Looking for a quiet place to sit if you need to kill some time? The park provides lots of trees shade and plenty of benches. In the warmer months, the birds will sing very loudly to you.

Amazing what you can fit into an original flak tower from world war 2. It is definitely an interesting place, both in the form of an aquarium / terrarium and as a remniscent from the war!

Amazing zoo in the city 😻 my daughter love it . Adult price is around 20€+ and kids 6€+ we spend all day and don't forget to go to the 360 view on the top . Just simply amazing

Amazing fish from all over the world, looks amazing and other animals like little monkeys and stunning birds. The only problem is the stairs of 9 floors which are very difficult to climb, because the only elevator takes a long time to arrive

I have two teenagers who loved this. The design of the building to take care of the animals is amazing. The interaction with staff to discuss your visit and the family friendly nature of this zoo makes it a must visit.

5 stars for the experience of seeing the monkeys, turtles and even the tarantula (yuck). The turtles and monkeys were very entertaining (see pic and video) 1 star for the staff in the enclosures that sat there looking like their job was the most boring thing in the world. I honestly feel like it would have been so easy to steal a monkey for the lack of attention some of the care givers gave. 1 star for the state of some of the tanks. 1 star for limited hand sanitizing stations. For the amount of people there that were very obviously ill, would have been nice to sanitize a little more.

One such Flak Towers has been renovated into an incredible aquarium with fine dining on the top floor for a panoramic view of the city proofing although man is capable of building something evil he can also transform it into something beautiful. These towers were 11 stories high with not only anti aircraft guns to defend the city but the ability to provide shelter for up to 10,000 citizens.

WW2 flak Tower repurposed and now houses an aquarium and climbing wall. Nice park where there are plenty of benches and outside activities for the locals.

Loads of muscle heads using the park as a gym and getting annoyed about any kids wanting to climb on the climbing fame, or pull up bars as they have become. See background of photo. The atmosphere was not ideal, so I went elsewhere.

Relaxing place in front of the aquarium zoo. In summer, there are water fountains for you to cool down. There are also some benches to sit.

Becomes very crowded! Arrive early and go to the top first, keep the stroller in first floor Besides that, beautiful!

Lot of entertainment for everyone. The park itself is very nice, you find a lot of things you can enjoy. You can do exercise here, there is a tennis court as well. A lot of homeless people gather in the park, some people say that it is dangerous to be here sometimes. I think it's dangerous only for the homeless. The polizei is often there in the park. Don't be scared. 😃

The whole building is a wonderful museum of the sea creatures! Interesting for children and parents both.

The facade of the building was under reconstruction, but the inside is very beautiful. It will appeal to both adults and children. A huge variety of fish, animals and reptiles will not leave anyone indifferent. On the top floor there is a cozy cafe and a viewing platform.

Amazing Aquarium. Well worth the money

Beautiful aquarium. The best part is where you can walk freely amongst the monkey's, bats and birds! They have a great animal variety, the only downside is that you have to get up the stairs (or elevator) a lot. On the roof you can chill out, have a drink and enjoy the view. You can see the whole city from up there.

If you are tired from the hustle and bustle of Mariahilfer Strasse, take a stroll in the park, sit on a bench and enjoy the sun. Kids simply love it because there is a large playground and an artificial waterfall kids can make out of the hydrant (best in spring and summer of course) .

  • 5/5 Murel M. 2 years ago on Google
The view amazing from the top restaurant/bar. We just visited at night, not sure how is aquarium or the rest of the building but next time when back in Vienna I will check it out definitely.

I don't know why is called Esterhazypark. Is Haus des Meeres. And is a nice terrarium and aquarium where you can spand some good hours. The price is relatively cheap. You can also eat there and enjoy a nice view.

Great place for everyone. Beautiful views from top floor terrace. Many various species of fishes and other animals to see and tropical garden with a glass free flying birds, bads and monkeys.

Wow, totally wow, it dosent value 20 euro, but i think this money goes to the investmant of the building properly. It was amazing.. 9 floors and 2 more with high balcony to see vienna view. Very beautifull.

Great place for kids. Various slides, fun obstacles, monkey bars, swings and many more. Located very close to amazing Acqua zoo so it's worth to spend time here when standing in line for tickets. Bus stop just meters away, parking garage up to 300 meters away.

This place is huge, absolutely amazing, and worth a million visits. We learned during our visit that before the Esterhazypark became what it is today it was a defense tower many years ago. We were able to experience the birds openly without them being caged, and it was a beautiful, and serene experience. There is so much to see, and we can't wait to visit again.

Small park around the flakturm that's been a aquatic museum for 50 odd years. Nice dog run and kinder park but a little thin for adults. Aquarium on the small side. Spectacular cafe on the roof with great views around the city.
