Wow! I say this place is road trip worthy. We had bacon burgers, chicken tenders, fries, tots, and onion rings. Every bite was great. The bacon was probably the best I've ever had on a burger out with a thick crisp cut. We also had the delicious cookies-n-cream and strawberry milkshakes. It looked like they carry delicious homemade desserts as well. They staff were all friendly and the place was nice. Some may say it is a bit dated, but the bathrooms were clean and the memories on the wall have a personal touch. I'm planning on this being one of my standard stops when passing through the area.

While driving through Victoria, TX, we seen this place across the street from where we were getting gas. So we decided to go there for a late lunch & was so happy we did. The girl at the counter was so nice & friendly. We both had cheeseburgers that were just delicious & the fries were nice & hot. They have this seasoning on the table called "Slap ya Mama" I had never heard of it, so I gave it a try & put it on my fries & just loved it. It was spicy, but I like it spicy. When we finished, we were both so full & happy to have such a nice meal in an unexpected place, I love when that happens. They have a great little place here, you won't be disappointed.

We stopped in our way to the north for a quick lunch. Burgers were very good and affordable. Would return if I lived closer.

Food was good and prices, no complaints. Menu was a little small and the inside diner, but they have a drive through. I had a BLT Sandwich and onion rings. I will be going back soon to try more food. The lady at the register was nice.

Good food at great prices is the hallmark of Jim's Big Burger! The only shortcoming is seating, they need more room - that's a good problem for business but bad for the lunch bunch. I thoroughly enjoyed the Burger, and the onion rings were awesome, and the cake was perfect - I had a piece of Key Lime! I hope that this family owned eatery can spread their wings and build back bigger, but whether they do or not, I'll be back! Hungry? Come grab a bite. You're gonna love it!

Best burgers in town! My choice of burger bacon cheeseburger. Burger taste amazing and fries are also hot and fresh. Oh and the okra is crispy never soggy. I like that I can pour my own ketchup and I don't have to open 20 ketchup packets. I am not a cake fan BUT they have several different cakes that look so good. Establishment is clean and service is always friendly. If the family isn't a burger fan no worries they have a variety of other options.

So, the word is Jim’s has been around for over fifty years same location and only one location. Had the double, all the way, with cheese, medium fries - let’s not forget the medium onion rings (HEY, I hadn’t eaten all day.) The way they nestled the burger in the cornered wrapper was a welcome change. It was filling by itself (burger - not the wrapper). Fries and onion rings were both good. It appeared that they came as a large ordered, not medium. But, I’m not complaining. Anyway highly recommend Jim’s Big Burgers! You won’t be disappointed! Now, u go do u!

One of my top 3 burger restaurants. Traditional, "simple is the best" burger. I like their cafeteria-like atmosphere.

Get the bacon burger if you eat pork. The bacon is thick cut & it’ll make your taste buds very happy. The tots are delicious. Good prices. I’ll probably order the bacon burger again but add jalapeños.

Only reason I give it 2 stars and not 1 is because the food was hot and the lady in the drive thru was nice. The food though had absolutely no flavor what so ever. The burger was a frozen patty. The only thing that gave it flavor was the mayo lol. Fries no salt at all! Steak finger basket was frozen, steak fingers no flavor either. Toast that came with it was just plain bread. I'm guessing they forgot to toast it lol. The gravy was a small 1/2 oz container, wasn't nearly enough for the fries or steak fingers. Me and my husband are both still hungry. We won't be going back. We were told this place was amazing.. well not for us.
