The restaurant was clean and airy, good service and interesting variety of food. We enjoyed the soup, tourtière and the veggie burger. The blueberry pie dessert was relatively small and had too much sugar; we expected a more authentic filling, given its popularity in this area. A bit pricey overall but fairly good quality. Good option for a meal, with few alternatives nearby. Nice lakeside views. Ermitage rooms were OK but small, a bit warm even with an open window in cool overnight temperatures. Fairly quiet overall, good place to sleep in a very nice surrounding.

Nice hotel, nice waterfront setting on a hill. I had some trouble getting through to make a reservation but eventually succeeded. The room was just OK. Quite dated and small but comfortable. No soap or shampoo, only body wash. I found it odd that they plastered their logo on all the bathroom "amenities". Also, there seem to be a bunch of seniors living there which gave it an odd feel. I was told breakfast was included but it was not.

Interesting place to stay, lots of exploring to do around this beautiful property. Very religiously oriented. The rooms are small and kind of out dated. No AC. But you get what you pay for and they are affordable.

An unconditional mindful as historical relaxing hermitage (monastery + sightseeing pedestrian paths) within a beautiful pristine boreal landscape to enjoy in peaceful solitude, walking meditation, or in small groups, as very decent accommodations for food and overnight stay. There is also a nice and decent public family beach on Bouchette Lake just a kilometer down the road crossing the lake.

We enjoyed the peace and tranquillity, the staff were helpful, the rooms were comfortable and has a bonus we had free EV charging for our vehicle.

We weren't planning on stopping here but needed a place to stay the night and we were pleasantly surprised! Very kid friendly, comfortable beds in rooms that aren't too hot or cold, excellent service, and an overall very beautiful, scenic, and clean place! The rooms don't have TVs and fridges in them (no TV is fine but we would have preferred a fridge in our room), however there's a TV and fridge in the common living room area downstairs (which worked for us!) Thank you for the pleasant stay!

A must visit…tranquil and picturesque. Father Francis is a true gem. Gave me permission to camp in my van as I arrived late and at the end of the season. I truly believe Mother Mary intervened on my behalf. God bless us all 🙏
