Just because my cervical vertebrae was dislocated! And they didn't check it and ignore my symptoms!!! They just don't want do their job! Second time I was there by finger injury. I expected see other team. It was other team but the same bad. I can't feel and move the last falange of my finger anymore. And Dr looked at me and say "go to home you're ok". I never felt myself so stupid! I had to ask THREE TIMES for help before he just propose me make gypsum for a week.... I was by normal hospital next day and Dr. there said I need bandage and more examinations asap because they find splinter inside and likely I need operation because my tendon is raped. After months of intense growing pain in both my wrists and with the results of some exams, I was "forwarded" to them by my wgkk doctor because I was supposed to get the best treatment there..which made my heart full of hope. My appointment would take place only 2,5 months ahead. Considering that I was in a lot of pain I asked if I could be notified in case someone cancelled an appointment previous to mine, then I was informed that it wasn't possible but that I could call and ask about openings. Please note that when I speak, one can easily notice that German is not my mother tongue, however, I tend to communicate in that language, since that's the national language and most of the time it works just fine. The thing is: apparently they got "annoyed" that I was calling and asking about an earlier free appointment & I honestly have no idea if such information was meant as a joke, since it's very mean and low to make fun of one's lack of health. Anyways, at some point I had a very rude woman screaming at me over the phone saying that I was making a terror by calling and that I should just wait. I said I was just doing what I was told and that in the meantime the pain had increased in a way that I was unable to do daily activities. Disregarding my helplessness, she basically said there was nothing she could do and the appointment was in "just" 3 weeks now.. Well, after the whole long waiting time I was in an appointment for 5 minutes & was supposed to take another exam. I had to wait 2 more months for the 2nd appointment, nevertheless, I thought it was still ok since - despite the every day increasing pain and difficulties I was having - it was some kind of progress. On 17h December 2019, the day I will never forget, I went to the 2nd appointment where the doctor of the day simply said my case wasn't fit for surgery & that I should simply stop working because my hands would NEVER be well again. He asked what I wanted from him; I said a solution, a treatment. He then said he had given me the medical solution but he couldn't do anything if I couldn't accept the social effect of that. That I just should work with something that I did not need to use my hands; and that I should leave and not come back to this hospital because there was nothing that they could do for me. I was totally heartbroken after this appointment. I could never imagine such behavior from a doctor and I would feel ashamed if I was a doctor and I couldn't do anything for a patient. What would be my knowledge then? A friend once meant that maybe some of the "annoyed" staff might have made some kind of mark on my hospital file and that was the reason for the DENIAL of real medical treatment, which every being should be entitled to - fact that maybe that hospital staff simply disregard. It was a very traumatic experience and I'm only writing it now bc I'm still processing this whole thing, but I needed to let people know about it. Regarding my hands, it's a work in progress. I went to a private doctor who gave me a *treatment* & I've been having true improvement and I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. However, it could & should have been through my insurance if the hospital staff had provided me with a proper treatment. I hope this text reaches the team of that hospital clinic and makes them aware of how unprofessional they were and the amount of pain & the monetary loss that they caused me. Plus, if one is not able to feel empathy when working in a hospital surrounded by human beings that are in some sort of distress, then one should really reconsider its qualities and flaws. I thought about this situation over&over again & I simply cannot find any excuse that justifies the way I was mistreated there. There's no reason good enough to neglect a person, and especially a person who *pays* for that service, then I think something really wrong is going on and that it should be fixed. Personal durch die Bank sehr freundlich und kompetent. War gestern wieder zur ambulanten Chemo dort und meine Tochter war wegen Blutungen in der 6.Schwangerschaftswoche in der Notfallambulanz (außerhalb der Ambulanzzeiten) auch sie berichtete von freundlichem Personal, kompetenter Behandlung und war nach nicht einmal 1 Stunde fertig! Heute waren die Blutungen WEG aufgrund der verschriebenen Medikation. Auch in Corona-Zeiten TOP - Krankenhaus! Kann leider nur 5 Sterne vergeben, weil 10 nicht vorhanden sind!👍👍👍👍👍

Das Personal war ausschließlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich hatte den Eindruck dass sehr viel Wert auf jeden einzelnen Patienten gelegt wird. Meiner Meinung nach ist das gesamte Personal bis hin zur Oberärztin sehr bemüht um die Genesung und medizinische Fürsorge Ihrer Patienten. Vom Essen ganz zu schweigen- herrlich!! Von Knödel mit Eierschwammerl bis hin zum Hirschragout es war TOP!!! Frühstück und Abendessen war abwechslungsreich und ebenso lecker. Bei Nachfrage gab es jedes Mal Nachschlag, da ich zu Beginn nur halbe Portionen bekam :-D Im Gegensatz zu meinen Erfahrungen zu anderen Krankenhäusern sind die Wartezeiten gering, das Personal sehr bemüht und vor Allem kompetent. Dass der medizinische Aspekt und die ärztliche Obsorge im Vordergrund stehen, merkt und fühlt man. Hierfür und selbstverständlich auch für das Gesamtpaket möchte ich mich bedanken! Sie hat eine Infusion bekommen und eine Überweisung zum MRT. Am Freitag sind wir wieder in die Notaufnahme gefahren, dieses Mal mit der Rettung da es ihr noch schlechter ging. Es wurde wieder Schmerzmittel gegeben und sie haben einen Ultraschall gemacht. Über das Wochenende wurde es nicht besser die Schmerzen haben sich verschlimmert. Zum Glück haben wir gleich am Montag einen MRT Termin bekommen in der Donaustadt, wo uns dann sofort gesagt worden ist das eine Fraktur im LWK 1 Bereich liegt, die sofort behandelt werden muss weil wenn da irgendwas verrutsch könnte sie querschnittsgelähmt sein. (einen Termin für MRT bekommt man frühestens in September, wir hatten Glück das ich jemanden kenne der in dem Bereich arbeitet) Sind wir dann sofort wieder ins Hanusch gefahren um dies dort zu besprechen und man wollte uns damit trösten das wir morgen vorbeikommen können weil sie Personalmangel haben und zusätzlich eine OP Sperre. Meine Oma hatte 5 Tage lang diese Schmerzen, hätten sie am Donnerstag schon ein MRT gemacht wäre es gar nicht soweit gekommen. Wir sind dann ins Akh gefahren wo sie sofort als erstes ein MRT gemacht haben, obwohl wir vor paar Stunden erst einen gemacht haben. Also unsere Erfahrung war furchtbar, man wird ignoriert und nicht als Mensch angesehen. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht. Man sollte sich zweimal überlegen ob man dort wirklich hinfährt.

Um 9 Uhr Termin. 10 min vorher da und trotzdem kommen insgesamt 13 Leute die NACH mir beim anmeldeschalter waren VOR mir dran! 4h Wartezeit mit Termin ist eine Frechheit Update: wurde heute angerufen dass ich aufgrund meines Blutbildes dringend ins Spital kommen soll, nun sitze ich als “Notfall” seit über einer Stunde da und wurde noch nicht angeschaut.

Weggeschickt worden (mit Furunkel, nicht erlaubt!) von HNO Abteilung (30 Minuten vor Ordinationsschluss) keine Patienten vor Ort, Frau Bakic am Schalter lügt einem auch noch dreist in‘s Gesicht. Danach wurde ich auf die Unfallambulanz geschickt. Mein Furunkel im Gesicht(!) wurde dann behandelt. Folgetermin, erneut Frau Bakic am Schalter (diesmal konnte sie mich nicht wegschicken, da es früh morgens war, was für ein Glück). Dafür vergisst diese dann meine Akte, und ich sitze 3 Stunden im Warteraum. Nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen schickt diese Dame mich wieder zurück in den Warteraum, sie könne nichts gegen die lange Wartezeit tun, alles laufe nach Plan. Da sich der Warteraum aber im halben Stunden Takt mit neuen Patienten füllt, und NIEMAND solange warten musste wie ich, habe ich mich einfach zum Schalter gestellt und gewartet bis diese Dame Frau Bakic endlich etwas unternimmt. Der Arzt hat mir dann verraten diese Dame hätte einfach meine Akte vergessen. Zu guter letzt: Nichts gegen junge Ärzte, ich bin selber Medizinstudentin und komme aus einer Ärzte Familie. Nach dieser Behandlung muss ich nun zum plastischen Chirurgen, sodass dieser mir mein unschönes Narbengewebe, welches aufgrund dieser Behandlung entstanden ist, entfernt. Sehr schade, Patienten wegzuschicken an einem Freitag mit einem Furunkel im Gesicht, VOR Ordinationsschluss. Noch dazu wurde mein Gesicht verschandelt. Nie wieder!

Egal wie schwierig ein Patient ist, die Würde eines Menschen ist unantastbar. Menschen die furchtbare Schmerzen haben und sterben müssen, interessieren sich nur für ihr eigenes Leid, die haben kein Verständnis zu anderen nett zu sein, der Tod steht vor der Tür und im Rücken stehen die unermesslichen Schmerzen die sie vor ihrem eigenen Leben in die Knie zwingen. Ich war für meine 1. OP auf der Gynäkologie. Meine große Nervosität die am Vortag begann wurde mir ab dem ersten Moment vor Ort genommen! Wirklich JEDE*R dort hatte ein freundliches Wort übrig (auch schon bei den Terminen davor für die OP-Planung), die Abläufe sind routiniert, das Zimmer gemütlich und die Betreuung hätte besser nicht sein können! Leider kann ich nicht alle Namen nennen aber von den Schwestern, dem Anästhesisten, den OP-Assistenten bis hin zum Chirurg leisten dort wirklich alle großartige Arbeit mit einer Gelassenheit und Freundlichkeit die in Zeiten des massiven Personalmangels wirklich nicht selbstverständlich ist! Vielen, vielen Dank für die liebevolle Betreuung! :-)
