👍👍 If my wife didn't tell me to behave, I would have licked the plates clean! Make sure you get the triple goulash meal with sausage in sauce included , and we had the €33(oct 23 price) schnitzel, which came with cranberry sauce and potato salad and split those 2 dishes + a few drinks. Delicious to say... People often mention goulash, good, delicious, sauce, waiter, service, waitress, nice, friendly, recommend,

Entered on a Saturday night and stood by the entrance waiting to be seated but was ignored by the waitress. When I went up to ask if I could sit outside, she replied with an attitude that I could sit anywhere. I felt unwelcome so I left. Went back the next day during lunch to try again and this time it was a middle aged waiter (with glasses). He was really warm and friendly and I got a chance to try their goulash which was delicious. The female waitress should improve on her service and I do not advice you to dine there when she’s around.

Miessl and Schaden food served at their sister restaurant next door. Quite and humble atmosphere 👌🏼 schnitzel portions are humongous and could have shared 3 dishes between 5 people. The potato salad is one of the best I've had with a schnitzel

Me and my friend waited for half an hour outside the curtains trying to get a seat. I did try to get the waitress’s attention and she acknowledged my existence however she was busy arranging cups and kept us waiting outside. The other people went straight in and demanded for table and they were then served but with an attitude. We were trying to get the table after them but the waitress ignored us completely. Would not even recommend when you treat your customers like this.

I enjoyed an excellent Schnitzel at this location, particularly with the cranberry sauce. The potato salad was delicious too. The service was both professional and impressively quick.

Absolutely cleaned my plate of Viennese Goulash -- we had to order more bread because I didn't want the extra sauce to go to waste! The sauce was so deeply flavored and rich, and the meat perfectly tender. One of the best meals I had in Vienna

The best goulash I have ever try, only my oma's beats it. The waitress was excellent. I super recommend!

Little restaurant in hotel Grand Ferdinand. Attentive, helpful service and the goulash with pretzel stick is yum. I also got the apple strudel which was unfortunately quite average. Good for a quick stop for a bite and a few wines.

Had a great evening meal outside this restaurant. Service could not have been better. We had the goulash and sausage with bread and both were delicious 😋

Little restaurant where you can taste some nice goulash at a reasonable price. The waiter was a funny guy with a cool vibe, and the service was relatively quick, considering we came in at 3pm for lunch. The place is not massive and has space for maybe 20 people, with some seats being high chairs/tables/stools.

We fancied something hot and quick, and as this place is just a stone throw from the Imperial Hotel where we stayed we have decided to try it. It is a small and unassuming place but do not underestimate it. I had the Szegedin cabbage goulash having no idea what to expect from it. Well, It was fantastic! My boyfriend had the beef goulash and he said it was very good too. We were planning to go back there before we leave Vienna but unfortunately we were running late so couldn't go back which was a shame.

Great cozy place with local dishes. We tried three different kind of sausages, large meet goulash and potato one - everything was perfect!!! I need to admit very nice interior, lovely music and clean bathroom. Thank you so much, will return!

Food was very affordable and the server was very nice. We had the entire place to ourself on a busy night, too. So we had all the attention of the server. Food was good however the presentation could be improved on.

Fantastic house wine. Small plates of various goulash available. Great for a quick bite and you can even share a small plate. They’ll bring you a roll to be more filling.

Some of the best goulash we've ever tried, apple strudel was quite good as well, non-pretentious atmosphere and friendly waitress, definitely on my "must visit again" list

Nov 2023 We planned to eat light because we wanted to try heavy dessert at the other place but 8.9€ from 3 small pieces of gulasch is a bit high price and too light since it didn't come with bread to scoop in the sauce. The tainted blonde waiter just pointed the seating we could get, didn't even move from the bar table. The chair was full of food crumbles (like from croissant). I had to clean it by myself. I ordered gulasch like the name of this restaurant which is supposed to be their specialties but unfortunately the food was a bit salty and not that good. They asked for tip! I think it's normal in Austria.

Lovely staff and it’s super warm and cozy in cold winter weather. Beef Goulash is fine, just not a big fan of it. Surprisingly the apple strudel was quite good

A great restaurant right near the main road in Innere Stadt. Came here for a late lunch and the staff were great and accommodating. This place had a great goulash. The Wiener Schnitzel was a big portion and was delicious.

Simply the best😊💕 I come here every time I am in Vienna. it’s the only place abroad where i feel i can eat my moms homemade beef stew. it makes you feel warm inside. the atmosphere is classy but chilled and not pretensious. the food is simply delicious. i recommend the goulash or veal schnitzel and you must start with the beef consommé :)

A superb goulash! Tasty and not heavy for the stomach at all! If you are looking for a dish like this, you definitely need to come here!

Goulash was really nice - the actual highlight is the waitress. They handle the whole place with 1 person and it must be really stressful but they were excellent. It was like clockwork. We had limited time until concert and they made sure we are in and out. I hope they will have a second person soon :)

What a hidden gem on our short stay here. We stayed at the Imperial Hotel across the street but found this gem based on Google reviews and looking for authentic Austrian cuisine. We had the Goulash and the Lahner sausage coupled with a potato salad and bread rolls. Food was excellent and portion size was filling but not overstuffing, just a perfect end to our trip. Our waiter Jonathan was very friendly and attentive and his English was excellent. Highly recommend for everyone looking for a good meal without a lot of fuss.

Authentic Vienna style cuisine The Gulasch is so yummy. I tried the Apple strudel and it was good as well. The place is walking distance from kursalon Vienna where the Mozart and Strauss concert takes place. Mahmoud the waiter was so helpful. Thanks mahmoud

The Gulasch here is fantastic and really well priced, specially considering that we are in the most touristy part of the town. Really recommend it.

Be patient here, the waiter or waitress has a really fair system that is systematic. You get to order a drink first, food later. The waiter who served us is really friendly and professional. The Goulash here is really good and you have to try the Lahner sausage as well. Don’t just stop there, order the Rigo Jancsi which is nice and not too rich.

The decor, breads, eggs are special. Loved it! The ham was not so good and the service is really slow. So come with extra time and patience.

Specialised in goulash Love the concept and the goulash as well!

The goulash was amaaaazing, with tasty sauce and beef that just fell apart with the single touch of a fork. Definitely recommend to get a side of bread with it too, so you can mop up the sauce and not just eat meat in sauce. Wish they offered an option to order mashed potatoes or something on the side, to make it a more complete meal for those who might wish to have more accompaniments. We ordered fries but they don’t really go that well with goulash unfortunately 😁 We ordered two large portions and the lovely server lady said she asked for us to get extra meat, which was kind of nice :) sitting outside and eating their goulash is a fantastic Vienna tourist experience.

The location is very beautiful and the owners are very kind and professional. The service really melted our hearts. The gulasch was simply delicious and very wide variety of drinks too. When we will be back in Vienna, we know where to have dinner

Very good! My husband and I shared a large meat gulasch and a large potato gulasch. Both were delicious. The waiter was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with him. Highly recommended.
