Nice concert and great performances. Really enjoyed. 4 but not 5/5 because the hall is really small and visibility is bit of problem!

Before making a decision whether to buy the ticket from the salesman, please read this. The concert is not worth it! I’m not even sure if the venue where the concert is held is even the place where Mozart performed. Please check if there are other “good” concerts held in other places.. like the vienna opera house

We booked a concert with one of the street vendors with carts not really knowing what we were going to get. Firstly, we discovered there was an outdoor eating area behind the palace with food trucks and was a lovely atmosphere to have dinner and drinks before the show. We could not fault the actual concert. The musicians, singers and dancers were faultless. They all looked like they thoughourly enjoyed what they were doing and so did we. The theatre is fairly small so you get a good view of the performers.

As a first time experience it was good. But the place is too small as we expected it to be bigger when we reserved the chairs and saw the map for the room it looked that we are going to much more bigger room that we were excited to pay more to get the seats in the middle, but in the end it did not matter because the room is too small and you can see everything from all the chairs. The chairs were simple, small and a little uncomfortable and the room without air-conditioning. They also offered drinks and more things and this was not included in the price and you have to pay and it was not cheap at all regarding the price we did pay. If you have experienced this kind of shows I do not recommend to try this one. If it is your first time it is okay to see but do not expect a big room with comfortable seats.

Scammed by the salesman. The venue is unbelievably small, never suitable for an orchestra concert, opera, or a ballet. When the dancers were jumping on the stage, the stands of the instrument players were shaking. The performance are all very... plastic :) The first violin.. he makes lots of squeaky noises. Please practice more!

Enjoyed a wonderful concert while in Vienn on a Viking cruise. A mix of Music, Opera, and Ballet by Vienna Residence House. Very enjoyable evening.

The show is a potpourri, great atmosphere, live music and dance. Seats are very tight though and if you are a fan of this kind of thing you probably saw it all before. If you're new to this it's worth it.

I tried both the Kursalon Orchestra and Wiener Residenzorchester. Both orchestras are good. They served mostly different pieces from Johann Strauss and Mozart. The format is the same, there were both ballet and voice (opera) parts. For this one, the program went straight to the pieces without pauses to explain which piece they're going to play. This format is fine to me because they played a lot. The difference from the Kursalon is, the Palais has an ornate pink oval shaped theater which really brings out the sound. The room is smaller but it allows me to hear and see the orchestra really well even though I'm seated on the B-section. Another difference is the ballet and opera performances had costume changes (they were nicely dressed too). The orchestra is smaller (2 violins?, 1 viola?, 1 flute, and a pianist). No percussion on this one. The stage is small so you can only see the pianist if you're seated on VIP to A sections and B section on the left side. I liked the performance and my experience here immersed me back in time.

We have been here for a show that included classical music, dancing and opera singing. It was wonderful and the artists were great. Strongly recommend to arrive 20 minutes before so you have enough time to leave your jacket and get a good seat. It's very warm inside.

Fun evening, not usually our scene but really enjoyed it. Queuing system needs some work, particularly after for coats or for wine at the interval. More information about who should be in which line. The musicians were great, the singing was fun, not so sure about the quality of the ballet. Beautiful building. We had the best seats but I think the normal ones would have done fine. It took us a while to figure out the programme- multiple songs from artists. Sounds so obvious now, but we didn't twig that till near the end so, being ignorant about this kind of thing, didn't always know which song was which. I think a free programme of the songs would be nice rather than charging you an extra fiver for the brochure, with the a4 insert in there of what you are listening to. If you want a glass of wine at the interval, queue up on the left of the door to pay for it first its only the coach parties that just get the one queue.

We attended a 90 minute 'Taste of Vienna' type concert/recital/dance performance using about a dozen performers. Intimate and fun to be 'guests' in a city manor!

The location of this venue is excellent, showcasing the beautiful baroque architecture from the 1700s. During my trip, I noticed numerous people dressed as Mozart trying to sell tickets to the Wiener Residenzorchester Konzert. While such encounters usually irritate me, these individuals approached us with kindness and no intrusion. Curiosity piqued, we decided to attend the concert. The performance featured a mix of Mozart, Strauss, and Vivaldi, combining elements of a concert, ballet, and opera, all catered to tourists. The ensemble, consisting of a piano, flute, three violins, a viola, and a contrabass, might not have been a fully-fledged orchestra, but it allowed for more affordable ticket prices compared to traditional opera, concert, or ballet performances in Vienna. As a first-time experience, I was thoroughly satisfied with the event, especially since the musicians and dancers injected humor into the performance, adding a fun twist to the original context. However, there were a couple of downsides. The person who sold us the tickets didn't mention any specific dress code and assured us that our casual outfits were perfectly acceptable. While the staff didn't object, we did receive some disapproving looks from other guests. Additionally, the seating consisted of "moveable" chairs rather than proper theater seats, which was a minor inconvenience. Despite these minor drawbacks, I highly recommend obtaining tickets, visiting the venue (which you can do in just 15 minutes before the start of the concert), and savoring the unique experience!

Mind blowing experience, highly recommended. All the performers were extremely talented. If you get approached by someone selling this experience, just do it!

Great venue, makes a difference from places you'd find around UK. Nice architecture and lots of space to host several hundred people. The one big drawback which made me score lower than I'd like to, is the terrible air circulation in the building. I understand that it is a historic palace, but it was really uncomfortable and occasionally I'd find myself taking my jacket off and putting it back on when moving from room to room.

We saw an absolutely wonderful concert there. The concert featured aclassical music ensemble of violinists, piano, flute, viola, base , opera singers and ballet dancers. All the performers were excellent. I highly recommend this venue for a wonderful musical experience.

Interesting venue for a classical music performance. Historical building and has numerous side auditoriums. Nice acoustics. If visiting and listening to a performance then note the air-conditioning is poor especially when a full audience is present.

The soprano vocalist and musicians we saw perform were amazing. The hall was historic, gorgeous and acoustics perfect for this performance. I would definitely recommend going to there.

Charming little room for chamber music. The ensemble played popular pieces esp Mozart. The place itself is nice. A nice evening to spend in Vienna with music.
