I've been coming to Tosan Studio 2-3 times a month via MyClubs for some time now and would like to share my opinion here: The studio is really super cool and the team is incredibly enthusiastic. From the super nice receptionist to the owner and my trainer Franz, with whom I train kickboxing, everyone is simply great. Even though I'm a total beginner, I've always felt comfortable. If I had known how relaxed it was and how well looked after you would be there, I would have started martial arts much earlier. Everyone at Tosan is incredibly helpful and just great as a person. So I would like to say a huge thank you!

I was there for a Muay Thai tryout. The trainer "Benjo" is very competent, helpful, nice and funny. You can totally tell that he loves his work. The champion Foad Sadeghi was also very nice to me and answered many of my questions. The receptionist was also very nice and competent. The training could be a bit more strenuous and the training room downstairs and gym could use a little renovation, but overall it's a top studio and I'll probably start there!

I have nothing but positive things to say about the coaches. They were always great and competent and I loved training there. However, the gym has serious management issues. I had severe health issues that forced me to stop training for a few months, so I asked to interrupt my contract. I was always told this would not be a problem. I went back to training too soon and because of that had additional health issues and several doctors forbade me from training. When I asked to interrupt my contract again, I was told this was the last time they could do it. At that point I did not know when or whether I would be allowed to train again, so I simply asked to terminate my contract. I had already paid for several months in which I didn't train at all, but I accepted those costs since I sympathize with the gym and know it is not easy to run a gym. Although I asked to terminate my contract, Tosan just stopped replying my emails but kept charging my account. After not receiving any responses for several months, I simply asked my bank to cancel the money transfers. A few months later, Tosan hired a debt collector, claiming I owed them over 1000€. All in all this is really a shame. I loved the gym and the environment it provided. At the time I was looking forward to go back to training. However, the way they handled my situation simply made me want to cut ties with them.

In the last few years I have traveled to several cities in Europe and have therefore been able to train in various gyms - TOSAN is one of the best. The mats, showers etc. are very clean. Compared to other gyms, there is also a separate, well-equipped training area for weight training and a sauna; all in all very nice. I have attended the boxing and Thai boxing courses and can definitely recommend them. You get enough advice and attention from the trainers and can therefore improve well if you put your mind to it. Shout out to Mario at that point. The guy is a luminary when it comes to making good use of your time. The boys and girls you train with are all stable - I never noticed that anyone there behaved in an unsportsmanlike manner. The gym culture is everything you want it to be! The bottom line is that beginners and competitors are in good hands here. The atmosphere is always good and all the trainers are extremely competent across the board. --> 10 out of 5 stars; Recommendation goes out
