Super experienced DJs that keep the transitions flawless, and there was never a point where you were disappointed by the song choice. There are 3 areas inside: house, hip hop and pop/deep house. Be sure to bring cash for cover charge, but other than that there are terminals at every bar. Drink choices are limited and expected to pay 5€ for a shot. The place starts to get crowded by 23:30 all the way until closing at 06:00, and are most busy on fridays for sure. A lot of people are writing about bad experience with bouncers, we were three guys and had a great experience with them. They are friendly and professional. Understand that this is not Barcelona, these guys don’t have time for a big group of guys where some can’t stay on their feet. Volksgarten offers a great demographic, people are friendly and you won’t experience pushing and groups that are violent. The guide to avoid ques and getting rejected are as follows: Come when they open, come nicely dressed, not too drunk and most importantly with a friendly and good attitude towards ALL staff. You will find yourself having a great time and lasting memories everytime you go.

Me and my friend came to visit Vienna on recommendation we decided on Volksgarten. Upon arrival we queued for 30 minutes with our friends from Vienna (who were allowed in) only for us to be denied entry on the grounds we didn’t bring any girls (even though the girls we were with were allowed in!) The treatment of normal people by the demonic ‘Ante Portas’ security guards was ridiculous and extremely degrading. I would recommend this club if you like feeling like a second class citizen for no reason whatsoever.

Best place I have been in Vienna for a night out, for me it has everything. Indoor dancefloor is as good as any club I have been to and even has big outdoor areas for either chilling or again dancing. Friday and Saturday are amazing. Apparently open on a Thursday - not checked that. Sunday is closed and I think Monday too.

While visiting Vienna over the weekend from Sthlm my friend and I were a little hesitant about clubbing at Volksgarten due to many reviews insinuating ethno-party scene appealing only to a certain ethnic group of people. We were happy to see these reviews are certainly not true as the crowd was multicultural and very friendly. It’s true the bouncers pushed back on a couple of guys and girls equally but they seem to have well trained eyes and kept the crowd well balanced. Great margaritas 13€/each, good bartenders, some slightly too stressed when it got too busy. Good mix of charts, techno, hip hop, several dance floors which get really crowded but you can get your space, as there’s no pushing around. Reasonable DJs. Expect long queues to the ladies after ca 3 am when girls start passing out from too much buzz but otherwise a really great place for dancing your night away.

The situation was good and the environment is awesome but the music choice was terrible. Some not so “dancable” pop songs that was really hard to dance to. I was really disappointed. Also, my friend and I got cocktails that we didn’t feel any alcohol in. Not while drinking, nor afterwards… I would go there if you like popular songs that are NOT made for dancing but otherwise the vibe is good

So me and my friends decided to go Volksgarten. Our group was consisting of 3 white girls, 2 white boys and 2 brown boys. Im one of the brown guys and the other one is my Indian friend. They didnt let me and my Indian friend in. Funny how a developed place like Vienna also has people with under developed mentality (hard to not use the "R" word) but then again bad apples exist everywhere. Awesome dance club attached to the royal rose gardens. I rated it 4/5 only because there was a singular bartender who knew how to make a Long Island iced tea. There’s like three different dance floors all with different music playing and different vibes. One of the dance floors inside has a removable ceiling and they had cool pyrotechnics and lasers. Definitely recommend going back for a good time. One of the security guards was hesitant to let me in because of my Birkenstocks apparently so be aware of that

Really beautiful park in the centre of Vienna, near the Rathaus and Hofburg. It is very well kept, full of flowers, especially roses. We visited in the end of May when the roses were in full bloom and it is something you shouldn`t miss.

I so want to love this place. The first time I went it was really good but things seem to have gone downhill quite a bit, it's just not what one would expect from a country such as Austria. The music is my main gripe: I can deal with shabby furniture, expensive drinks or rude bouncers what I cannot tolerate is when the music is consistently bad and there's no atmosphere or mood. Get the music right already! Going there is a bit of a hit and miss. Cannot keep up with US or international clubs. Not a bit.

Despite filming going on when we visited, it is a lovely place to wonder, look at the different flowers and read the cute messages. Definitely recommend for a stroll at least.

The Volksgarten is a pleasant relaxing Park opposite the Austrian Parliament. There is a Temple, toilets a young children's play area. There are refreshment facilities but they didn't seem open. You need a 50 cent coin to operate the toilets.
