Signed up as a member the other week, average gym nothing special compared to any others i have trained at. Advertisements of $9.69 weekly no lock in is quite misleading as you are charged monthly and they require at least 30 days notice before your contract ends. Gym equipment is in quite poor condition, would expect it to be maintained alot better considering how large the revo franchise is.

This was two weeks ago, I called the gym and enquired about a personal trainer. I had a chat with one of their Personal trainers and scheduled an appointment but there was a massive miscommunication from the personal trainer, she did not inform me that she exhausted her clientele and cannot take anymore clients. Why would you confirm or schedule an appointment and then all of a sudden you say that you cannot take anymore clients. This was extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate as I was keen to joining the gym and selected the personal trainer of my choice. The manager (poppy), she is extremely rude and has some sort of arrogant tone when I spoke to her over the phone. I explained the above incident to her and I was frustrated with the unprofessional service. She's not even considering or rectifying the issue instead she retaliated with an extremely 'rude' tone. If a manager is behaving that way then I'd doubt how the employees would be. It says all about the management how pathetic it is when they communicate. In addition, I felt undermined when I spoke to her over the phone. Whoever is joining this gym, think twice before going there. The manager is pathetic and unprofessional.

Not really able to give a review for Revo's business, but instead a review of the compassion of their staff. I want to send a HUGE thank you to the Revo staff who helped my Mum last week when she had a fall across the road. They stayed with her the entire time, called us so we could get there for her and an ambulance, made sure she was warm and as comfortable as she could be in the circumstances. It was a wonderful example of the best of people and really made a difference for how well my Mum was able to recover. Thank you so much Revo staff, you are amazing!! PS. In case you're wondering Mum is fine now after a few hours in emergency being checked over. She has a few decent bruises but otherwise back to her usual determined self ;-)

not happy. i went to cancel my membership today with an understanding that my membership will be cancelled within 30 days of day of cancellation but i was advised that i will still be direct debited for next payment which is due on 16th of OCT and hence i will still need to pay until 18 of November. When u join they clearly tell you that you only need to tell us a month before the cancel date. I feel i have been robbed and made to pay extra money. Very cunning and dishonest organization. I wont trust them again

Price is good but too many members have been allowed to join so can be incredibly busy. Maintenance is terrible! In the 3+ years I’ve been going here the only thing they have done is paint the walls & ceiling black to cover the mould. Gym is always dirty and cleaners barely do anything whenever I’ve seen them in there. Machines are basic and a lot have issues and need fixing/replacing. Considering how nice some of the other Revo gyms look this ones has to be one of the worst, yet we pay the same membership fee.

Comparing it to other revos, the machine variety is very limited and this is the only revo with no boxing bag, the staff promised there would be one but that was already a month ago, even before the renovation the bag is never replaced, also no place to put or hang your stuff on downstair toilet. Last but not least the massage chair is much better at cannington revo and the lights downstair near the squatting area is too bright.

Good gym, but why is there no aircon or ventilation? This gym is literally a sauna , obviously we’re all going to sweet but this is a bit much 😂

I don’t recommend this gym. 1) No Parking 2) if parked somewhere probably have to walk 300 mtrs 3) No back door entry 4) No proper Machines 5) Always have some issue with Machines I can go on and on

This place has consistently the worst communication possible. Some of us are extremely busy, and don't have time to wait around during staffed hours for staff who aren't even at their desk. Been waiting for at least half an hour to speak to someone at the desk, nobody in sight. I have tried calling more than five times every single day for six days prior to figuring "I'll just drive there" and every day it goes to voicemail. It's completely unacceptable. There were about six people who had all been waiting alongside me who simply needed to be tagged in so they could work out. Really annoying as a night shift worker that the one day I've finally had free to try and upgrade my membership, nobody is even available. And when someone does pick up the phone, you get one word answers from someone who sounds like they don't want to be there. Thinking of changing gyms.

Update Pros 1 Cheap and relatively easy to park at the back 2 staff do go around and clean some equipment 3 easy communication with management Cons 1 Too busy ( sporadic gym session , hard to follow a routine because machines generally busy) 2 Gym equipment quite old 3 Maintenance of building and toilets really poor, with a lot of water damage. Buckets on floors . Urgently needs an upgrade- some renovations happening last week of August 4 terms and conditions misleading. 30 days cancellation plus one whole month billing cycle ( so definitely locked it for more than 5 weeks...) 5 towel policy not reinforced ( trainers train people without towels) 6 shoe policy signage stating that people must wear shoes. However not reinforced. 7 not enough toilets and showers

Its a well equipped gym and worth every penny you pay. Easy access. Only downside I see is that its too crowded. Equipments are always taken in peak hours and you got to wait for sometime for your turn.

Good place very clean, perfect for exercise. Excellent attention

Been a member now 12mths really good vibe. Only downside is I get frustrated with people sitting on the equipment with their phones. Ask one guy if I can use told me f off

Great gym with easy 24/7 access. Now that it’s been renovated there’s updated machines to use. Revo gives you access to all gyms over the state (unsure on country) which is handy.

Been about 2 months now. Gym itself has been good. The showers however are a joke. It literally looks like the floor has been carpeted with a delightful array of pubic hair every time you open either shower door. If there are only two showers to service all the guys using it. One would assume you may need to clean it more regularly than a change room with 10 showers. But lets be honest. The showers are clearly not ever cleaned properly. Have been going to Cannington Revo as well, and their showers are absolutely fine.

Awesome gym. Great, friendly staff. Good equipment and space. Love working out at the Vic Park Revo.

I love this gym. They have a variety of equipment and machines and plenty of cardio machines. Best part is the HIIT FIT section. Just 1 star off as it lacks a cycle with a back rest, which would be great for pregnant women and people with back problems.

Facilities have been neglected and seems to be slowly shrinking as half the top floor has been closed indefinitely so no more free weights space or boxing bags and heaps less smith racks and benches now so just seems that much more crowded even when there's hardly anyone there

Equipment is a bit outdated and some broken equipment still hasn't been fixed or replaced. The renovation works have been going on for a while and don't seem to be ending any time soon.

Needs alot of maintenance, literally had trafic cones with tape fencing off random areas. cleaner literally vacuumed around my feet while I did curls.

Good gym but old equipment need a better cleaner and exhaust fan in toilets.

Cheap and convenient. Bring a full water bottle, this one has been out of order for weeks.

It does the job. Equipment and building is extremely dated. Lots of water damage and mould issues which is concerning considering the amount of air everyone's breathing in whilst working out. PTs are not attentive and hard to book sessions with. Would rather make the extra travel to use a new Revo gym that has upgraded equipment, healthy buildings and responsive staff.
