Very nice hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did have access to the lounge due to our status with Marriott. The lounge was very well cared for. One small thing: our room had a hard time getting cool (and it wasn't hot outside). Was a bit frustrating - and we were give a fan to use during our stay. Not ideal, but that did help.

Very nice hotel in great location. Breakfast is good, front desk staff was very friendly. Other staff was friendly and helpful too except for one that kicked my out of the concierge lounge somewhat rudely after closing time. Rooms are spacious and clean, small and dated tv's, no art on the walls. If you're a non smoker make sure you ask for a non-smoking room. I could definitely smell it but tolerated it.

Beautiful classic hotel. Super well located next to a metro station, not far from the city in a 10 minutes walk or less than 5 minutes to the closest commercial area where most shops and supermarkets are. The hotel has a sauna and steam room and a very complete gym. The buffet breakfast is a must and it offer an outdoor seating area by the garden. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. The bar located at the lobby has an amazing service and offers great selection of spirits.

Buffet breakfast was more than sufficient; very pleasant and accommodating staff; great location for city center. Lobby furniture was showing age and a bit worn and tattered. Could not get the air temp cooler in our room. Enjoyed being able to use our Gold status in the Marriott Rewards program. Lovely perquisite. Thank you.

Thr hotel is not in the central location, there is no easy access to centre. however, the S-bahn station will get you to either train station or airport easily. They offered us a king size bed for 3 people which is unacceptable.

This is my first time staying at this Marriott. I usually stay in the one closer to the city center. So, I wasn’t sure how this one would turn out. I was pleasantly surprised. From the friendly staff to the very nice rooms. And, the price is very reasonable. And, right outside my window is a beautiful Orthodox Church. Last, the hotel is located within walking distance to several restaurants and bars. Overall, a very good hotel.

Large grand hotel just outside the centre of Vienna with very good transport links. Room was spacious, with a mini bar fridge, an over the bath shower, and the room had good quality items including decent toilet roll. Breakfast buffet was very tasty with a wide variety of choice, including an omelette stand, where they made fresh, and very tasty, omelettes to your liking. Reception staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The spa area was very nice, including a small pool, wet and dry sauna rooms, although there was a number of people using saunas naked, be warned encase it makes you feel uneasy. There were some small drawback with the hotel, namely the minibar charging setup is annoying and makes it tricky to chill your own items. The minibar fridge didn't get very cold. There was also an annoying lip between the bedroom up into the bathroom, which became too easy to stub your toe on. But overall an excellent hotel which I would highly recommend.

We like this hotel, have stayed here many times but this time it felt slightly different. People working there were still polite and friendly but in the past it felt like they happily went the extra mile to make the customer happy. That feeling is gone. It felt like they gave us what they owed us and not one ounce more. Being gold, in the past we often received an upgrade at arrival, this time we had to ask for it. And when they showed us the 'upgrade' we could honestly not tell what the difference between the rooms was. The 'non-upgrade' actually had a nicer layout, so we stuck with that. We ordered room service and asked for things on the side, those things didn't come on the side, they didn't come at all. The room was very hot at night but couldn't open windows because of outside noise. Still a nice hotel, pleasant staff, comfortable bed, but the feeling of being treated special was not there this time. Maybe the merger?

A good place to stay, with great rooms and services. Great breakfast if included, a bit expensive if paid aside. Areas for improvement: some parts are aging in the room, no amenities except under demand. Not bad location, although if you use public transport you will have to combine more than 1 line. If you use scooter sharing services is well located

The hotel has been great. Staff are friendly, price is competitive, room is typical Renaissance. The bathroom shower tub is a little quirky and the TV is small, but those are easy to get past. The executive lounge is fantastic. It's open all day and has a number of nice options. Hotel served Pepsi products instead of Coke which was the first I've seen of that in Austria -- a disappointment to me and my wife. Depending on your plans, the location is a bit outside the action of the ring.

I really loved staying here, the location was excellent, the food was also as would be expected for the price but I would recommend eating outside otherwise you will miss out on the many amazing experiences that can be had from the street food to the cafes and the fine dining restaurant's, the hotel has a nice ambiance and history
