The room I had was clean and nicely furnished. However there’s no reasonable parking for a truck and trailer. Yes you can get one in the lot but will be forced to back out onto a 4 lane busy street. I was adamant that I was 12’ wide oversize load and they said we have plenty of room. They are liars. Other than that a nice place to stay with plenty of eating joints close by. Their lobby is closed as well so don’t expect any coffee or breakfast.

Room was good.. beds were great. Overall the cleanliness was good except for the floors.. it was a pet friendly room so it had hardwood floors and they were filthy.. turned your feet or socks black. The free breakfast was coffee.. juice and granola bars. The thing that made this stay enjoyable was the "I believe to be" the night manager.. I wished I would have gotten her name as she was spectacular. So polite and willing to go out of her way to help.. she was totally fantastic

We were impressed when we walked in room how clean and nice it was. Had everything we needed. If there was anything else we needed the lady at desk said to call her anytime. We loved the pillows for comfort and the bed was comfortable. Temperature in room was perfect when we walked in. Felt safe safe there. Morning staff very friendly. Thankyou.

It was a nice stay. Carpeted floors, new furniture and decor. The room was very cute. It was also clean and smelled good. The bed was comfortable. I loved the lamps! They each had an outlet and USB port. There was only shampoo in the room no conditioner and for breakfast there are only granola bars. The pool is outside.

Zero stars would be my choice! The place was not clean in any way, inside or out. There was trash on the grass outside. There were stains on the wall and ceiling of the room. The microwave would not heat the food. The bathroom was filthy. There was hair on the wall along with something splattered on the door. The tub and shower wall looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in months. It was by far the nastiest place I’ve ever stayed.

Great friendly staff. Booked a room for 3 nights and this was an amazing deal, 10/10 service from Jack I believe his name was at the front desk. Couldn't be happier. Just respect the rules and you'll have zero issues.

The older gentleman who was working the front desk by far is an awesome caring person and he made the stay most pleasant

Filthiest place we’ve ever stayed. Hair all on the bathroom floors, tub was so dirty that your feet left marks on the tile, who knows when the carpet had been vacuumed last, don’t consider their choice of two cereals being “free breakfast”, pool was brown, green and out of service (in July 🙄), broken down vehicles in the parking lot, people were living there and had dirty laundry and shoes hanging on the rails outside their door. If it wasn’t a last minute decision to stop at 8pm on our way back to Tx, we’d demanded our money back and went somewhere else. Keep in mind, I’m not a glitzy gal and motel 6 suits me fine, but this was horrible.

My hotel room was very clean, comfortable, warm and cozy. The staff here are very friendly, helpful and respectful. The price for the room was excellent I would definitely stay here again.

Dirty floor. Filthy tub. Stained sheets. Refrigerator had standing water in it. Traveling with family. Employee gave me the vacuum to vacuum my own room! We changed rooms. No better. They did give us extra clean sheets that we put on the bed. Breakfast of packaged granola bars and coffee.

I enjoyed my stay at the Howard Johnson in Vicksburg! My room was clean with no issues, the water was hot, and the owners were kind and hospitable. Obviously it’s a budget hotel so I didn’t come in expecting great quality, but I was pleasantly surprised. It got the job done well at a very affordable affordable price, so really can’t complain.

Expected worse. But, the room is clean. The bathroom ventilation fan works. And it was quiet! The mattress slept good. I personally might ask for an additional pillow and blanket. They provide 3 medium pillows for two people. I hog the blanket so I could have used an extra. Would stay again. Price was right.

While the staff was friendly and courteous, the establishment was very poor. Checked in and headed to the room, noticed the parking lot was strewn with cigarette butts and beer caps. Bad sign 1. Went in and immediately noticed a gigantic cockroach experiencing death spasms on the bathroom floor. Easily the largest I've ever seen. Picked it up with a wad of TP and flushed it, noticed the tub was blackish inside. General state of the room was run down and each room had a dehumidifier in it which I'm guessing was a sign the air conditioners weren't working well. I can handle an older room in need of updates, but a cockroach like something in Fallout 3 is too much for. Staff was understanding and refunded my charges.

Today, I called and set a reservation, however the non-speaking English employee chose to want to charge my wife's card and not mine. I found that very uncustomary and had her move to a different hotel. Choose a different hotel.

Rooms are dated but clean. Front desk clerk was very nice and stay was good for the price point. Definitely recommend for a stay.

The room was not clean!!! There was a broken desk chair with stains on it. There were shoe prints on the floor. The lamp shade had stains on it. The bathroom floor was dirty. The tub was stained and looked dirty and the walls in the shower needed cleaning.

What a pleasant stay! My room was clean and odor free. Everything in the room worked as it should. The bed was firm but comfortable. The room had apparently been recently updated and was modern and colorful. There was even a dehumidifier! The manager who checked me in was absolutely great. The hotel foot print is nestled in to the side of a hill that seems to shield it from the noise of the nearby roads so it was surprisingly quiet. Felt quite safe here as well.

Dirty rooms. Rude owner. Loud parties with no intervention from the owner operator. All the way till 3:00 am. No apologies and nothing but granola bar for thier free continental breakfast. Stay at the Super 8 at 4127 I-20 Frontage rd.. you won't be disappointed.. This place takes pride in what they offer....

We tried to change hotels, but because we booked on line we could not. The room has no smoke detector. Pretty sure this is against the law. The pool has an inch of slime in the corners of the steps and slime streaks throughout. There was a nasty dried bandaid on the pool deck. We had to wait for someone to unlock the pool as well. The life saving equipment for the pool was not up to most codes. Not sure what the code is for MS. Will not stay here again and definitely would not recommend even though the rooms smell fairly clean.

Definitely could have been better. Carpet was dirty. It is time to replace the carpet and wipe the walls or repaint them. Tubs were stained so buy you some flip flops. Customer service was decent. You can skip the breakfast.

Boyfriend and I stopped here on our way to Florida for a few hours of shut eye and quick shower. The place is clean and the water is good. Night receptionist was very sweet and the owner in the morning was very customer service oriented. It’s not a 5 star hotel so don’t expect all the amenities, but it’s a comfortable, quick place to stay for a good value. Would stay here again!

Can we please take gross old carpet out of hotels??? This place was not the best. The carpet was gross, the bathroom area was not clean. Non-smoking meant sit on the sidewalk and smoke so it can go into all the rooms.... Breakfast was a joke (granola bars, orange juice, and coffee). The towels were ragged and never enough of them. The bed and pillows smelled clean and the staff was very friendly.

Spoke with the delightful owner! He truly cares that you enjoyed your stay. I had a nice big room. Food, gas and grocery store nearby. Easy access to the historic downtown! Loved it

Fairly priced, convenient, and clean. The owner is very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and were pleasantly surprised with the rooms and service. Don't be fooled by the low price, the owner is awesome and made sure we had a comfortable stay. He let us check the room for the smell of smoke and was overall very friendly and helpful
