Nice place, good homemade lemonades and good food. I went for the Damon, which had been good in taste, but slightly too hard. The salad beneath it was good and fresh. As for the staff they had been nice and helpful and actively looking, which I appreciated. The waiting time for the food was quite high for what we ordered. In regards to the taste, it was as mentioned good, but nothing recognizably good for me. Another thing that really bothered me: You can’t pay with card. They only accept cash.

I have never been so badly treated while dining out in my life. The restaurant didn't inform me beforehand that they only accept cash, so when it was time to pay, I said I would have to go to the cash-point (just a few metres away from the restaurant). The waiter then demanded that I hand him my passport until I came back. I responded that I was not comfortable giving him such an important document, and suggested that one of their staff might accompany me to the cash-point if they were concerned. He refused, and when I wouldn't back down he became aggressive and told me he wouldn't let me leave the restaurant unless I gave him my ID. In the end I was forced to hand over my credit card to him so I could use my debit card at the cash-point. Frankly I regret handing over the credit card, which was clearly a security risk. I'm not clear on why this was necessary given that the cash-point was only a few metres away and visible from the restaurant, and that they had plenty of staff who could have kept an eye on me. I *strongly* advise you avoid this place.

I dropped in for a quick lunch and decided to go with chicken wraps which were well seasoned and a good size. Service was friendly and efficient - everything came fast. Reasonable pricing and tasty food. If anything I'd improve it would be to have the fast changing LED mood lights be set to a soft colour fading mode during the day in the back area.

Living in the neighborhood, this is THE casual go to restaurant at every hour. Nice breakfast, even better lunch/ dinner. Try the Tewa‘s Grilled Chicken!

Nice Atmosphere. Food ia okay but nothing special. I tried their home made lemonade, it was soooo sweet and had classical ice tea taste from the supermarket. Which cast a suspicions if it was home made :( price to what you get it pretty high :/

If someone says, that Vienna is one of the most unfriendly cities in Europe, I think it is because of places like this one. Super unfriendly stuff, you really feel like guilty coming to this restaurant. Unpleasant atmosphere, unpleasant experience. No option to pay with bank card, only cash, stuff is extremely unpolite if u ask to pay with a card. They are unhappy to recommend any foodnir drinks, really a waste of time. High prices is comparison to what they offer in the menu. NOT recommended at all. Better to support places with some love for what they are doing.

Cozy little place in the center of Karmelitermarkt with nice outdoor seating area. The food is ok, nothing too special. The burger we had was not really that great, too well done, meat too flattened, ingredients rather bland.

Wonderful place to bruch! We ordered smoked salmon bagel, scrambled eggs and banana pancakes. Everything is organic and with a really good price. This cafe has a lot of plants creating a great atmosphere.

Upon arriving in Vienna, my companions and I were in search of a suitable dining spot. Fortunately, we stumbled upon Tewa am Markt, which happened to be conveniently located near our hotel. Intrigued, we decided to give it a try and opted for a light lunch. The service at Tewa am Markt was commendable, with attentive staff members who made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped inside. As for the food, while it didn't blow us away, it certainly satisfied our cravings. The dishes were decently prepared and presented, leaving us with no major complaints in that regard. However, one notable drawback was the restaurant's sole acceptance of cash payments. This posed an inconvenience for my husband, as he had to venture out in search of an ATM since we hadn't planned for a cash-only establishment. Unfortunately, he discovered that the nearest ATM wasn't quite within close proximity, which disrupted the flow of our dining experience. Considering the prevalent trend towards cashless transactions, it might be beneficial for Tewa am Markt to reconsider their payment options. By allowing card payments, the restaurant would undoubtedly attract a larger customer base, particularly among tourists who often rely on electronic transactions. In today's day and age, where cashless payments are widely embraced, expanding the business to accept card payments could prove to be a smart move. Overall, Tewa am Markt offers a pleasant dining experience with good service and satisfactory food. However, the limitation of cash-only payments can be a deterrent for potential customers, especially in a city bustling with tourists. Taking this feedback into consideration and adapting to the cashless trend could undoubtedly enhance the restaurant's appeal and draw in more patrons.

Really good place to eat at any time of the day or for a drink. When the weather is good it is nice to sit outside. Inside is comfortable as well. The service can get better ....

Absolutely love the hummus. This is what brings me back. The rest of the food is also pretty good. Always enjoy it.

Environment is great. I love this apple strudel, not too sweet and prefect match with a glass of white wine.
