Never Book here! I planned a beautiful weekend, 3 nights in this hotel and short before my arrive in Vienna they wrote an email telling that the hotel is closed and my reservation has been made available to Hotel Amadeus (disappointing). The worse thing is that they still were taking reservation even if they knew that it was closed. You buy and pay for an hotel and intentionally you are not informed and you are transferred to another one definitely lower category.

Very nice hotel with wonderful old-fashioned rooms, welcomed with a Mozart chocolate. Very quiet and located ideally for any short trip into. The city. The only disappointment was the breakfast which is very small und without much of a choice, but is charged with 24 Euros - I had honestly expected more for that. But the service staff is very kind and very helpful - great compliment!

Very nicely decorated in the old Vienna style. Very friendly staff. The breakfast has a nice assortment but is - as many other hotels in Europe - still lacking Asian possibilities. Perfectly located. Only other minor point is the lack of complementary water in the room. But there is always free coffee and cookies available in the lobby, for us coffee junkies :-)

Amazing hotel! The location is very convenient, right in the middle of the city. The personnel is very kind and helpful. The room is nice, clean. The breakfast was not included, but you could order it separately.

Chic hotel in great location with nice services. Wouldn't say the beds and cleanliness are worth the full prices though.

Outstanding, all round, this a true Jewel in the crown !!!, But don't tell too many people. The manager Mr Hamza is excellent all round, and heads the team. The staff are all without exception focused, professional, and dedelicated offering superb service that is second to none. The decor within the hotel and attention to detail is most impressive. The location to shops, restaurants,coffee bars, stores, shops, churches are a stones throw away, yet still very quiet.

Nicely decorated rooms, great breakfast buffet and kind and helpful staff. Right at Kärntner Straße with all its stores, restaurants and cafe's.

We spent three nights in Wien and we really loved the Schlosshotel. Sameh welcomed us at the reception and gave us many useful advices to visit the city. The room was large and full of little luxuries: we appreciated everything, primarily the view. Then, we had breakfast included, and with brioches, jams, fruits, cheese, yogurt and also caviar (!) we were very enthusiastic. Marco and Isabella.

location is good, the service staff is very polite. But the hotel needs a renovation, some pats are quite old. And breakfast was very basic

The location of the hotel is perfect. Ideally situated for exploring the city on foot as well as being close to the U-bahn. The hotel is beautiful, typically romantic old world Viennese and full of character. The furnishings and decor are exquisite and of an extremely high standard. Everything was spotlessly clean. There was a good variety for breakfast and the complimentary drinks, sweets and biscuits in the reception area were greatly appreciated. All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional and made our stay a thoroughly enjoyable one. We very much look forward to staying here again.

I'm afraid I have to leave a negative review because the hotel management is completely unreasonable. We planned to travel to Vienna before Christmas, but our trip was disrupted by change in COVID regulations and could therefore no longer go. I called the hotel to ask for cancellation and refund / voucher 5 times and never was able to speak to the manager. I emailed the manager but the email was never returned. Until I called the hotel again after the start of our reservation date, it was answered, and I was told to send another email. Soon I received a response telling me there's nothing they can do about it and they did not refund or give us voucher of a penny. I gave the hotel plenty of notice and the cancellation is indeed due to extenuating circumstances. Yet the hotel was utterly irresponsive and showed no understanding of the customer situation. Spent 350EUR for nothing. Very disappointed.

The right place to stay in Vienna. The hotel is still open during these COVID times. Faclities are quite well, rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious enough, the lobby at the ground floor is cozy and suit well to sit with your notebook and dinner ('cause all the restaurants, that consierge will recommend you, are in to-go/delivery mode now).

My wife and I spent the first part of our honeymoon in Vienna where we stayed at this hotel – and we had a lovely experience during our four nights there! The staff has been so kind during our stay with great service and advise on areas to visit in the city. As well, the room (standard double room) was well-furnished with large wardrobes and a nice bed where we could relax after our long walks around the city. We hope to see you again one day!

Wonderful hotel, located in the heart of Vienna, in the most prestigious historic 1st district - Innere Stadt. The hotel is located in a quiet and very nice little street, about 5 minutes walk from the world-famous Wiener Staatsoper and about 10 minutes walk from St. Stephen's Cathedral. The location is impeccable. Kärtnerstrasse is only about 100 meters away. The hotel is extremly elegantly furnished in the style of Maria Theresia, cozy, with very good soundproofing. Wonderful breakfast with a wide choice and variety. The purity is very high. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly. They assist with anything that the guest needs. I would stay at this hotel again!

With its perfect location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and Viennese atmosphere the hotel is the right choice to experience Vienna. It is worth staying there no matter whether you are on a business trip or holiday.

This hotel is pretty awesome, it is conveniently located so a lot of places will be accessible through this area. Cleaning staff come in regularly and make sure we have what we need. Check-in was easy and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. The place is comfortable and quiet. I will consider this hotel on future visits.

Booked the hotel in March of this year for a trip this upcoming September. Did not realize this was a no cancellation room and when I called the hotel a week later to change was told I couldn’t change. And was charged immediately for the stay. Felt the hotel mishandled the situation. Yes I was at fault. But they could of either made the change at whatever the rate difference would of been. If they had accommodated my request they would of had a loyal customer who would recommend the hotel to other travelers. Instead of hospitality there seems to be poor customer service at the very least.
