We love the afternoon tea here . The warm scones with Assam tea are to die for. The egg sandwich were good too . The place is reasonably priced and the shakshuka was good as well . The only problem was the fact that there were more than 4 full grown bees on our table coming again and again and it was a little scary . We feared they would bite . Hence we had to be a little careful till the end. But we would love to come back anyday for the great food and hospitality.

A nice place to have breakfast/brunch. Reservation is needed if you want to sit in a particular spot. Food was satisfying. Service was good and staff was very welcoming.

This establishment certainly has its charms: a tasteful decor, an inviting ambiance, and an obvious appeal to the more affluent members of our community. It's easy to see why it's a popular haunt for the well-heeled, with its air of sophistication and exclusivity. However, as much as I appreciate a well-designed space, I believe the essence of a coffee shop lies in the quality of its coffee. Regrettably, on this front, the place fell short of expectations. The coffee served was not up to par with the high-end image the establishment projects. It lacked the depth of flavor, the rich aroma, and the smooth aftertaste that true coffee aficionados seek. This discrepancy was particularly stark given the hefty price tag attached to it. In conclusion, while this place might be a nice spot for the affluent to socialize and flaunt their luxury, the overpricing doesn't justify the mediocre coffee quality. It's a place more about the scene than the caffeine, which might work for some, but as a coffee lover, I left feeling somewhat disappointed. 🤔

Had a nice breakfast here. The staff are efficient and professional. It was not busy in the morning and fairly quiet. I would like to try the Afternoon Tea next time.

There's both a tea shop and a restaurant in the same place, with an enormous variety of teas to buy and drink. During Christmas time there is a special collection of teas with Christmas flavours at the shop. The one I bought was totally worth it. At the restaurant, the staff was very kind and took the time to help is choose which tea to taste. Apfelstrudel was also very delicious! *The restaurant is usually full but there is a beautiful back yard with blankets on the chairs.

You need to have a reservation if you want to sit in the back garden. The front cafe is free seating. Fried eggs were dry. Shakshoka was good

A great small cafe in the heart of Vienna. Visited on 8th Dec 2018 People: 2 Ordered: Great Italian breakfast and Shakshuka. Food was great. Would highly recommend. Accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly, not made for big groups of people. Food: 5 stars +++ Highlight: My Italian breakfast comes in 2 courses, and the best part about it was croissant with apricot jam and it was one of the best croissants I have had in my life! Buttery and flaky. Advice: Book in advance on weekends. Can get pretty full. Ideal of groups of 2 to 6.

Amazing food, the vegetables in the breakfast were delicious and thry serve breakfast all day. Fair priced, especially for its location right next to the cathedral. Great spot for vegetarians and loads of unique teas.

Old school kind of restaurant. They didn't invest in new tableware, glasswear, cutlery etc in a very long time. The breakfast menu picks are well designed but the actual food is just basic. The back garden is nice and calm during a weekday morning - and just a few meters close to the Cathedral. I would suggest they put more attention into details because the location is very attractive.

You must book ahead as it is VERY busy. The service is good, quite speedy and friendly. We went one day and they gave us a table for half an hour - we shared the bruscetta which was OK, and had the stephenstorte (chocolate cake) which was delicious. We went back the next day and booked ahead and had the belgravia afternoon tea. It was absolutely delicious, well worth the money. Variety of strawberries, tea, champagne, sandwiches and cakes. One of the sandwiches wasn't very nice (the salmon one) but I would have it again.

This is a lovely restaurant / cafe tucked away in the heart of Vienna's city centre, and well worth a visit! Serving very tasty food in a beautiful garden setting, you can also sample a wide range of excellent teas and finish with a scrumptious, warm scone served with jam and cream - simply devine 😍 A little taste of England in Austria's capital cake kingdom!

Haas & Haas is the first in my list of specialty tea houses in Vienna I've visited thusfar and I must say that I've not been disappointed at all! :) Food-wise, I'd say Haas & Haas is all right, and the true star is their selection of teas. I started with the Viennese Rosengard, which is a green tea with pesch notes. The tea was so lovely that I'd decided to try a second one --- the Figs & Rose tea --- which was beautiful as well. Both are teas which are naturally sweet without any bitter notes and, to my surprise, their flavours were more intense than their scent. Both are not classified as luxury teas in the menu and come in at EUR 5.90 a pot. Aside from the two teas, I got the English breakfast set (which has two courses --- the platter with toast and a second course with a scone --- that costs EUR 13. The English breakfast doesn't follow the traditional English breakfast (which has baked beans and mushrooms and no fries from what I recall). The second course of a scone was rather nice with the mascarpone although I can't help but wonder how much better it'd be with clotted cream. The ambience of Haas & Haas was fabulous as well. I had the pleasure of enjoying a quite morning in the inner courtyard facing away from the hubbub of Stephansplatz. I really liked the experience there and I'd definitely return to try more of their teas. ‪⸜(*ˊᵕˋ* )⸝‬

We've found the tea shop at first, it was lovely and smelled most delightfully. The cafe itself was noticed later, we fell for that menu🤭... Can't help it, I'm so into "afternoon tea" and scones 😋 after my visit to England, that decided to refresh those gourmet- memories. It's a nice place, nothing posh, mind you. Very small inside, but there was also option to sit in the garden. We went for classic. Well done tea with a 2-tiered stand of delicacies to enjoy. A breakfast and a normal menu also available, not to mention other different tea- ceremonies. Staff is friendly. Book your table in advance.

Great place with delicious food and coffee, nice staff and a beautiful garden (and good prices). We will definitely visit again on our next trip to this city!

If you want to stay in the Stephansplatz-area, avoid the crowds and want to treat yourself with some real quality, this will be the perfect place for you! The restaurant has an overroofed quiet courtyard to sit cosily during the warmer months (inside is nice, too, although a little bit crammed). Staff super nice, fast and helpful. In my opinion the best coffee and best hot chocolate in Vienna is served, as the owner is a barista and has created some delicious coffee blends. Huge tea selection (check out the connected tea-store!) and fresh yummy food for definitively reasonable prices.

A quintessential Viennese tea house serving fresh homemade British scones clotted cheese and jam .. a delight for my Sunday afternoon when I’m home sick🤓.. service great .. they also do high teas … but I stick to scones and tea .. price reasonable for the service and atmosphere .. never fail to please .. need to book .. but lucky me I always go the right time to get a table for a quick cuppa and scone ..OMG how many times can someone keep saying scones are great and are an amazing British invention …please visit Haas & Haas if you like /live teas

CRAZY! I ordered a pot of tea and they charged me TWO EUROS because I asked for honey instead of sugar. This is a serious tourist trap. Stay away.
