My
jacket
was
stolen
right
under
a
security
camera.
At
first
the
owner
seemed
to
be
acting
impolite
and
weird
by
pretending
to
be
in
a
busy
conversation
and
ignoring
me;
then
he
finally
listened
and
started
joking
and
telling
his
friends
around
that
it
was
hard
to
find
a
“black”
jacket
in
the
camera
and
that
it
was
a
blind
spot
(even
though
it
was
right
under
the
camera).
I
told
him
exactly
what
time
interval
it
went
missing
to
check
the
footage
but
then
he
pretended
to
look
around
in
places
I
had
already
looked
and
in
piles
of
other
peoples
jackets
who
were
clearly
feeling
encroached
upon.
All
this
drama
when
all
I
wanted
was
the
video
footage.
Finally
he
agreed
to
check
the
footage
the
next
evening
as
he
was
“tired”.
I
had
high
hopes
the
next
day
of
locating
the
culprits
in
the
video
footage
despite
his
behavior.
But
next
day
when
I
messaged
him
he
said
said
he
was
unable
to
locate
the
culprits
in
the
security
footage.
Looking
at
the
owner’s
shallow
behavior,
I
really
I’m
not
sure
if
one
of
the
people
working
there
stole
my
jacket
or
they
just
wanted
to
punish
me
for
not
using
the
coat
check-in.
In
hindsight
I
shouldn’t
have
listened
to
the
one
accompanying
me
that
it
was
safe
to
leave
the
jacket
on
the
table.
Didn’t
expect
this
at
all
in
a
club
filled
with
security
at
the
door
and
many
cameras
all
around.
And
to
add
to
it
Vienna
is
one
of
the
most
liveable
cities,
so
crime
should
be
less
or
swiftly
punished
when
it
occurs.
It’s
not
the
theft
or
the
money
involved
but
the
refusal
to
offer
genuine
help
during
need
that
puts
this
place
in
my
untrustworthy
list.
