Well, the memorial stone isn't particularly beautiful! But the view of the lower Old Danube is particularly beautiful! 🙂

Beautiful view of the Lower Old Danube. From here you can walk to KaisermĂĽhlen. Or ride your bike.

This memorial stone is located at the southern end of the Old Danube. There are very few parking spaces (short-term parking zones) directly on site. However, there are many paid parking spaces available in a parking garage opposite the subway station

It is located in the Donaupark right next to the Donauturm, clean, nice, beautiful flowers

Very nice to linger and let your thoughts wander. Right next to the Danube.

Yes, a memorial stone. There are more beautiful ones, but also uglier ones. The place was well chosen. However, no one should go there specifically for that reason!

đź‘Ťđź‘Ť It took almost 80 years to build this memorial! And on the day of its inauguration a political gathering organised in the Augarten park saw it fit to erase the inscription "Never Again!" from the big "Flakturm" (Flak tower, an anti-aircraft gun blockhouse towers constructed during the Nazi regime),...
