What a snob hotel!! I didn't stay in Four seasons seychelles at the time of writing so this review is not about that. I actually happened to be in a restaurant closeby and thought I'll pass by the Four Seasons for a drink in one of their bars. Apparently if you want to visit one of the bars even for a simple drink, you have to reserve 24 hours in advance 🤣! And the way that message was delivered to me from the reservation lady!! Omg I thought I'm talking to His Highness Waleed Bin Talal himself 🤣! Like I understand a reservation is needed for dinner maybe, but a drink in a bar!! Those managing the hotel really think so much of themselves that it is a joke 😂😂! I love Four Seasons brand so I'm gonna keep my view to Seychelles only and tell those in charge just one thing: Shame on you.. And to you visitors of Seychelles who also do not tolerate bullying like me; cancel Four Seasons Seychelles, especially when you can easily afford it.. There are nicer people to deal with in the Paradise!

Dear Four Seasons Management, Altought this is not a review based on my staying at your hotel/villa in Mahe, i was a visitor of the public beach -Petit Anse on which the private property is. When asked to have something to drink we were told that only clients are able to do that or visitors with prior booking (2/24h before), even though it was almost no one staying at the tables from the bar. Plenty of tables were not taken, and we asked even if we could buy a drink and leave... But were told that this is against the POLICY. This is the first and hopefully the only place that has this policy in the world. Given that the beach is for everyone, visitors included, you should at least sell drinks or food - based on availability of course, to the visitors that are willing to pay the money. Hope this will serve for other people, future visitors of the beautiful beach.

I have stayed in four seasons Seychelles for five nights last November, staff were helpful and friendly, beach is spectacular, tried the spa and it was a nice experience, but the down side in this hotel is the insects in the roof of the villa they really have to add a good roof insulation material to prevent the insects to come from outside or to change the roofs as there are wholes between the Wooden panels

Simply breathtaking. We stayed for a few days on our honeymoon and were simply blown away with just how good everything was. The villa we had was based high up in the hilltop with an ocean view (you do need to pay extra for that), the bed, pool and bathrooms were pristine and luxurious. The breakfast buffets in the morning are huge and delicious. All communication is by whatsapp and the wifi is great. The beach is beautiful - it's really just perfect. They also went the extra mile with surprise and delight. We have high standards and this place exceeded everything.

An extremely bad experience. Arriving at the hotel beach, as tourists, you cannot serve anything from their bar without prior reservation, given that at 12.00 PM, all the tables were free. Extremely high prices for any product, you assume that you pay and they still do not receive you. A poor management decision, given that tourism is the object of activity. To effectively refuse to sell food and drink when you are supposed to do that... I do not recommend it to tourists who only visit Petite Anse, where access to the beach is conditional on passing through the resort.

I’m so happy we chose this stunning hotel for our honeymoon. Everything about it was perfect and beyond! From the incredible views from the villa, the beautiful beach, the respectful architecture with nature, and the service was the best we have ever received! Even the food was excellent. All of the staff is super friendly and attentive, they really took care of us and I wish I would have done my entire honeymoon trip at this hotel. You can tell the staff is very happy, and I’m very grateful to everyone for making our honeymoon so special. Thank you to all of you! We will definitely recommend this to all of our friends and family.

The experiance of the beautiful beach is destroyed by the horrible Four Seasons staff. They behave very unpolite, unfriendly and very arogant. You don't want to comeback anymore to any Four Seasons hotel. Every person told you different information. One person tell you, that you can have a food in the restaurant, after another person kick you out. The security at the entrance tell you, that you can use bar and after the golf car will take you back. In the empty restaurant they don't want to give you even drinks and after you have to go by walk 20min. Even when you have small kids, who cry and you desperately asking them to ride you to the entrance, they tell you just No, Sorry. But during the walk they are going with empty car 20times around you. Really disappointment, my friends have the same bad memories. You make a bad name to all FS group.

AMAZING!!! We just passed by to see the beach and were received with so much LOVE. Definitely a place to stay in when visiting, especially with kids as well as it provides so many activities for them. Thank you for taking care of us.

I didn’t stay in this hotel, but I was trying to get access for facilities of the this hotel, as a last day in Seychelles. (As my experience in Seychelles-book 5 star hotel, and forget problems) I booked private villa, but the last day of my vacation I want spent in the Hotel, restaurant - bar - pool-beach…)) BAR and Restaurant I can’t use🤣🤣🤣 You know staff of hotel I can use only PUBLIC BEACH😅😅😅😅 Unfortunately- that hotel was occupied and they can’t giving access. (Excuse from Staff) They said I can use public beach)) it’s FREE 😥 … So, then there is RAINING-nobody help us reach our gate, “STAFF” just passing us, and even they didn’t ask, do we need help?) it’s just simple- Problems of the Seychelles hotels - NOT customer service at all)))) for the price which we are paying. So, there is no point blaming this hotel, i hope management will change, and I hope new management will be with experience from UAE)) coz Dubai 3* hotel provide better quality service then all Seychelles other hotel. Btw* 🤣🤣🤣 I tried call customer service and sales team of the other hotels, Kempinskiy, Anantara… same situation…. No script to close the lead, all of them - need check with manager… 🙈 Ya) halas… Thank you Seychelles 🙏

One of the most amazing resorts in Seychelles. The best Four Seasons I visited so far, and I've seen a few. The beach is stunning, deffinately the best in the area. The staff was very nice and thoughtful. Special thanks to Kevin who made our beach days better, always helpful and anticipating our needs. We will come back again for sure.

We had a great rest. The beach is simply incredible, excellent entrance to the water, sandy bottom and a beautiful coral reef along the edges of the bay, coral slippers are not needed. Excellent service, although there were occasional hiccups with the buggy operation. The villa is incredibly comfortable and well equipped. Good spa and gym. All evening restaurants are delicious, the chef is very skillful with meat in the Steak Restaurant. Of the minuses I'd like to highlight: - it wasn't always possible to get in SPA at a convenient time, - lack of toilet brushes. This is generally some kind of wildness, which puts all participants in an awkward position, and disrespectful to the staff. - a very limited lunch menu consisting mostly of fast food and generally the only restaurant available at lunchtime. At least a couple of types of pasta or other healthier food should be added. From the pros: - stunning location and chic architectural work. We felt absolutely private in our villa and enjoyed every corner of it. - a beautiful beach and excellent beach equipment. Right on the beach a cream with SPF 50 is available, cool drinking water, snow-white towels. You can take canoes, catamarans and saps, as well as masks and fins, vests, support boards and go snorkeling. - Excellent housekeeping and delivery of small edible treats. Good coffee machine in the room. -Pleasant area on the roof of the spa, you can drink champagne while watching the sunsets. - Delicious evening restaurants. I would especially like to mention the work of sommelier Jerald, he is very inspired by his work and we always enjoyed talking with him, as my husband loves to talk about wine. It's nice to see when a person is so inspired by what he does. Overall I recommend this hotel if overspending doesn't hurt you)

Awful service for the price we paid. The beach is nice but that’s about it. It’s overly expensive and very unsafe and dirty. The entry staff couldn’t find our reservation and made us walk the entire way. We left early and went somewhere else. We expected more! 2/5 very disappointed

I can write only about the beach. It's amazing, the water is clear, there is no low tide, there are many fish and you can easily snorkel and see them. Highly recommend. This is the best beach we saw on Mahe.

Four Seasons Seychelles is absolute perfection. This was our first time staying at a Four Seasons hotel and we were so impressed by the staff who went above and beyond to treat us like we were very special guests. Everything about the hotel, from the staff, food, location, and amenities, was top notch. I have traveled all over the world and I have yet to come across a hotel with the same level of service. Thank you Four Seasons Seychelles for an unforgettable experience!

Pjs of the most beautiful resorts in the world. Went there for my honeymoon and the experience was great. Great views great rooms great service and great food. I would note that the Villa swimming pool water was very cold and that the cooking classes were a bit underwhelming, but other than that, everything was perfect.

Bar none - this was my favorite hotel experience in the world. From the time of arrival you are faced with sheer beauty. Registration had the most fantastic views over the resort from on high. On the way to our villa the golf cart driver took us on a tour up one side of the resort to the other, each with fantastic views. The villas were beautifully appointed, with fantastic views. The personal plunge pool was such a treat in evenings, even though it’s hard to imagine more perfection than the beach. And the small extras they deliver to you beachside, including the box of drinks, meets your every comfort. Obviously with this level of service comes expense, and that’s no different for meals. The included breakfast was so diverse and fabulous, but even more special was the Steak Shack. The name engenders something rustic and inexpensive, but it was the most fabulous meal! It’s been over a year and I still have dreams about the Picanha I had beachside. I don’t know if I’ll make it this far again…there are many Four Seasons in exotic locales calling my name - but this remains number one on my list!

What more can you ask for when you have the perfect of everything. The efficiency of the buggy services is unbelievable, the food is delicious, the cocktails amazing, the staff across the resort are superb.

I have traveled to many resorts around the world but I would rate this four seasons in the top three. Amazing location with one of the most beautiful picturesque back drops. They have a slogan "welcome to paradise", I would say it's not that far off. Rooms are massive and spacious with all the amenities, the beach is one of the best I have been to. The staff are good but some just find it hard to smile. Also in the housekeeping staff they always miss the little details. For example we had a used plate sitting on the table and for three days no one touched it or moved it or ...... Lastly the food, chef Hassan is the executive chef and with his team they do a fantastic job my hats off to them. Enjoy your stay

The hotel is situated in a green hill with tropical vegetation. The rooms are fantastic with mountain and sea views. The hotel beach is the best in Mahe (just ask any local) and the food is amazing. It's the ideal location to stay and use as a base for excursions to the other islands in Seychelles. The service could use some refinement & it is rather pricey but it still deserves a 5 star review all things considered.

Every thing about the beach is amazing- clean white sand, clear blue and green waters and pretty little fishes swimming alongside you. The view of the ocean from the hill is breathtaking. The beach is very beautiful and worth visiting.

We stayed at the hotel for our wedding and I don’t have enough words to thank Debra the wedding planner and her team for organizing our big day, we always felt confident when she’s around and the way she handled the event prior to our arrival and throughout the ceremony. Also to mentioned Allen - Director of rooms and his team for the great hospitality and warm welcoming BIG THANKS TO All Four Seasons Seychelles team.

The worst hotel staff works here. We went there for lunch first they told us we are not allowed to have lunch in the restaurant because of covid restrictions(the place was empty) but we can buy water and enjoy on the beach but after 5 min they changed their mind and didn't want to sell us a bottle of water on 31°C we headed to go on another place and no one wanted to transport us to the entrance up in the hill and they were even rude and making jokes

⛔️YOU’VE BEEN WARNED⛔️ -NO HOT WATER. After paying thousands per night, this cheap resort will intentionally limit your hot water so severely that you can’t even fill the bath tub! Initially no one informed me so I sat confused in my cold bath🤮 You even have to keep your AC at a certain cold temperature otherwise the hot water will restrict even more!! Freezing room, freezing shower, how great. -The King size bed is definitely a QUEEN. I’m 5”3 and with all the pillows in place my feet dangled off. -Food is 3x as expensive as Maldives and is gross. How do you mess up burger and fries? Even the hashbrowns and bacon had an awful flavour so I asked them to change the oil type and it was still gross. Eggs 🍳 always dark on the bottom and liquidy on top. -Birds will walk on your utensils before you put them in your mouth, guaranteed. -Buggies are always needed to move around the resort yet sometimes they take up to 20 minutes! -Manager rang down my phone to apologize about the cold water then offered me a plate of chocolate to be delivered- surprise, it never was. -Very slow food service. Waited 25mins with no water at breakfast one day. Multiple servers dropped off other things but never noticed we didn’t receive water… I asked one lady and she didn’t get it... Got myself up, walked over to the servers desk, grabbed a bottle of water and poured it for my table smh. Once, a dinner server wouldn’t stop harassing us, what is going on at Four Seasons?? CONCLUSION: this is not the luxury bucket list experience you are expecting and you will ask yourself “Why am I here and why didn’t I just return to the Maldives?”

Very bad experience with this hotel :( I won’t recommend. We came to use the facilities (in Dubai you can come to any hotel and use their facilities for the specific amount of money or even come and just eat at the restaurant). Here - NO. They don’t offer packages, we were not a big group, just 2 ppl. We couldn’t use their pool nor restaurant, nor the bar, only beach was free, however you can’t take a bed, and there are no towels or available changing room. We left our car at the entrance gate and on the way back it started raining, we were completely wet, however not a single transfer car passing by empty offered to drop us, even for money. Way to the car took very long, because you almost climbing up. It was awful experience.

Amazing hotel. The beach is amazing and villas are well appointed. Expensive, but for a once in a lifetime type of experience well worth the visit. Seychelles is heaven on earth.

  • 1/5 Irina R. 1 year ago on Google
Not a guest, only visited the beach - awful experience! They are not informing you when you enter the hotel about the fact that on their beach you are not allowed to buy anything to drink, not even a water. After a 300-400m walk, you arrive on the beach and they tell you that because of covid restrictions, the drinks are for guests only. Currently staying at Hilton Nottholme, this experience made me to never choose this hotel. Of course I understand the Covid limitations, but it would be fair on your side to let know the visitors about the measures taken inside so that they know before entering your area. Good luck

Everything about this resort was absolutely amazing!!! I came here for my honeymoon for 6 nights and everything was just perfect. No detail was left untouched!! Service was top notch. Food was top notch. Rooms were super clean.. and the view from the villa is absolutely spectacular!! We want to thank Kevin for all of your hard work - you are amazing! Thank you for seasons for our amazing honeymoon trip! ❤️

Such a wonderful resort!! Perfect location. The villas are huge and has beautiful views. The staff make this resort extra special. They really go above and beyond to help. Each and every request from us was fulfilled. The check in process was amazing with Merte and then Negil at the front desk provided all the information about the island. Ayushi the manager at the breakfast and Zez bar was super efficient and catered to all our vegan requests. Terrance the super head chef at Kannel bar made awesome customized food. Highly highly recommend this resort and definitely going back.

One of the most amazing resorts. The beach is pristine with white sand, only that the sea is a bit rocky so swimming or going out into the water can be a bit uncomfortable

  • 5/5 Patrick B. 1 year ago on Google
Stunning hotel. Very expensive and very difficult to find availability but absolutely worth it. The beach is spectacular - especially at sunset - and the villas are amazing. Food is of the highest quality and customer service exceptional. One evening my girlfriend and I were walking home as the sun was setting and the hotel manager drove past on a buggy, noticed us, told us we were missing out so pointed out a great viewing spot to sit down at and then had a complimentary glass of champagne sent to each of us. Completely unexpected, but a touch of class. If you can find availability, definitely book this hotel!

You won't get a hot shower or bath. They regulate the water temperature by your A/C thermostat setting. You must increase the temperature of your room to get hot water. We stayed in two separate villas here and went above the 25°C/77°F threshold they told us to 30°C/86°F A/C setting. The water got warmer yes but never steaming hot. Very disappointing for our honeymoon bath we took overlooking the gorgeous view of the sunset and bay. The beach has a nice shallow area for swimming but we found it to be too crowded with chairs. Not enough room to feel exclusive like a Four Seasons. It also is a public beach. Absolutely no one used the pool and it had an awkward layout. There were more kids at the resort than expected, especially for our honeymoon. The room was well appointed, the breakfast buffet is a feast to beholden, the onsite staff is warm and attentive. 5 stars to the staff.
