The museum was great. I loved seeing all the clocks and history. Some of the staff were impatient with us. The museum was to close in 45 minutes and they wanted us to hurry. We were reminded by pretty much everyone to be out by 6pm. We never intended to stay any longer than that. They really didn't want anyone coming in the last hour.

Cool place to see lots of old clocks. There is text on the walls describing the history of clocks which I found interesting. Fairly cheap.

It’s fine. If you really like clocks, this is the place for you. But if like me, you are able to be loosely interested in clocks for a short period of time, because of a general middle of the road curiosity about life, you will run out of steam about half way round. It really is just a lot of clocks.

The location of the museum is amazing. I love this corner. The museum has three floors with a lot of different clock. Each first Sunday of the month the entrance is for free. If you like art, this museum can give you a lot of inspiration 🤍

I didnt like the museum. Collection is actually very good. But you should be clock enthusiastic to love this museum. There are different types of clocks during the development of the technology. Also different types of church clocks is also interesting. One of the great thing about this museum is every first sunday of the month is free.

Fantastic Clock Museum ⏰! The watch collection is simply amazing, spanning a variety of eras and styles, from antiquity to modern times. I recommend this museum to all connoisseurs of watchmaking and history. Here you can enjoy an amazing collection and plunge into the unique world of watches. This is one of the best museums I have visited in Vienna! 🌟

Great museum with lots of unique time pieces from the last few centuries. It was really cool to see, definitely recommend if in the area. It's not too large, so perfect if you have an hour.

It is a very short museum although on 3 levels. We took our time and spent around 25 minutes in there. It is an impressive collection, but I think it is more interesting for collectors than for lay people.

Visited on 14/1/23. This place is worth 2 hours of anyone's time. Low entrance fee and a wide-ranging collection of clocks and watches covering ~400 years. Warning no lift and spiral starcase to upper floors. I liked the pocket sundials and the small clocks inserted into pictures just as part of the scene.

Some of the staff were really passionate about clocks and were able to give us lots of info! Descriptions were in German and English. I found it very interesting :) We were able to walk in and purchase tickets on the day

Very détailled history of clocks through history, with many, many models. Well explained. The presentation based on time was logical and well thought.

Period watches. You will absolutely love them & want to have one of them. There you will watch even very historical watches, even you will know when did watches come in existence & how were they in structure.

Fascinating selection of old clocks, some with brief information, most with no label. We visited on the first Sunday of the month, when it's free. Not sure it would be worth full price for entry.

Great collection! We also were lucky to have the museums employees being so outgoing and invested in the history and details, so we got the experience as if we had a private tour guide.

A small, three floor museum, but packed with clocks, horologes, mini-clocks and even clocked paintings! Absolutely beautiful collection.

A charming atmosphere of the past, loved the place, a small but cosy museum in the middle of the city. There isn't much traffic around, this place has a unique aura and the magical second of the carriages passing by The only minus is the absence of lift

This “small” museum of timekeeping devices spans 3 floors arranged by historic periods and types of clocks. Even if you think you are not really interested, you may still be amazed by several of the pieces on display, and with an entrance fee of only 8 EUR you really should give it a try! Note that many of the items have a QR code posted, if you scan it you get to see a short video of that item actually operating. (It also has lockboxes at the entrance, restrooms, and the full price when we went was only 8 EUR.)

The museum is great and have three floors of clocks and watches. I’m giving 3 stars for two reasons: 1st - On the third floor two employees kept following us room by room what made me and my husband feel very uncomfortable. 2nd - too many clocks are not working.

I just loved the glorious clocks against the bare white walls... absolutely stunning. One of those great hidden gems of a small museum!

Uhrenmuseum (Clock Museum) is located near Judenplatz in one of the oldest house in Vienna, dating back to the Middle Ages . In addition to being able to visit a historical building which accommodates the museum, the collection is quite unique and impressive. At the Uhrenmuseum, you can see around 3000 historic clocks of various shapes, sizes and ages - a very nice collection for anyone interested old 'tick-tock' makers. Among the highlights for us were the fascinating turret clock of St. Stephens (1699) as well as the 17th century astronomical clocks available to be seen. There are many other table and mantel clocks, traveling clocks, old stopwatches and classic grandfather clocks from the 17th and 18th century. Some of the 19th century picture clocks were interesting to see as well. Overall, we spent just under an hour happily exploring Uhrenmuseum and would happily return for another visit to again see this extensive and impressive collection of clocks and timepieces available here.

A visit to the clock museum in Vienna is to be thoroughly recommended if you can make time in your holiday schedule (no pun intended!). A truly eye-opening array of clocks and watches spanning centuries and time measurement fashions that is incredibly interesting to see. Through the ages and across continents, visual displays of time varied widely, some of it just spectacular in its ostentatious splendour! A great afternoon out in all honesty 😀⏳️⌚️⏰️⏱️🕰🕒

A museum for the very interested in clocks. Mostly house clocks, and only a single display with wrist watches. I was somewhat disappointed, but the rest of the family was happy enough.

As a watch enthusiast, I must recommend this. The museum has a lot of amazing watches dating from 17-18th century until present times. It is a must while in Vienna? No. But if you are passionate about them or have some spare time, I recommend you pay a visit. Also, entrance is free on the first Sunday of the month.
