I stayed for 6 nights, it’s lovely warm, I loved it specially the breakfast and the service is very nice. I have to thank the two filipinos the guy and the housekeeper for being kind, and also want to thank the Arabian lady in housekeeping for being polite and supportive. Last comment The people who worked in the restaurant especially the breakfast shift are not welcoming and not smiling a little bit tough Regards

Beautiful hotel inside but the tv didn't work in my room and the AC didn't really cool the room. Breakfast was good and service too. Location was good too.

Stunning. Wonderful service, impeccable food and all staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and bright with the most comfortable beds. I would return in a heartbeat. This hotel is just amazing. Thank you for making our mini break so memorable. 🤗

I chose the Kaiserhof hotel due to it’s high ratings, and closeness to the city centre. Also it was a small almost boutique size hotel which I prefer. This was my first trip to Vienna and I stayed 3 nights in room 209. Check in was friendly and efficient. I had booked the “petite” room size which is small, but looked comfortable. The layout was small, but about average for single rooms in Europe. But it had a very useable small desk, and a bureau with plenty of hanging space and shelves. The bathroom was good size and modern. And added bonus was a mini bar and small safe. The bed was 2 singles put together although setup as separate beds. The mattress was firm, but comfortable, with soft linens and pillows. Two large windows with opened overlook the quiet street below. The only small negative about the room is the fan/air conditioner system is turned off outside summer time. This time of the year the outside temperature was about 20c and night about 10c. In the early evening the room was quite warm, with the only way to cool it down was to open the windows. This was effective in time as the temperature drop, but took time and you can hear all the noise on the street, which while quiet was nonetheless not silent. It was not an issue that caused any discomfort but for some it might be if it was a bit later in the season before summer. The highlight of my stay for me was the excellent buffet breakfast. An abundant selection of choices with many little “bits and pieces” to add to it. Good selection of teas and coffees along with a very attentive staff. The dining area was spacious and quiet with light background classical music playing. A very enjoyable and relaxing way to start the day. Overall I highly recommend the hotel and would likely stay there again if I was to visit Vienna again.

Not sure how this hotel received 5 stars. Everything feels like it’s a very average 4 star hotel. Location, service, room conditions are all okay but not outstanding at all. Ex) no bath robes in the room, we were asked to come down to the bar for an ice bucket. Hotel isn’t unbearable but you can definitely find better hotel for lesser price tag in Vienna.

Please make sure that you don’t forget anything in the room because it disappears in hours. I forgot my charger at 12:00 when checking out , went back at 18:00 and nobody was able to find it although the room was not rented to another customer . Phantom of the Kaiser is around picking up forgotten objects. !! This experience was very disappointing NOTE The response from the Management was quick . Every thing else in the hotel was very nice

I didn't enjoy staying in this hotel. I paid 165 euro and the breakfast wasn't included. Somebody tried to enter my room twice, at about 8 am and 9 am while I was asleep. My room was near the staff room and I could hear every word. The room itself is old-fashioned and everything looks quite cheap.

It was a spur of a moment decision to stay in this hotel but I’m so happy we choose them. Stayed here for 2 nights, with two children in the suite. Perfect location, in city centre but far enough from the crowd. Friendly, attentive staff, kind words every time we entered the lobby and joked around with the children ☺️ they pay attention to details, eg. you have a pillow menu to choose from! Breakfast very rich, great assortment! We will definitely stay here if we return to Vienna in the future! I truly recommend them.

We loved this hotel, and our spacious room and bath for our six night stay. The breakfast staff was very friendly and provided great service, and their was a wide selection of very high quality. All of the other staff we encountered were also warm and friendly, with one notable exception when we tried to get different pillows. The location is perfect and quiet, with a nearby grocery store, restaurants in every direction, multiple transit options a couple minutes away, and the pedestrianized shopping area right up the street. The only negative was that the air conditioning was not quite powerful enough, and the beds had comforter/duvet type covers rather than just a cooler top sheet. And after our experience with the pillows, we didn't want to push our luck trying to request any additional changes in bedding.

Very nice hotel I a handy location. Reception staff were good. Good breakfast. Hauling bags up stairs just to get to lift is disappointing and with only one lift . Every time we went to use it, was being used by staff and as it is very old and slow, so patience is required

We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Kaiserhof. Excellent location close to all key sights with a superb quality breakfast. Lovely staff and a spacious and very comfortable room. Would return here any time.

Exceptional hotel! If you are looking for the perfect hotel in Vienna, look no further. This location is so central and close to all major sights and attractions in Vienna. We loved the friendly and helpful staff, the amazing luxurious and comfortable rooms, and absolutely adored the beautiful breakfast buffet. The staff was phenomenal as well as the quality of food, incredible. Thank you hotel Kaiserhof Wien, we were sad to leave and would definitely stay again!

Spent 4 days here in a suite with my wife and really enjoyed my stay. The building itself is beautiful and steeped in history. The staff are friendly and it is situated perfectly for being a tourist in Vienna. I would definitely stay here again.

Welcoming, comfortable and cosy hotel in an excellent and quiet location. I felt very much at home and well looked after here. Lovely sauna and great breakfasts. The bar was excellent, lovely service and cocktails expertly crafted at a decent price. Highly recommended.

Loved the atmosphere and the dining room. I felt I was really in Vienna and not in some anonymous copy-pasted hotel room. My room was tiny but the furniture was good quality.

Great all round hotel. Family, winter and week time break so used more as a base for exploring the city. Warm and welcoming with great breakfast.

Perfectly adequate room (comfy bed, effective double glazing, plenty of hot water). Efficient service (occasionally aloof in a Teutonic manner). Very good location. We would recommend it.

SUPER! They claim to be a 4 star hotel, but this isn't true - this is a 5 star hotel! We here stayed 3 nights in the New Year 2024. The atmosphere of the hotel is warm, friendly, luxurious, clean and what else. The breakfast belongs to the top category of hotel breakfasts I've tasted. I appreciated the opening time as well - especially until 1 pm on New Year's Day. The room we had, suite, was spacious and clean, including the bathroom which was great. Also quite modern, although some of the interiors seem slightly old fashioned. And yet at the same time, the hotel is also very classically stylish. The room was very silent, as well. Location of the hotel is perfect if you want to be near the Innere stadt of Vienna. The service was impeccable and very friendly. I regret having no time to visit the spa and Finnish sauna there. It seems I have to return to check up on them! ;-) So if you're thinkinkg between other hotels in this category, don't think twice!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bed was super comfortable, even more comfortable than some 5 star hotels that I have stayed before. Location was perfect too, few minutes walking distance to the metro station where has 3 main lines.

A pleasant stay! Welcoming friendly staff, well maintained rooms as well a welcome surprise after check in, with a little cake. You’re in the middle of Vienna in a tradition/ historical hotel, which definitely meet most modern standards. I only can recommend that place!

We had a good two-night stay. Receptionist is very friendly, helpful, polite and speaks good English. The room is tidy, clean. This is a classic hotel which means most of the facilities are old, but it did not bother us. The air conditioning is very very cold, so we had to turn it off at the night. We had a bath, water pressure is not too high. The mattress is the BEST mattress we ever had in an hotel. Very good location, close to three metro lines. Strongly recommended !

Fantastic experience. The staff are extraordinarily courteous and helpful, even above and beyond what I would usually expect from a nice hotel. The location is easily walkable to the museums, city center, and the U-Bahn/metro. Our room was clean with comfortable beds. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which included fresh fruit, fresh bread, a nice selection of cheeses (with honeycomb and jam too), many hot foods, pastries, and more. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Vienna. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Im leaving Vienna this morning and I can’t help but feel nostalgic. Not about leaving this gorgeous city but mostly about leaving this great hotel. Come here for comfort, come here to go back in time to an era where service and attention to detail were part of the travel experience. In all of our travels of the latest years no hotel has ever noticed birthdays, anniversaries or any of those special dates for traveling, however, the Kaiserhof hotel made sure to acknowledge and surprised us on my husband’s birthday. If you enjoy a drink before retiring at night please visit the bar here, an elegant and quiet place to enjoy the most delicious cocktails served to you with the greatest of the smiles. If none of these things trigger your interest, maybe the idea of enjoying the number 1 breakfast in Austria will. Believe me, it is worth it. We love the Kaiserhof. This is our 2nd time here and we Thank all the staff at the hotel for making the Kaiserhof a part of our whole experience in Vienna.

A warm welcome from friendly English speaking staff, beautifully clean, big rooms with fabulous shower (and a great range of complimentary toiletries), massive comfy bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and cloud like pillows. Brilliantly located, quiet but close to centre. Massive delicious breakfasts.

One of the finest hotels we have ever stayed at. Stayed at this hotel twice, each time for one week. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bed is super comfortable. Service staff is excellent. Breakfast is the best of any hotel. Excellent variety. New items every day and, as always, excellent service. Location is excellent as well. Walking distance to all major attractions. Very nice and very clear hotel close to the city center. The breakfast is fantastic (with hand-made chees). Crews are attentive. The style of the hotel is imperial, and the mattress of the bed is very comfortable. The free umbrella is in the room is a plus star. The gifts at Manner on the check-out were a real surprise and consideration! 👌

My friend and I stayed at the hotel for my birthday in November. It was very comfortable and the staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. I loved the breakfast! It's well located, with the tramline literally around the corner. The metro station is easily within working distance. I would highly recommend this hotel.
