Brand spanking new and beautiful. Needs some staff that clean… piles of garbage left for two days outside elevators and public areas visibly dirty but room was spotless. Perfect location for business need.

EXCELLENT hospitality, comfort, breakfast, etc. One of the best stays anywhere, ever! The staff was amazing, but the star of the entire show came the next morning. Her name was Ms. PHYLLIS...what a jewel and asset to Holiday Inn!!! Wow!! She made all of the AMAZING breakfast with plenty of variety and choices, had a smile on her face, and welcomed everyone with extreme warmth. It felt like we were eating breakfast at her house!!! Somebody give that woman an awesome raise!!! I wanted to give her all the money in my purse as a tip!!! What a great experience!! We'll never stay anywhere else in Vicksburg (if possible)!!

Stayed here on 5/20/23. Just so so gross. I picked the hotel based solely on reviews(and a positive experience at another holiday inn). I shouldn’t have trusted the reviews. It is definitely not clean. The tub didn’t drain. The bathroom wasn’t clean(hair and mold in the tub and in the grout). There was still trash in our trash can. The room had stains on the carpet and ceiling. I felt so uncomfortable. $160 for this badly maintained, disgusting room. Do not stay here. At breakfast(which is extra$), I grabbed milk for my daughters bottle. The milk was so expired it was lumpy. The family near me said it was the same for them that morning and the day before… who serves spoiled milk? I wish I could get my $ back for this stay. I seriously advise you to pick another hotel. The hotel needs a renovation and a serious deep clean. Not to mention some work on the plumbing. On a positive note.. the staff was extremely friendly.

Great room with great breakfast included. The head of housekeeping escorted us to our room and checked to insure everything was in order. This was a first for me, but very good PR.

This hotel is nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The check in personnel were wonderful. They took time to help me find my IHG number. Victoria was very friendly and extremely helpful. The bar is closed due to covid, but the indoor/outdoor pool is open. Will stay here again.

Nice clean location just off of the Mississippi. Staff was friendly and helpful. They also have a pool and gym onsite. The rooms were clean and spacious. I had no issues to report, only reason it’s not 5 stars is because I had trouble connecting to the wifi but that was probably just my fault

We stay at Holiday Inns all the time all over the country, the breakfast is usually very consistent. Not here. Horrible breakfast, no choices, no pancake machine (if you stay at Holiday Inns you know the "pancake machine" lol). Get with the program owner, everyone else is doing it right. On our trip back through we stayed somewhere else.

Good stay, son's room was warm and his FIL's room had to be switched d/t toilet issue. Not a bad stay, our room was acceptable. Breakfast was great in the mornings! Bed could have been more comfortable and pool was ice cold.

The check-in process was quick and easy. When we arrived at our room, I noticed right away something was wrong with the air conditioner. The room was over 90 degrees. The air coming out of the unit was not blowing as cold or as fast as it should have been. We immediately went back to the front desk to request another room. Rather than taking my word for it and just giving us another room, the employee made us wait there while she went up to the room to “investigate.” She eventually returned to inform us that the air conditioner actually WAS working properly, and we just needed to give it “ten minutes.” So I yielded and took my children back to eat dinner in the 90+ degree hotel room. We gave it about 45 minutes, and it still wasn’t getting any cooler. So I returned to the front desk, now covered in sweat, and again requested another room. This time, she did get us into a different room. When we got to the room that we would be sleeping in that night, we were surprised to discover it was a smoking room, which smelled pretty badly (thanks a lot). We had specifically requested a non-smoking room. But the air conditioner was working, and we were exhausted, so we just gave up and went to sleep. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to come off the road and get some rest, look elsewhere. It is also under major construction, and you can’t come in the front door.

Good basic accommodations. Bathroom was missing usual toiletries that Holiday Inns typically offer. As with most hotels I wish pool opened earlier & closed later; didn't get to use their unique indoor-outdoor pool. They advertise an on-site restaurant, but it is no longer open; fortunately there is a great Mexican restaurant right next door. Rooms on front of hotel can hear highway which is only a couple hundred yards away.

Good hotel for affordable price. Not the best though. No daily room service and no extra towel available. Requested room service and they forgot to do it. Good option for breakfast and friendly servers. Also good location for ERDC people. Close location with minimum commute. Good food options near by as well.

The hotel itself was nice. Every member of staff that we encountered was nice. The rooms weren't the nicest that I've ever been in, but they weren't bad either. Really the only reason I gave four stars instead of five was because of the bed mattress. As someone who has lower back and hip issues the mattress was very uncomfortable. If I had one suggestion to make the place better it would be to invest in some better mattresses.
