The hotel is located in Central part of Vienna. An old building with minimum facilities and quite expensive for the service you get. The guy at reception was the rudest person you could imagine. I have travelled to many places around the globe but this person was unbelievable rude. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Location is as central as it gets. 5 mins walk just behind St Stephen's Cathedral. Staff are polite and reception is manned 24/7. Rooms are quaint, clean and a good size. The decor seems dated but it's all freshly smarted up

I had a very negative experience at this hotel last night. The receptionist was extremely rude and discriminatory towards me and my colleague. He swore at us in German and seemed to be particularly offended by the fact that my colleague was drunk. I asked him why he was being so rude, but he refused to answer. He just kept saying that he dislikes the smell of alcohol. As soon as he realized I was recording our conversation, he turned his face away and started pretending to be busy. I am appalled by this receptionist's behavior. He was completely unprofessional and discriminatory. I will be taking this matter up legally.

Excellent location. Take S7 train or CAT from airport to city center (S7 is cheaper) and walk 800 meters. Small old hotel, exellent breakfast, quiet location, friendly staff. Near to many attractions.

I spent 3 nights at the hotel, and had a very good stay. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from Stephansplatz cathedral, and it was an easy walk to many attractions, as well as the metro. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The building is old and charming. Note that the walls are thin, you can hear voices from the corridor and the room next door. I would definitely stay here again given the opportunity to visit Vienna again.

Spent 3 nights here. The location is great, just a 2 minute walk to St Stephen's cathedral, and the main Wien Mitte station is about a 10-15 minute walk away. The rooms were clean, a decent size with an old worldly charm. Staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was good. Only downside is that the walls are quite thin.

I absolutely cannot complain! I felt like living like a queen on this classy room in Vienna city center! The beauty lives on the details and also the kindness of the staff of this place! Attention, this is not a recent built, modern hotel! This a historical, classic building with a lot of history to tell! My room had this amazing deco that made me feel I was in a movie from the 50’s!

Very centrally located and reasonably appointed hotel with kind of a homey vibe. The rooms were a bit small but otherwise very nice. The staff was polite and helpful too. I didn't have adapters for the EU electric outlets and they were able to provide those for me. Which was great 2 mins from stephensplatz and from line 1 which will take you to the Vienna ferris wheel and naschmarkt

Nice hotel, quite and clean, the staff are very kind and welcoming people, always ready to give advices and support. The food and drinks are really nice and tasty. I recommend it for anyone who like to stay in Vienna city.

Perfect location for Vienna sightseeing. Staff are very welcoming and speak excellent English. Tall ceilings and windows and a deep and long bathtub made the room very comfortable as did the high cleaning standards. I appreciated that full size hand wash, shower gel and body lotion were provided. Very good value for the price.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent! The room was spacious and very clean! The receptionists and the whole staff in general were kind and helpful! If we ever visit Vienna again, we will choose it for sure!

Very good location close to Stephan's cathedral. Good selection for breakfast which was continually replenished. Staff at reception was very nice and helpful. Room was small, a bit worn but tidy. No noise from the inside of the hotel, despite the fact that your room was right next to the elevator. Due to proximity to city center and bars, there was some noise from the street in the night but not too bad on the fourth floor where our room was located. Overall, good deal for the money for a short stay, mainly thanks to location and staff.

Spacious and clean rooms right in the touristic center. Our room had a very nice tub. The staff was very friendly.

here 2 nights already. While out today, the AC obviously stopped blowing cold air. Got back to the room around 3:30-4pm. Super hot. I nicely asked the female mgr on shift if someone could come check on it. She refused and told me how to operate the thermostat instead. No need for that, i have been using it properly the last two days. I stated we will have to suffer then and she was not concerned. Sadly everything else during the stay has been great. Extremely disappointed and will not be back. Went back a 2nd time and was told I am the only one here. What if there was a plumbing water leak? No maid etc anyone to come to a room with a problem? No concern for the comfort of a guest. Poor mgmt!

Staff was very welcoming. My (single) room had a strange shape and while the furniture was nice, it wasn't a space you wanted to spend much time in. Bed was comfortable, yet quite narrow.

Fantastic location, staff, and hotel. Great breakfast. We will stay again. Only thing that can be improved is the coffee (Nescafé) other than that highly recommend!
