Very nice staff. Loved the Bio breakfast

We arrived after travelling 26 hours from Australia and the hotel was great. The staff at check in and breakfast were very polite and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was terrific, had a wide range of options available. The location is also very convenient, not quite in the centre of the city but several restaurants and a train station within a few hundred metres. Would stay again.

I dock a star for the hotel entrance with stairs: not accessible and not very convenient if you have large pieces of luggage. The room met our expectations and didn't have any issues. Fitted comfortably our family of 4 including 2 older teenagers (queen bed + wide double sofa bed). Plus: separate toilet/bathroom. Minus: sofa bed a bit noisy. Breakfast was good, with oat milk option. You can ask for soft boiled eggs. The hotel has a still/sparkling water dispenser in the hall which we used a lot. It is located right by an u-bahn stationn(U3). You can be in the old center within 10 minutes. The Landstrasse neighborhood is pleasant and quiet. We found some nice less touristy restaurants here.

Lovely hotel, upgraded us to a family suite with two bedrooms. Great breakfast in a beautiful greenhouse room.

Conveniently located near metro exit. Quiet. Big room. A little on the simple side. Nice bedding. Got a nice balcony. Reception not manned all the time, need to call staff. Breakfast very basic.

Spacious room very well located next to metro station and not far from city center (if you want to walk). Reception has an small area where you can refill water bottles, make coffe or the. Staff is really nice and helpful.

the room was great, big,claen. the staff was very helpful. we had a problem and needed to stay after chech out time. she checed and let us stay another hour with no charga.

Hi The hotel was just as we remembered it and we ended up with the same room ! The staff are amazing and of course the breakfasts are a highlight. And perhaps a special mention for the sauna - a great experience. But there are a few small blemishes or are we getting too pedantic ? I appreciate you can always ask but I think a set of flannels should be standard in each room. And why isnt it possible to get scrambled eggs rather than just a soft boiled egg for breakfast? Of course staffing constraints play a part but it would certainly be a welcome addition to what is on offer. And perhaps it would be wise to let people know a (soft boiled) egg is available and anything else that can be ordered(?). Perhaps a small blackboard sign. As repeat customers we knew to ask but that isnt always the case.

Reception was helpful. Room was clean and well stocked. Bed was comfortable. Nice little garden outside of room. Close to underground.

Super clean, eco-friendly hotel that offers a wonderful stay for local and foreign travelers. Their sustainability levels are immaculate, the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet had options for kids, adults, vegans, and any other dietary restrictions. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Spiess & Spiess. Once arrived we were greeted with the warmest welcome we had over this year. The room was spacious, very clean and with great attention to detail. Breakfast deserves a separate review - it’s all locally sourced, various dietary options available and everything we tried(we couldn’t resist not to try everything) was of the finest sustainable quality and exceptionally delicious. We also attended the sauna several times over our stay, it was absolutely incredible balancing experience. The staff went extra mile just to comfort us and satisfy our requirements. Hotel Spiess & Spiess truly deserves it’s status of boutique hotel, and it was the highlight of our Vienna stay. I will look no more once visiting Vienna.

We recently stayed at Hotel Spiess & Spiess and absolutely loved it. The room was spacious with lovely big windows. The bathroom had heated floors and a seperate toilet. The attention to detail was fantastic and the location great. Highly recommend this hotel..

I spent four nights in July in Vienna with my daughter and we had a nice stay at the hotel. On the positive side the staff was always polite and helpful. Vienna has a very good public transportation system and as the hotel is located right by a subway station it was very easy to get around the city. The internet is very good! On the negative side: We weren't told that the hotel does not have a 24 hour reception service. We found our room card with our name on it on the reception desk when we arrived to check in at 9 PM and it was a bit scary because someone could have taken it before us. It was fortunately not a problem but we expected an open reception. We booked a standard double room and unfortunately we received the room that was located on the raised ground floor but after two days we got a new and updated room which was really nice and had a fantastic view. I would definitely come back another time mainly because of the good location and the nice and clean rooms!

The room was very comfortable and the two bathrooms appreciated. The bedding was also comfortable. The very hearty and complete breakfast with quality products (juice with real oranges, ...). The breakfast room with this glass roof was very calm and particularly pleasant. The immediate proximity to the metro was very convenient.

This hotel sets the standard for a bed and breakfast in a big city. The place appears just renovated and the staff at the front desk is really helpful. The breakfast included real fruit salad, nothing from a can here and the owners famous scrambled eggs are great. With air conditioning and blackout blinds you sleep great and the washroom is spacious with room for all your things. It does not get better than this and all for a reasonable price

We stayed 5 nights in August and really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and well appointed, the view over the little garden made it quiet, and the breakfast had a decent variety. The staff in particular were very helpful and friendly both at reception and at breakfast time. While we would have liked to have stayed in the Centre, this hotel is only 3 station stops from the Centre, and that worked fine, because the station was 30 seconds walk from the hotel. We would have no hesitation staying here again.

Beautiful room. We are two adults and two teenagers and our room was a large, lovely suite with two bedrooms. This saved us a lot of money compared to booking two rooms. Very clean and pretty. Helpful front desk staff. Great location. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome hotel in a really cool location in Vienna! I wish the bed was a little better but besides that the staff is very friendly! I didn’t get a try to check out the breakfast. Highly recommend this little hidden gem!

The hotel staff are very kind and helpful and the rooms are spacious, that's why I gave this hotel 3 stars. The quality of the stay feels closer to a 3 star than a 4 star: The hotel entrance isn't accessible by baby trolleys, although the staff always helped carrying. The rooms weren't very clean, we found spiders and the floor was only cleaned by the 3rd day, the toilets had no toiletries, and the lobby stairs had dead bugs on the sides :( these are details that compromise the quality. But thankfully the staff were very responsive and kind so i wish them + hotel all the best
