This place is fabulous, perfect for a birthday party, a night out with friend or a first date. I’ve done all three just this month and will always recommend this restaurant. If you are thinking about trying it DO! GO FOR IT! The price is so reasonable and worth the food, you can taste the sushi’s is always freshly made, the tempura hot and tasty. No matter what time of the day their food always fresh and good. The menu is very nice, a lot of choice and you have a hot counter top in the middle of the table and you cook your sides, meat and vegetables. The employees always greets you with the biggest smile, ready to help, sing happy birthday, take pictures for you and they always offer! Late or early there something in their water because they are always happy to have you here. Just try it yourself.

Always great food and great service when we eat here. Both the Korean BBQ items as well as the sushi are delicious. Great place to come as a group to eat. There's something special about grilling food at your own table!

The food tastes great and the service is really nice as well! They are welcoming and fast. The guy with the tattoos gave us this beautiful fried ice cream too! Would definitely recommend coming here :)

I was quite impressed with this Korean BBQ restaurant, I've been to a few and this one is just as good as the ones in the city. I really like the way they serve the meals on individual platters and the services very fast. So you can reorder as you wish without much wait. They have all sorts of dishes including chicken, steak, shrimp, fruits and vegetables, and everything was quite good. The sake 🍶 was also very good. The prices are fair, I wouldn't say it's a great deal, but it is all you can eat, thus depending on your appetite your value will vary. The only things that I would change are the TVs that are constantly playing k-pop and are very distracting for children and the disposable chopsticks, I would prefer to have reusable ones.

Reviews are biased. They literally give free deserts to customers that leave a review. Go figure. The rating would naturally be much lower if they didn't do this. Sushi was not good at all. I didn't have any meat but my friends did. They request that you cook your food on a baking sheet (check my photo). In fact, this slows down the cooking process and takes away the "grilling" taste and experience. It's quite nasty tbh. Lastly, the automatically add a 15% service fee, which is a tip, but they ask it as mandatory, I always tip but I find that still very odd. . & when after that they even requested to give more if we enjoyed the service. The customer service was great on the other hand. The waiters were very respectful and have a great attitude. Deserts were amazing as well.

Had the most amazing KBBQ experience at Kimpo !! Friendly staff, food was spot on and cocktails were delicious ! Our hostess Esther was so sweet and our waiter Simon was kind and professional !! If you love kbbq , look no further, this is THE spot !! 110% would recommend 👌 Remember to get the brochettes, they are so tasty!!

First time dining here and i’d have to say, the food and the experience were definitely worth the long drive (around 45 minutes from the West Island, no traffic). For starters, I had made a reservation today for 4 at 7pm (Monday) and was thankfully seated immediately, although i had arrived earlier. The customer service is excellent and the food exceeded my expectations; the menu offers a wide variety of delicious dishes- nicely wrapped sushi, well marinated meats, grilled skewers, and much more. The staff were very friendly and were quick to bring the dishes + fill up our waters, as well as clearing our table in a timely manner (avoiding clutter/a pileup of empty plates). Evidently, I look forward to dining here again and will recommend this place to my friends & family. *edit: September 17, “23 (added photos)

Hands down my favorite K-BBQ around. The food is amazing. The staff is very professional and quick. I have yet to have a bad experience here.

We had gone last year but had felt the service was eh. We went back because we remembered the food being amazing and wanted to give it a second chance. I have to say Simon won us over with his amazing service, he was so helpful, cheerful and kind. He had a great attitude and honestly my husband and I will be going back very soon because of this. Thank you again Simon! You made our time there so enjoyable.

Unreal experience. Best service from all the staff especially the main individual. Get the: 1. Chinese donuts with vanilla ice cream (dessert) 2. Drinks (The Kimpo) - one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced) 3. The Korean bbq meats (beef & lamb) 4. Skewers 5. General Tao (wok)

Had the all you can eat buffet. Is more expensive on weekends, but that’s to be expected. The food was phenomenal. The general Tao chicken and the chicken skewers as well as the beef skewers were my favorite. They also have great sushi options, and amazing dessert!

Sushi is fresh and delicious, but not alot of options. They have too many with fake crab and tempura just as an inexpensive way of filling up the roll. Also we asked for no fake crab and they still put it in, so we pretty much destroyed those sushi trying to get it out. Pad thai is good but they put zucchini in it?! Not traditional but still tasty. The wakame is awesome!

Kimpo restaurant is an all you can eat restaurant. The choices for meat and sushi are decent. Their grill is modern and very convenient to use. The sushi options are average. Although I commend that they have Tuna options as some other restaurants do not have. Overall, the food and atmosphere is good but for the price I don't think this is the best in town or even in the area (Brossard). They also add the tip in the bill in advance for FYI. Can recommend but this would not be my first option for sushi or korean bbq. Thank you.

Price is $41.99 /person for a Monday. Hot sauce and spicy mayo are $1 extra each. The food is definitely not worth the price at all. But the staff and service alone deserve a 5 stars. Very friendly and overall attentive to what u need. Unfortunately i wont be coming back.

Kimpo offers excellent sushi takeout with reasonable prices. The pickup time of just 20 minutes was impressively fast, and the quantity of sushi you get for the price is definitely worth it. We ordered the T7 that came with 57 pieces of sushi. I had to remove a star from my rating because the price I was charged did not align with the prices listed on the online menu. I had verified the price before placing my order, but I believe they should update their online prices to accurately reflect what they charge.

*You get a free item with a review, so I believe the reviews could be biased* Food is mediocre, nothing too special. Service is a bit strange because not every server could take our order ticket, and would flat out refuse to do so and told us to find "our server". I think having the iPad order system would be much better. Also, we had to grill ontop of paper which is very different than usual Korean BBQ restaurants. It makes the food lack the "grilled" flavour. However, I think this creates significantly less smoke, which can be more enjoyable for some. Lights kept flickering, dimming down and going back to bright during the whole dinner which was a bit annoying.

I really liked this place, the food is very good and varied, the waiter really helpful. Good space also, it's not tight as the one I visited in downtown. 15% of service is included, so if you want lo leave more tip you can add to it.

Lots of variety of food; it's an all-you-can-eat. There's a qr code to scan to pull out the menu. Food is decent quality, not over the top either.

- it's clear they don't wash their veggies, since i got a bunch of dirt on my mushrooms -The food is bad the beef in hard and not fresh - the sushi is also very mid. - Review is biases, since they make customers free dessert if they gave good reviews on Google. -WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for the food. Make Coreen BBQ on your own for the best bang for your buck. Only pros: the waiters are nice
