We
like
this
hotel,
have
stayed
here
many
times
but
this
time
it
felt
slightly
different.
People
working
there
were
still
polite
and
friendly
but
in
the
past
it
felt
like
they
happily
went
the
extra
mile
to
make
the
customer
happy.
That
feeling
is
gone.
It
felt
like
they
gave
us
what
they
owed
us
and
not
one
ounce
more.
Being
gold,
in
the
past
we
often
received
an
upgrade
at
arrival,
this
time
we
had
to
ask
for
it.
And
when
they
showed
us
the
'upgrade'
we
could
honestly
not
tell
what
the
difference
between
the
rooms
was.
The
'non-upgrade'
actually
had
a
nicer
layout,
so
we
stuck
with
that.
We
ordered
room
service
and
asked
for
things
on
the
side,
those
things
didn't
come
on
the
side,
they
didn't
come
at
all.
The
room
was
very
hot
at
night
but
couldn't
open
windows
because
of
outside
noise.
Still
a
nice
hotel,
pleasant
staff,
comfortable
bed,
but
the
feeling
of
being
treated
special
was
not
there
this
time.
Maybe
the
merger?
