Loved this little gem. Interesting ambiance, amazing cocktails and tapas. Challenging that the menu was only available in French (especially as I have dairy allergy) but our server was wonderful and made fantastic recommendations. Dinner can get expensive quickly especially if you go hungry, but the food is so, so good!

Loved the food, one of best Mexican food. We had guacamole, patatas bravas, taco fish and taco scallops. The only missing thing was alcohol, I have no idea why they were not serving it. Next time. Great service 😁🤩🤠

J'adore! -welcoming and nice staff -super tasty and well presented tapas, portions a bit on the smaller side but that goes with the vibe and the ideology of gourmet tapas! -the bartender was very talented and made good drinks! -cute ambiance on a cute street!

Lovely place, came here a couple of times and will be coming again! The food is delicious, we had the fish tacos as per the servers recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. Plus we had a delicious grapefruit cocktail that matched perfectly with our food! I also highly recommend getting the coffee martini. They have it in both cold and hot depending on what you like, both are delicious! Not to mention that the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.

One of the best birria tacos I've had in Montreal... They are double decked with an extra layer of cheese, very delicious. The staff offered us a shot of tequila after forgetting to bring an appetizer, we appreciated the courteousy. Will definitely come back when the craving for mexican food hits again

Cocktails were too good! Guacamole was light with deep fried chips that would be better warm. The Birria tacos melt in your mouth and are seasoned very well like oxtail. Fish tacos top with some pomegranate for a fresh light crunch. This place was such a vibe for a Friday Night with the dim light and prompt service it was an enjoyable night. The music here will have you singing the whole night!

I went to dinner with friends here and had a terrible experience. We waited 10 minutes to be seated even though we arrived on time for our reservation, and the table was ready. This would not have been a big deal if they did not deduct this time from our allotted one-and-a-half hours. They messed up our order twice and did not offer any compensation. The avocado served on the beef tacos was extremely brown, nearing rotten. It took 25 minutes for us to get our dessert and after-dinner drinks. Not even 2 minutes after they came, the waitress came to tell us we had to leave the table immediately because the next group was already there and waiting. When I mentioned the long wait for our order, she simply shrugged her shoulders at me and walked away, which was very unprofessional. If there was not enough time for us to enjoy our dessert and drinks, the waitress should have mentioned it to us when ordering them, and then we would have just gone somewhere else for dessert. I do not recommend going here.

Cute and nicely decorated spot on Park avenue, with a terrasse covered in patio lights. A group of people stopped by for a quick photoshoot on the terrasse when we were there. Interesting offers, depending on time and day (mostly 5 to 8 deals on drinks and cocktails - such as all home cocktails at 9$). The spicy mango cocktail was very good, I would recommend. The service was warm and very welcoming, we felt taken care of. The food was good. Prices were not cheap for the portions, but ok in these times I guess! We had a great time!

The best tacos in town. Must try the fish tacos and the JD tacos. Even the cocktails were refreshing and delicious. Definitely gonna come back!

If you're in the mood for amazing cocktails, tapas-style mexican dishes, and a relaxed and cozy ambiance, look no further. During my visit we parked ourselves at the end of the bar and the vibe was perfect; dim lighting, chill décor, fire crackling on the TV, plenty of funny writings on the walls, a perfect view into the kitchen's action, and even the bottle-opener hanging behind the bar was epic! Our waiter and barman was humorously awkward but under-the-radar attentive and made us amazing drinks all night (ladies, try the Berry Nice). The food was well seasoned, easily shared, and slightly awkward to eat: a perfectly authentic mexican taqueria-style experience, when you think about it! I'd definitely return if I'm in that part of town.

Great Mexican restaurant! We were a group of 6 people in a Saturday night. We ordered several tacos and cocktails. The tacos were delicious and full of flavour. I loved the tortilla as it was the same as the authentic Mexican tortilla. The cocktails were outstanding. The reasons I put 4 stars are the following: - The al pastor taco was delicious! However I found the taco to be a little dry. That's probably because of the meat. It was very well marinated and full of flavour. But it was a little overcooked. - The fish taco was very good! The fish was cooked perfectly. However it lacked seasoning. What made the tacos delicious was the sauce. If they added more sauce to the taco or seasoned the fish a little more, then it would have been perfect. The other dishes were delicious and I had an enjoyable experience. I would definitely order cocktails, as they are exceptional. I have no comment about the service. It was very well done and the waitress was attentive to our needs. This is definitely a great place to visit if you want to taste delicious tacos.

one of the best mexican culinary experiences in montreal. the owner is very charismatic and joyful. el pastar is out of this world and best part of this all amazing cocktail and drinks at a superb price especially on taco tuesday. the decor is so sophisticated and cozy. you don't miss out!!!

Went on a Tuesday for there Tuesday special! 8 of their most popular tacos for 40$! My favourite was the fish tacos! The chorizo taco didn’t taste like much but all the other tacos were delicious. Also got a margarita with their twist. It was so good!

Woooowwwww! Honestly one of montreals best hidden gems. Food was amazing, staff was perfect, cocktails were ON POINT, not the best interior design BUT the food is worth looking at a glowing palm tree. Thank you Mezcaleros!

We ordered tacos from uber : Lack of flavour, not fresh, one little piece of lime, no sauce/salsa, overpriced. Never been to the actual restaurant hut my uber experience was disappointing to say the least.

My favorite place in Montreal!! The hibiscus margarita is my go-to. The owner and the servers are all super sweet, and the happy hour specials are unbeatable! My only complaint is that they open at 5pm even in the summer. I would be there right now at 2pm sipping a cocktail on the terrace if I could, but sadly I will have to do so somewhere else 😩

An unexpected surprise when looking for a night cap after dinner nearby. Love the ingredients used in their drinks.. very refreshing and spicy!

Prices were too high for the quality. While the food was good, the portion was small. The drinks menu seemed good but nothing out of this world. It was not a very lively ambiance.
