Amazing place, historical museum on open, with two gorgeous churches and wonderful views on a whole landscape of Gozo island... Worth to visit! You will learn a lot about Maltese history and stay out of breath of nature beauty!

Old fortress with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The multi ticket was good value for money

The Cittadella is one of the call out attractions on the Island of Gozo. There's a number of different museums plus the Cittadella Visitor Centre which was personally a little disappointing but as it is included in the entry price and you get to sit down and watch a movie you might appreciate the break! We didn't have much time here overall for a number of reasons so would like to return and explore some more.

Really well done, Citadella is well preserved and the visitor centre is really interesting (this from someone who doesn't like visitor centres).

The magical Citadella in the heart of Gozo Island, located on the edge of Victoria, exudes unreal beauty, beautiful place, great view of the island, landscape to enjoy, for the full experience you must buy a ticket for visiting the small museums, decent price

Cittadella was Amazing!!! We have visited different castles on this trip in different countries and this was the most complex. It walls and gates and one set walls higher than the next. Stairs and alleys that made you feel like you were in a Maze. Lots of ups and downs and some dead ends. It's one castle built on and around a previous one multiple times over hundred's if not a thousand plus years. This piece of land has been a defensive point for centuries and they have the Archeology finds to prove it. Most people can go through the castle property in a couple of hours. My wife and I spent over 5 hours and didn't see everything because many things onsite close at 1 pm (1300) on Sundays. Definitely worth the visit and pay the $5 Euro for the Museum Ticket because it gets you into all the Museums on the grounds. There is one house that is worth the fee.

The Cittadella Visitor centre is a good introduction to the history of Gozo. It is accessible with a multi ticket. It colourful interactive displays are in various languages. The multi-media display you enter is entertaining.
